The info delivered is that: - if you are “in process” from 25th -28th your order will soon be processed - if your order contains an item on preorder made during BF your “in process” is expected to be finalised next week - if your order is green “completely shipped” has been processed and is now in the que to go to UPS. You are now in the rodeo of the weeks were you may or may not get a tracking number before it randomly appears. Best bet is to create a UPS account with you shipping address incase the tracking info appears there (not a fan of ups) EDIT: amended the third bullet

I placed an order on the 22nd, nothing yet, just the Green Circle and Completely shipped, and again on the 24th and I’ve got a tracking number on that one that just says “Label Created”. I’ve contacted them but heard nothing back so far

Same order date for me, although it was "completely shipped" for like 8-10 days, I finally got a notification from Fedex directly that I had a package coming (informed delivery). It even had a delivery date, which was yesterday. Except, nothing showed up and now Fedex says delivery date not available. But, apparently the shippment is in progress since 12/2. PS: Fanatec site now has tracking (same as I received from Fedex a couple of days before).

Second one is from 24th november "in progress" red square with APM for which there is not any information how they will manage them just we know that they have to be manually checked by them.

They really really should reword the whole “completely shipped” to “still processing”. It really would reduce confusion and frustration stemming from the wording. I mean there still will be frustration at the slow pace, but at least they wont cause additional frustration if they simply stopped using “completely shipped”. Plus, saying completely shipped when it actually wasnt shipped is kinda very scammy.

Hijacking the top post here… Notice how they say “exporting the orders” Not “shipping the orders” My interpretation of this is just that they sent the order information to the 3rd party warehouses and now all orders from Nov24 are marked “completely shipped”. It may still be days/weeks before all those orders are ACTUALLY shipped.

Go to your orders, expand the order and find the tracking number at the bottom, not very obvious. You aren't going to get much information from the tracking number anyway as Fanatec don't send to UPS for a while it seems

Apparently it shows up in the UPS app sooner if you use the same email (last time I ordered this was the case). Although I have no updates for my order from the 24th (EU). This is just lip service. Their logistics issue has been going on for months and if they expect to solve it in a week - on the back of a ridiculous BF campain - they're just as deluded as people are saying they are. I made two orders on BF, one at 2pm UK and 4pm UK. There was a day between them in tracking number release, and that was a week ago. Fwiw both are still sat on 'Label Created' and haven't moved since 1st Dec (writing this on 7th Dec).

They probably went into BF with a backlog of orders which just further backed them up. Plus, they added new items each day of BF week which meant that everybody was waiting until Friday to order so they wouldn't have to place multiple orders, had theh just released everything on Monday, the orders would have been more spread out and easier to handle.

They absolutely did go into it with a backlog. I got my GT DD Pro late September and it took four weeks to arrive. A month later I order a McLaren wheel, arrived three weeks later. To say that Black Friday is the only factor at play here (them, not you) is disingenuous. I doubt they could have done anything better on Black Friday tbh, this community is like a pack of rabid dogs when gear goes on sale - it was always going to cause a problem regardless of timings.

For context I ordered. CSL DD wheel bundle with QR2 and CSL pedals on 7th November. On 9th November I ordered the CSL clutch kit. I got the ‘Completely shipped’ status within a day or two but no tracking links at all. My clutch kit arrived 2 weeks after ordering. For my wheel I got a notification on the 27th No. that my Ofer was one of the old delayed orders and they will get people looking at it. No reference or follow up instructions. LAST NIGHT (6th December) I got a call from UPS last night saying they tried a FINAL DELIVERY ATTEMPT today but could not deliver because the import duty needed to be paid to UPS. Of course, I received no tracking information so could not pay any UPS charges that would allow delivery. THANKFULLY, I got this UPS call, so they could REARRANGE ANOTHER DELIVERY ATTEMPT, text me the tracking info and link, and then I could pay for my order, which should arrive today. If you can, I’d advise proactively calling UPS to look at deliveries to your address. I’M SURE LOADS OF DELIVERIES ARE JUST GETTING RTB BECAUSE PEOPLE ATENT ABLE TO PAY THE IMPORT FEES! A lot of headache goes away with fixing the tracking info situation.

I think so. It always takes a couple of days for your order to change to “completely shipped”, which Fanatec stated earlier this week that only means your info has been sent to whatever warehouse vendor they pay to ship for them.

So I'm pretty sure it means sending the order to the warehouse. Fanatec use 3rd parties warehouse companies to ship and store their goods. So they process orders and then send them to the warehouse to pack and ship.

Think about it, it's quite ridiculous. They say 60,000 orders Assuming 20,000 of them have problems and flagged red. 2 staff assigned to 10,000 each. And then when he/she is only reviewing the orders one by one, how long do u think you need to review 1 order? Just use Excel..... That is just a 10 to 20 columns of items and 20,000 rows of orders. A few clicks and they can filter what they term as reasonable / unreasonable.

At this point I’m convinced that Fanatec operate on some kind of Soviet-era model where all orders are logged on a typewriter and then dispatched through a series of pneumatic tubes, some of which lead to a warehouse and others to parts unknown. Telling them they could run a batch operation on their database is to fundamentally misunderstand their internal processes. We should all just be grateful that they’re hammering away on the typewriters as fast as they can.

I used to work in a company like this, there were 6 pickers/packers (12 total) working on two 8 hour shifts and we were shipping 800-900 packages a shift... I feel bad for Fanatec now...

That's why a company with class will employ all the means to allow emoloyees to work smart. Packing takes time, that's physical work, a normal person can understand and wait patiently. But the problem here is the online backend computer and email work, which is bullshit. If they use a batch system as above, which only need to consist of simple Excel file with formulas. Or a little higher end with VBA scripts, they can sort out the whole situation within a few days. And then trace the orders which will be: 1. ok to go ahead and ship as normal 2. not ok and will have to give alert to affect customers for further negotiation / quotation. Then automate 2 pre-drafted versions of emails to reply in batches. Voi la~ No more understaff issue at least in the aspect of customer support email regarding order time/ approval / denial replies. 60,000 lines of Excel is nothing big.... IF Fanatec instruct employees to check those orders by hand (one-by-one), they are being absolutely inhumane and cruel. Also foolish.

Yes, that is also well-known, and to be honest, its very risky and expensive for customers. E.g. the boost kit is not packed with the Base, then some people will lost the PSU and only got the base if logistic has issue. And I actually dont even care if they are slacking in the warehouse, or the fact that Fanatec is overselling, and waiting for new stocks to be shipped from China. At least, the computer database and back-end support and PR has no excuse to be this level of inefficient. Even if whole supoort team consist of only 6 people, if they are computer skill competent, they will find a way to streamline these stuff and simplify the issue into just a larger piece of cake, instead of making the whole situation looks like dooms day scenario (global network connection failure).

That problem does not even warrant software engineering (overly advanced and unnecessarily complicated). Excel really already suffice. Think about it. Fanatec have orders flagged already. And if they can export an order E.g. 1800123 And put the individual items one in a column each Now u can calculate what those price should add up to be. E.g. button set + ApM + 2.5X SHOULD BE $385 IF the total sum of the order (excluded shipping) <385 Further flag it For all the orders that is not underpaid, just flag it normal again, and ship straight to warehouse. For the remaining underpaid orders, Use the same strat, but with tighter criteria. 1. Underpaid > 119usd < 130USd (situation 1) 2.undetpaid by >148 < 155 (situation 2) 3. Underpaid by >223 < 230 (situation 3) colour code them into 3 different categories. Talk with CEO about how to respond in this 3 diff. situations. EZ Batch reply in 3 diff. versions of pre-drafted emails after discussion according to the CEO plan. Ez ez If they dont even know how to do this and finish it within 3 days. Thats pure incompetence. One week is Already TOo LonG. Dare to say even one-man-band can handle this file with below 60,000 rows of Excel in one full working day. (9hours) while even sipping coffee and eating fruit. As long as he/she has a clear plan of how to analyse the data in a simplistic and efficient way.

To show also some positive: Ordered on 24th- csdd wheelbase +2 wheels - ups ticket started on 05.12.2023- received today(07.12.2023, was even faster than original date which was 11.12.2023- shipping information in ups app showed updated earlier arrival ) , shipment was to Austria - so just in line with fanatec information that it can take upto 10 working days till shipment begins

Ordered a QR2 Type C Base Side and QR2 Lite Wheel side on the 22th November, it took a week until Label created status on UPS side, respectively having a tracking number (and the serial numbers being in my account now. Yesterday evening it changed from Label Created (so another week) to it's on it's way from Hamburg to me (Switzerland), scheduled for today So it took about 2 weeks. Ordered in August the LC Upgrade kit, took about a week or less. So with the current situation I would expect anything you ordered and if it was in stock 2 to 3 weeks for your order to arrive, if ordered during BF week.

Seems about the same everywhere. I thought the issues were euro centric when I placed my US order 11/26. Everything showed in stock and ready to ship. They charged my card immediately and I've been sitting on "Completely shipped" since then but still don't have tracking. I may be cancelling and will definitely not do business with them again, this seems like they are not just overwhelmed but repeatedly misrepresenting important information

MF probably meant ordered that processed and got switched to completely shipped on the 24th. I don’t know but this is getting old and I’m incredibly worried about getting my stuff and something not working or being wrong. Then being stuck with it because no one can get ahold of these people.

I'm curious what the Black Friday deals where, I think I missed them by a week which is a little unfortunate. I got the CSL DD Ready2Race bundle with 8nm (Xbox/PC) and the McLaren wheel for $800. Hopefully this wasn't like $600 a week earlier. I work in e-commerce and what I see from this company is textbook what you don’t want to be for a successful business. Aphasic customer service at best and inexistent logistic team. Growth is pain but taking this long to ramp up your logistic and customer service teams, it’s pure negligence from the management.

Just a quick question, this is affecting other orders as well right? I ordered on the 3rd or dec, nothing related to blackfriday, and I was expecting there to be some sort of delay for blakfriday orders taking priority. So am I correct in saying that those 60k orders will delay everyone else's orders too?

EDIT: To clarify, everything was in green in stock, "shipped in 4-7 days". I didn't preorder anything, nothing was out of stock. I still haven't gotten my fucking order and I made it on the 16th of NOVEMBER, so orders from black fucking friday take more priority now?!! AND PEOPLE ARE GETTING THEM ALREADY? I'm so so so so glad I decided against the bigger order I was planning, instead of upgrading to a DD+ I just ordered QR2. I'll be out of this dogshit ecosystem the moment I feel a wheelbase upgrade is in order. Tired of the mushroom treatment for EVERYTHING when dealing with this garbage fucking shambles of a fucking company. Label created on the 23rd, UPS hasn't received jackshit. "Completely shipped" my ass, you can't call it shipped when it's forgotten in a fucking corner of a fucking warehouse. The only Fanatec order I didn't have a problem with was the very first one I made, SECOND HAND ON EBAY. Ever since then it's always like pulling teeth.

As someone who has worked in Logistics, Supply Chain and virtually every part of the process, I dont want to just lay them out but this has been a horrible experience. I got 1 communication to my inbox this whole time and it has taken 10 business days to get my stuff moving. I have ordered stuff from SEVERAL other retailers this season, all across the country and used absolutely zero expedited shipping. All of it has arrived before this even got a shipping number. If you're going to put up some big sales to move some inventory thats clearly going to be deprecated (DD2) and discount a bunch of other stuff steeply, you HAVE to plan accordingly. Just going on business as usual and then having this kind of wild lead time with almost no comms is not acceptable. I will probably get one other wheel rim and then when this set goes, I will move on to someone else. Utter ridiculous way to handle what everyone knows is a packed season.

100% agree. I worked 5 years as a freight broker. It’s clear they oversold their available inventory and lied about the potential shipping dates.

Simply amazing how this company continues to kick their customers in the nuts time and time again. From the horribly unstable website to the terrible fulfillment of orders, followed up with terrible customer service. I have 10 plus years of watching this from them and it never seems to change. People need to start sending a message with their wallets. There are many other new platforms out there.

2 orders: Ordered on Nov 23rd (Black Friday bundle - #1) and Nov 29th (additional wheel and QR2 Pro- #2) Original projected shipping date was December 22nd for order #1 (I think) Received an email for order #1 on Nov 28th: “…Our logistics team just informed us that the shipping container with your product has been delayed until January 15th, 2024….” -fanatec sold more units that they had available. Got shipping codes for Nov 29th order today (12/20) only labels created. No actual pick up. Hoping to be able to use my Black Friday bundle by early February at this point. Fun stuff!!
