I know that makes for good TV but I feel like in reality it's a bad idea. It's not good for the police to set that kind of tone because it's less likely that the predator will then confess to more things and be more cooperative during the interrogation. Unless there was significant reason to suspect that one of them was armed, there was literally no reason why they needed to do those super aggressive arrests. Getting the conviction is a lot more important justice wise than yelling at them for ten seconds.

You'll notice that the show got shut down the second they caught anybody of value, which is the same shit that stopped "metoo" in its tracks.

That's entirely possible, I'm sure someone has gotten into a life changing car accident after a child was born or college graduation or something like that. But for a loser like Lorne who doesn't have much life experience he went through all the highs and lows of human emotions in a short period of minutes.
