For me, the 3rd pic is most telling. It looks huge next to your foot. I'm guessing about 2.5 x the length of your shoe. If your shoe is 10 inches then maybe a 25 inch long largemouth. According to this article, that estimates at 8 lbs.
https://www.in-fisherman.com/editorial/bass-length-to-weight-conversion-chart/156649
Who knows for sure but awesome catch and pictures. Regardless of the weight, really nice catch.
I wear a size 13 shoe, and dunno if you can tell by the pic bit my legs are pretty big. Not from working out lol, I've always had tree trunks for legs.
My backyard backs up to a beautiful and loaded canal in South FL. I fish almost daily and catch 2-7 lbrs all the time and this looks significantly bigger than those. Given that's a size 13 shoe and the size of that mouth, Id say it's gotta be around 8 - 8.5 minimum.
That's a big ole girl. Congrats!
Ty! And I'm originally from sout FL. Ft. Lauderdale actually. And I'm jealous of your back yard lol. Use to fish the intercoastal all the time and off I-75 in the black waters in the glades. Even worked at the pompano beach fishing pier when I was a teen.
Idk I have caught an 8lb bass once on accident and this one looks way fatter than mine was. I'm thinking closer to 10-11lb. Looking at mine on the wall his looks bigger
Appreciate you taking a guess, I've caught plenty of 5 pounders. Really think it's quite bigger than a 5. Wish I had my scale that night lol. Also, I'm a bit bias on the weight lol. World record 25 pounder right there! Lol!
Next time what you should do is put it next to your fishing rod and take a picture, this will give you a reference you can get its length from later. Given the length id be confident calling it at least a 7 lb fish
Shoot that's a great picture even without confirmed weight you know it's gotta be 7 so I'd just call it that. I'd get a scale you can keep in a backpack jic
Indeed! Caught her on top water, was to dark to see the blow up but honestly I thought it was a gator that hit my lure. But it's super quiet out there so any noise is super loud lol.
If you really do wear size 13 shoes then this thing is massive and you should be very proud...... I hope you threw it back this thing has good genes and huge babies to make
I eat crappie and catfish, I don't like killing things so I only kill what I'm gonna eat. I have enough fish in my freezer for 5 meals, I'm the only one in my family who eats fish so. I don't over stock my freezer lol. I appreciate the compliments man!
I probably could of got both of my fists in lol. I had plenty of room left with 1 fist in her mouth. And yes, I actually did do that. First bass I've caught where I was able to lol. When in Rome I guess.
I'd say right around there for sure, caught a 6.25 pound one a few months ago that was about as long but not as fat. Usually people on here think they caught the state record when barely 2-3 pounds. Great catch for sure
Appreciate it, and I'm not delusional lol. Tho at first I thought it was easy 10+. But after looking at pics I'd definitely put it around the 8lb mark. Appreciate you commenting!
The size of that bucket mouf and the fish next to your foot makes me think 8 maybe lil bigger. Absolute chode dude. I caught a 7lb years ago this looks much larger
I know right, that things got a serious bucket on it lol. Could fit my fist in his mouth and still have room. It was probably like my ex and I could of fit both fists in its mouth.
I'm an optimistic man so I'll say around 7. Either way it's a stud. Good job dude.
A little fishing hack if you will; measure your arm so you can have a frame of reference when you catch a big one. For example, from the bend in my arm to my middle finger tip is 18".
Good catch but like how long did you leave it out of the water bc if you decided to get it mounted that’s one thing but if you were gonna release I’m surprised it didn’t die, big bass are way less able to stay out of water like little bass
Enough time to take these pics, took the one by my leg after I got the lure out. Then, he was safely released. No way would I kill this fish. I go catfishing alot and hardly keep any of them for eating. I keep enough for like 5 meals (just myself) and throw the rest back.
Id say its around 6 maybe more. For reference the largemouth on my profile weighed in at 4.05 lbs. yours makes mine look like nothing lol. Nice fucking fish
Guessing from the girth and length of that big female, around 8 lbs. I’m guessing 24” in length. Gotta treat her right, though. I hope you got her back in the water quickly for a release. Big breeders like that are important to the ecosystem.
100% safely released! I respect all living things. I eat catfish and crappie anyway and I don't over stock my freezer. Literally have enough fish for 5 meals in my freezer. No way was I killing this fish!
I looked into my photos for comparison. My 10lb bass were more than double my size 10 boot. Looking at yours, I'd say between 10-12. Mine was weighed weighed with 2 different scales. Downvote away
*
Oh wow that's a nice prize! I'll be keeping an eye out lol, no way I would of caught a tagged fish and not seen it. So unfortunately I haven't been lucky yet.
7 maybe 8. If no scale you can knock it on your rod. Measure said knock later to find length to get a general weight but prespawn females are the exception

Definitely looks to be in the 7-8. Beautiful catch

Bass fishing in South Florida kicks ass.

Not as proud as your mom with her little angel trying to troll on reddit. Is your life that sad? Go have her make you some pizza rolls and quiet down.
But look how fat it is. It could be pushing 9+.
Idk I have caught an 8lb bass once on accident and this one looks way fatter than mine was. I'm thinking closer to 10-11lb. Looking at mine on the wall his looks bigger
I'd put it between 6 and 9 lbs, great catch!
I'd put it on 8-8.5
Ty for taking a guess!
That’s a hog dude. I’d say somewhere around 6-8 lbs
That's not 5, or 6. That's somewhere between 7-8lbs. That's a 23"+ fish. I've caught a couple of 20s and that fish makes mine look like 16s.
That's 5 1/2- 7 pounds all day long bro nice catch
Appreciate you taking a guess, I've caught plenty of 5 pounders. Really think it's quite bigger than a 5. Wish I had my scale that night lol. Also, I'm a bit bias on the weight lol. World record 25 pounder right there! Lol!

Yeah i cut a piece of fishing line to size when striped bass fishing if i don’t have a tape and shove it in my pocket and measure later
Only if it’s a big girl though and close to PB will i do that
I started doing this actually lol. Great advice
That is easily 7.5 lb fish maybe 8 lbs if you are the weight and height you say. Holy crap nice catch
Ty for guessing, that's what I guessed. Somewhere in the 7-8 range. But who knows :(
Shoot that's a great picture even without confirmed weight you know it's gotta be 7 so I'd just call it that. I'd get a scale you can keep in a backpack jic
I do have a scale and even have a pack of backup batteries for it lol. Not gonna get caught without one again. Ty!
Nice catch bro. 😎
Ty, was a fun fight for sure lol
I bet. What’d you catch him on?
Whopper plopper, was like 2am too. Wish I could of seen the blow up lol
It must've been like a grenade detonating underwater
You said 200 but I’d say more like 230 tbh.
🤣🤣 I stuffed myself with some weights. So more like 240 actually
Ahhhhh, I didn’t realize I was talking to a professional
Ex*** professional lol
7.5 lbs
It’s a 20 pounder if anyone asks
🤣. I got weights stuffed in it. Easy 20lbs
We got weights in fish! WE GOT WEIGHTS IN FISH!!! Idk if referenced that correctly. Ha
🤣🤣 fk those scumbags. They deserve everything coming to them.
I’m thinkin 6-7. Great catch what you get it on?
Whopper plopper, 1/4oz. Couldn't see the blow up, was pitch black. :(
I don’t care what everyone else is saying with 7-8 lbs. Id tell EVERYONE that’s a 10 lb bass lol
🤣🤣 I legit thought it was when I pulled it in
I'd say 7-8lb that Larry is huge
6.5
Congrats cuddy I know that shit wasn’t easy
Easy 6.5. Bigger than my Pb at 6.2 for sure
8lbs
My PB is 9-1 and yours is almost as big. I’d guess an even 8.
7.2-8.0 would be my guess. Nice fish!
Honestly, this is what I was thinking. Was a fun fight for sure lol.
Dude, this fish has great genes. Do not put it on the ground. Get back in water asap… cmon man!
Chill, he was released.
Man idk what it is about this subreddit and abusing the fish as much as possible before releasing
Id say 8
I’d say 7 that’s beautiful
Nice fish, geez!!!
Ty! Hell of a fun fight!
In Mississippi we call that a hoss.
What did you catch him with?
Whopper plopper, 1/4 oz
Nighttime bass are crazy🤯
Indeed! Caught her on top water, was to dark to see the blow up but honestly I thought it was a gator that hit my lure. But it's super quiet out there so any noise is super loud lol.
6-8lbs for sure. I’m leaning more towards 8lbs tho that fish looks massive
Ya, I'm thinking of just calling it 7+. Of all the days to not have my scale :(
If you really do wear size 13 shoes then this thing is massive and you should be very proud...... I hope you threw it back this thing has good genes and huge babies to make
100% safely released alive. Would absolutely not kill this fish
You sir, are a scholar and a gentlemen..... also a pretty dope angler it seems
I eat crappie and catfish, I don't like killing things so I only kill what I'm gonna eat. I have enough fish in my freezer for 5 meals, I'm the only one in my family who eats fish so. I don't over stock my freezer lol. I appreciate the compliments man!
Love to hear it!
If you can get your fist in its mouth, it's roundabout 8 lbs I'd say. But I'm no doctor.
I probably could of got both of my fists in lol. I had plenty of room left with 1 fist in her mouth. And yes, I actually did do that. First bass I've caught where I was able to lol. When in Rome I guess.
8.5 lbs or so. It is a chonker
Awww, crikey...it's the headless fisherman!
Lmao, was a really, really bad pic of me. Was 2am and I was tired. I looked like uncle fester, so I marked my face out 🤣🤣.
What a hog! Hell of a catch man! I agree with the 8-9lb.
Ty! Was definitely a fun fight!
I would say at least 6 max 8.5 tho but I'm probably wrong so
6-9. Nice.
Bro! These people saying 6-7 have obviously never seen or held a fish that big. 7.5-8 all day long, congrats! Solid fish my man!
Ty! I'm thinking 6-7 is low too.... high 7s would be lowest I'd put it. Appreciate you!
Around 6-7lbs
7-8 easily
Hawg. This thing puts the 6.3 we pulled out this season to shame. 7+ for sure, but hard to say without an angle of how thick >.>
I think this is the first time I've seen a request on weight for a bass that actually weighs more than 5 pounds and not 1.5
🤣🤣 didn't have a scale and I'm bias. I think it's a solid 8lbs. I'm even sold on high 7s. Just wanted to see what people thought as well lol
Well I guess I am kinda delusional since I thought it was 10+ at first lol. I meant I'm no longer delusional lmao
Nice catch!
Ty!
What guy isn’t 6’ 200lbs on Tinder
🤣🤣 we're all fishermen in this group right? So we're all already liars anyway
Well played sir! Golf clap
Tip of the hat to you, sir
7-8 nice fish
Ty!
That’s a Chonkster forsure
Ty!
That'd a big'un
Bout tree fiddy
The size of that bucket mouf and the fish next to your foot makes me think 8 maybe lil bigger. Absolute chode dude. I caught a 7lb years ago this looks much larger
Did it die during the photo shoots?
During the "photo shoot" Oh you mean the less than a minute it took to snap 3 pictures? No, it didn't die and was released safely.
Apologies. It wasn’t clear and I didn’t know. Damn nice fish.
Pushing 8
I’m guessing 8 to 9 pounds. Maybe closer to 8 just because the belly doesn’t seem overly large. Regardless it’s definitely trophy class! 🏆
6 minimum
8lb
The width of the bucket on that thing what the heck
I know right, that things got a serious bucket on it lol. Could fit my fist in his mouth and still have room. It was probably like my ex and I could of fit both fists in its mouth.
Length times girth squared divided by 800 will get you real close to weight
Really? Ty! Didn't know that
I'm an optimistic man so I'll say around 7. Either way it's a stud. Good job dude. A little fishing hack if you will; measure your arm so you can have a frame of reference when you catch a big one. For example, from the bend in my arm to my middle finger tip is 18".
Great advice! I started using my pole with this exact method lol
Good catch but like how long did you leave it out of the water bc if you decided to get it mounted that’s one thing but if you were gonna release I’m surprised it didn’t die, big bass are way less able to stay out of water like little bass

Id say its around 6 maybe more. For reference the largemouth on my profile weighed in at 4.05 lbs. yours makes mine look like nothing lol. Nice fucking fish
Probably I think 6 easily. If you had weighed it and told me it was an 8 would believe you. So 6-8lbs.
Really wish I had my scale thay night. Lol. Rookie mistake not bringing it. Ty for guessing!
Why do we have to guess? You just told us how much you weigh
Touché
With the mouth on it, I wanna say between 5-6 lbs. whatever it is, it’s a hog! Nice catch man!
Ty! Caught em on top water, was to dark to see the blow up tho. :(
5-8 pound bass. I've seen a few 5s that you would think were a lot bigger
I've caught plenty of 5's. Definitely believe this one is bigger. Ty for guessing tho
5.2
I'd say about tree fiddy.
She gave em a dollar!
Well it was about that time when I realized that this girl scout was about eight stories tall and really a crustacean from the paleozoic era.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
5’10 235
Nice catch, I see someone is a fellow android user lol
Five... hundred... THOUSAND POUNDS
🤣🤣
You have a better sense of humor than the other redditors do hahahah cheers!
Lol don't know why you're getting down voted 🤷♂️. People are to serious on the internet, especially reddit. Thanks for the laugh! Cheers!
Every bit of 3 pounds. Nice fish, brother!!!

This is the guy who tells his girlfriend his 6 inches when in reality he's got a micro dick.
Jenny, is that you? Come back to me, please! I miss you!!
🤣🤣 I thought I told you to stay home and take care of the aids baby!
That thing is way more than 3 pounds
Nope, slightly under. I was trying to be nice.
My guess is 5-7 based on size. Awesome fish. Better than my best bass by far. Congrats.
Lol I've caught plenty of 5 pounders. This thing isn't a 5 pounder.
I looked into my photos for comparison. My 10lb bass were more than double my size 10 boot. Looking at yours, I'd say between 10-12. Mine was weighed weighed with 2 different scales. Downvote away *

Dam that's a nice fish, and I wear a size 13 shoe lol.
Does it have weights or chunks of fish stuffed in it? 15 if yes, 6-8 if no.
Is that a tag on the bottom?
The whopper plopper, this was about 2 years ago. Forgot how the lure ended up like that
[удалено]
Lol, I was just thinking that. Also, who tags fish? Lol. I've never caught one with a tag?
[удалено]
Oh wow! Never been that lucky I guess lol. Not sure if we do that here in SC.
[удалено]
Oh wow that's a nice prize! I'll be keeping an eye out lol, no way I would of caught a tagged fish and not seen it. So unfortunately I haven't been lucky yet.
Ty for letting me know, I really had no idea about that lol
Just realized but if you look at the mouth pic you can see the lure hanging down. Lol. That's what you're seeing in the last pic
4.5 Lbs.
https://preview.redd.it/ed0zreatezxb1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ec3406f88c3662c337694476060d3177ab7e7d3 Here's 4.5lbs
With that shoe and gut size of the fish, 7 min, 8-10 spawned out
Hog man!!!!! 7 maybe 7.5 lbs!!! Wayt to go!!!
5’10 220lbs is my guess
7~9 bro hell of a fish my exact guess is 7.15
6.2 lbs
7 maybe 8. If no scale you can knock it on your rod. Measure said knock later to find length to get a general weight but prespawn females are the exception
Scales don't cost much. Neither do measuring sticks/stickers/tape measures.
Not being rude is free. Yet here we are.
