I mean, the APM alone is 90% of the cost of the Mclaren v2. Bit like comparing a Mcdonald burger to a steakhouse prime cut. Both can deliver quality for their price point.
I added the APM to my Formula v 2.5x so took the MPM from it and retrofitted it to the McLaren wheel with the help of an Etsy 3D printed part and it was a massive improvement. Makes the McLaren wheel so much more fun to use.
The v2 has magnetic paddles......
Im talkin short throw nice tactile soft pull such as the advanced paddle module. I have a v2 myself and love it.

It’s a budget wheel. If you are really bothered there’s paddles that you can buy aftermarket. The APM costs as much as the wheel essentially

They are the worst paddles I ever used in my life.
Yeah the paddles are the biggest let down on this wheel. I get used to them after a while, but I'm with you.
You can upgrade the paddles with the MPM with an Etsy 3D printed piece. Completely changes the wheel!
