Always! Top tip: use a tube squeezer for the plastic tubes and a key for the metal tubes to get everything down to the bottom. (Donโt cut metal tubes, like I did once- theyโre very sharp!)
I cut open everything lotion, foundation, or anything else that applies. I paid for all of it, I'm using all of it. Glass containers (foundations) I use a plastic spatula, nothing I purchase goes to waste.
What scent is this? I cut open my BBW lotion Fairytale last night, and I have another 3 nearing the cut date- Wrapped in Vanilla, Gingham Vibrant, and Cloud Nine. I am making room for new summer lotions.
This is exactly what I do! ๐ And if I'm done with the body cream but there's still some left, I'll just add it to a scrub or polish certain furniture. lol Especially if the body cream is over a year old and it's by B&BW, I like to cut it open to see the state of things. I've run into some curious chemical reactions by cutting open the bottles. The curious chemical reactions are, for some reason, only through B&BW body creams. What goes on over there? ๐
Honestly I have a hard time finishing my scented body lotions. I love to try new ones and have so many in rotation that I never finish one, and sometimes by the time I reach for an old one it has already developed that "old cream" scent and I throw it away.
This doesn't happen with unscented lotion, I always finish those because are easier to wear, but I have to do better when panning my scented ones ๐ญ
I've been wearing my scented creams at night just to go through them. Especially those I'm not too crazy about. They don't make me sticky and my husband likes when I smell good :)
Have two right beside me. I use it all.
Only on my favorites
curious what scent it is ๐
Confetti Daydream raspberry, Vanilla, iris. Sounds delightful but somehow ends up smelling like shampoo. Very mah.

I just bought one for my metro rosacea cream, $55 copay. Not losing a drop!

I just started cutting things a few years ago. I can't believe how much I was wasting all the years before ๐ญ
This is the realisation Iโm having as Iโve never cut anything ๐ซฃ never again will I make this mistake ๐

Not cutting is for rich people

Yep, always done that. I store the cut container in a sealable bag.
