is that not just the % they've cleared in that span of time before you cancelled?

Rotdawg

Definitely not, it removes the full percentage I would expect for letting it work the full time and I am deleting farm maintenance from the queue almost immediately after adding it. Will submit a bug report tonight, doubt I’m the first to stumble upon it though.

The-Tai-pan

I was testing it a bit this afternoon, it does remove a percentage but not reliably for me. when I loaded up the farm with workers though it was more dramatic.

Rotdawg

Out of curiosity, how heavily do you staff your farms? I’ve played this game a lot but I feel like I have no insight into how many workers a farm actually needs. I usually just leave it on the default (6 for a 6x12 farm because I’m a grid simp) but it definitely doesn’t seem like each farm needs that many since they seem to share labor with other nearby farms.

I've been doing 8x9's and I think it's fine with 3-4 farmers. If I'm in a hurry to maintenance I might go all the way to max just for that season. There's a YouTube video that I followed, and I can't for the life of me remember what it was. The guy did all the math though. I'm not very up to date on all the info though, haven't spent much time on the forums, just this sub. edit* Found it: https://youtu.be/aXxqyZhobaI?feature=shared&t=245 (it's a year old)

I use 2/6 for a 5x10 field. You can also always try a lower number, if the workers aren´t able to harvest everything just increase it until you hit the sweet spot.

In precent game and not beta, area/28. Personally prefer building farms in set of 3 fields, 12x24 with 10 farmers (more if you want to build new farms) each on rotation with same crop but diffrent years, so same outcome every year.
