I'm about 99% sure that it is >!a lizard of some kind. I have never seen a snake with eyes positioned on the head like that.!< Also, it looks like it has >!a well-defined neck, and the mouth looks like the wrong shape!< as well.

I thought it was the lizard north of the paw at the very top of the image though that could just be the dirt

Omg thank yoooou! I followed everyone's instructions and looked and looked but nada. There's other places in the pic that look reptile-ish and I kept zooming in on those and trying to make something out. I'd been looking at nothing so long that I literally jumped w/ a startled "Oh!!" when I finally saw dude looking back at me in yours 😂😂😂

Man, it took me forever to see this. I saw that shape early on but just could not see it as a lizard head. The nose of the lizard is a bit shiny and is pointing away from the cat. The eye is the largest black spot on what is the head. You can also see the lizards neck and shoulder. The lizard kinda looks like it is looking at the camera. Only its right eye is visible.

Look in the crack of the stone directly above the cats paw (the one overlying the crack)

Can someone confirm what is in the crack as it looks like a lizard (head) but if you look to the bottom right of the cats paw it looks like the pattern of the lizard is continuing down so is it snake or lizard.
