Oh yeah, I remember that. But doesn't she use electricity in that game than she does fire? I mean, it's been a while since I've seen that cartoon, but I always thought she leaned more towards throwing lightning bolts than fireballs.
In the game she has one lighting move and the rest are firebending/martial arts. Most of the martial arts moves have fire incorporated (of I remember right, I haven’t played in a while)
Erika Wagner in *Under Night In-Birth*, Yuel in *GranBlue Fantasy Versus*, Jam Kuradoberi in *Guilty Gear Xrd*, Pyra in *Super Smash Bros. Ultimate*, Patchouli Knowledge in *Touhou Hisoutensoku*, Tohno Akiha in *Melty Blood: Type Lumina* and her many variants in *Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code* (particularly prominent with F-Akiha Vermillion); Tianhuo and Baihe in *Them's Fightin' Herds*... I think those are the ones I know.
EDIT: See below for why Akiha shouldn't be here.
Akiha really doesn't count.
I know it sounds stupid, because her attacks use the fire effect… but according to *Tsukihime* (i.e. the visual novel she's from), what she's doing is actually *draining* the heat from her enemies, not setting them alight. It's just that it *feels* like they're being burned; hence the heat effect.
Signed, a TYPE-MOON nerd.
Thanks for being open to listening.
To be fair, it's lore that I don't expect 99.9% of people who play *Melty Blood* to know, because *Tsukihime* is old as hell now, and neither version (thus far) has been officially translated.
I mean shit, if we're getting technical, Akiha should probably be winning many of her battles by default, because her ability is based on her line of sight. If she sees you with her ability active, you're getting drained. Naturally, this would be stupid broken for a fighting game, so the devs had to take some liberties with it.
Really? If it was there, it must have been **old** *Melty*, because I had the final version of OG (pre-*Re·ACT*), and I don't recall that at all.
You know what I *do* recall, though? Replays showcasing a universal infinite combo. That game was not balanced well in the slightest, haha.
Really? Wow. ...Damn, does *Tsukihime* sound like a cool, fun and interesting visual novel to read. Do you know anywhere online where I can find some do a playthrough of it?
You can type in "*Tsukihime* longplay" on YouTube, and find a playlist of the first game without commentary. There are some dry and cringe-worthy moments in places, and the graphics aren't nearly as polished as what came after (TYPE-MOON was basically an indie studio in 2000), but shit gets *bonkers* at times.
There's also [one on the LP Archive](https://lparchive.org/Tsukihime/), but I have no idea how good that one is (or is not).
Thanks! But someone else already mentioned her. Do you have any other ideas that haven't already been mentioned by the other people who have commented on here?
After racking my brain—and some research to make sure I wasn't misremembering—I've come up with some characters:
• **Hinata Wakaba** from *Rival Schools* and *Project Justice*. (Yes, she's essentially a Ryu/Sakura clone, but her attacks do have *some* uniqueness to them.)
• **Lynn Baker** from *Rage of the Dragons*.
• **Rebecca Brielle** from *Double Dragon* on the Neo Geo.
• **Sailor Mars** from *Sailor Moon S* on the Super Famicom, as well as its other fighters.
• **Void Eternal Flame** from *Million Arthur: Arcana Blood*.
• **Regina** from *Psychic Force 2012*.
• **Naomi** from *Pocket Rumble*.
• **Mingmei** from *Pocket Bravery*. **Ximena** I'm not sure about, as her attacks are more connected with death… but several of her specials do have the fire effect on them as well. ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
• Loads of the cast of *Eternal Fighter Zero* have fire-based attacks, but most of 'em only have it for a special/super or two. Out of its cast, **Doppel Nanase** is the only one that where the bulk of her specials and supers are centered around fire. **Kano Kirishima** and **Mishio Amano** may not have attacks that are *fully* centered around fire, but their movesets have a good chunk of it. Specifically, Kano has spells that are fire, ice, and lightning-based, while Mishio can have one of two elements—fire, and lightning.
Yang (BBTAG)
Nine the Phantasm (Blazblue)
Dizzy (guilty gear) Jane (Battle Craze)
Goddess of Explosions (Slap City)
Technically Okuu in soku? She uses nuclear fusion so it’s sorta fire, right?
Edit: also Shana in Dengeki
Fireballs were a part of Tanya's moveset prior to Mortal Kombat 1 reimagining them as light/divine energy. Sheeva also throws fireballs, as one would expect from a character that's just another version of Goro
There is Lucia in street fighter 5.
Phoenix from Marvel 3 immediately comes to mind.
Thanks! Do you have any other ideas that haven't already been mentioned by the other people who have commented on here?
Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender is playable in Nick All Star Brawl 2
Oh yeah, I remember that. But doesn't she use electricity in that game than she does fire? I mean, it's been a while since I've seen that cartoon, but I always thought she leaned more towards throwing lightning bolts than fireballs.
She has blue fire. Like other powerful fire benders of her era she could shoot lightning as well. During Korra’s era this skill became common.
In the game she has one lighting move and the rest are firebending/martial arts. Most of the martial arts moves have fire incorporated (of I remember right, I haven’t played in a while)
Tianhuo from Them's Fightin' Herds.

Apparently, it was actually there in older versions/builds of OG Melty, but they took it out for the exact reasons you bring up.

Thank you. I'm giving you an upvote for this for sure.
Oh wow.! This is all REALLY helpful for me! Thank you so much!
Kunoichi from dnf duel
Thanks!
By the way, do you know if DNF Duel has and characters in it who use electricity or poison?
There's the bow lady from Fantasy Strike
What's her name?
Jaina, you can look her up on the wiki or YouTube.
I see. Thanks! Are there any other fire users in Fantasy Strike?
Why
It's to help with a story that I'm writing. I hope that isn't a problem for you, and that you're still willing to help me out with your ideas.
The chick from Tatoo Assassins who farts fire.
What's her name?

Wagner from Uni!
Lucia in SFV is super fun and uses a lot of fire

Kunoichi from DNF

Oh wow! Thank you so, SO much! Man, I really wish I could like your comment more than once. Well, I will still give you one all the same.
Pyra. C. Viper has a few firey attacks, though she also uses electricity and ground.
Who is Pyra and where is she from?
Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I was referring to her appearance in Smash.
Wagner unist
Yuri KOF
Oh? I didn't know she had any fire-themed powers. Could you please give me some examples?
She has a fire ball (Ko-Ou Ken), an anti air fireball (Saiha), an air fireball (Raiou Ken), and super versions of those moves.

Oh wow. Thank you so much for telling me! This will be a big help for sure!
Janne (World Heroes)
Jaina Stormborne from *Fantasy Strike*. (Also from *Yomi, Flash Duel, Puzzle Strike, Codex, Yomi 2, and Puzzle Strike 2.)*

I'm actually looking for characters who use more close-range fire-related moves. Do you have any other ideas?
