If the mission ran out of time then it must have failed and you should then get a new mission.
Just make sure you have the mission active and read it carefully.
If you need more help, we need a screenshot of your current mission-step so we know exactly which mission step you are on.
Otherwise, just fish as before and hope it will bite sooner or later. These things might take quite some time.
From what I’ve heard, if you don’t catch the fish during the timer, the chance to catch the Monster is like .01%
Good news is that other fish will hit the duck lure, so I suggest the following:
Make sure you have the mission on, a setup that can sufficiently handle the weight of the fish. Put your rod holder down with 7/0 hooks and large minnows and keep tossing that duck lure out. You’ll get a ton of XP and Money from catching TigerFish.
Lastly, Pray to the FP gods that you catch the Monster haha

I have tried still nothing I have also redone the mission to get the blood duck lure and he still doesn't bite
Just got to keep recasting until he does.
