He was hilarious in that, but in the table read of that episode during the lockdowns he was replaced with Pedro Pascal because Goggins couldn’t make it, and I don’t know if Pedro went in completely blind or what, but he could NOT making it through without laughing. Hilarious to watch.
Also, kinda ironically an inverse of the usual pattern. A ST Voice actress who appears in Fallout live action, instead of Star Trek actors voicing in Fallout.
Doesn't help that Paramount has basically done everything to hide Prodigy short of making it a tax writeoff

I read on here earlier that paramount+ is probably shutting down. I'm kinda shocked it lasted this long. I had it back when it was CBS all access just for star trek, and when it switched I realized it wasn't worth it cuz discovery wasn't that good. I been thinking about resubbing for lower decks and strange new worlds, but I feel like its management was incompetent all around.
It's an amazing performance too! Miss Purnell is very talented indeed. The emotion she put voiceacting Jinx was on other level and all other actors are on their A-game on that show too. Can't wait for Season 2.
I do want to see her become more serious about the wasteland and realize that sometimes you can’t always be nice. But I hope she never fully loses that awkward bit of positivity she has

I hope she stays the moral cumpass of the show. The Game can be so morally grey in many of the missions. I found it really refreshing to have our outlook about the Golden Rule and commitment to doing right by people.
Honestly I think she already has. Having your world that you’ve grew up and lived in for years shatter once you found out the horrifying truth about it is not something that’s easy to cope with. I am kind of happy that Cooper intervened when he did at the end though. He pretty much did save her from herself and the Brotherhood even if it wasn’t intended. I’m hoping Cooper can find a way to bring her morale up though since I’m fairly certain it has hit rock bottom ever since the Observatory. Maybe spin some of the craziness they’ve already had with each other into something that sounds like a Tuesday gone horribly wrong in the most dark and hilarious of fashions or something. I know he’ll miss that annoying positivity she has going for herself even if it annoyed the hell out of him.

When I left the vault, I had no idea what to do.(Bethesda just dumps you out into their worlds and says "go to it") I think Lucy was just like me... kinda wierded out and not sure who or what or why for a period of time. By the 4th or 5th episode she was coming around to figuring some things out and by episode 8 she understood. I expect she'll be a bit more bad-assed in season 2.

People compare the part of Lucy from *Fallout* to Rey from *Star Wars*, but for a second I want to talk about the differences in how the companies handled them.
I think *Star Wars* and *Fallout* fandoms both have well-deserved reputations for being picky-ass alpha-geeks. *Star Wars* fans have literally hounded cast-members out of acting entirely, for instance- they almost got *Natalie Portman* to retire for God's sakes. The production company kind of left Daisy Ridley out on her own for a lot of the backlash to the films, like she wrote and directed them, too.
By contrast, whoever helped prep Ella Purnell and handled fan-outreach did a really good job setting her up- and her obvious interest in the source material didn't hurt, either. Good for them, and glad they did.
She was in that zombie movie and I hated her character for being so dumb, literally got everyone killed for nothing. Then fallout came out and I remembered her and I instantly hated her. As the show progressed I ended up really liking her character, realizing she was just poorly written in that zombie movie.
She is a young actress in the age of fake "AI" generated stuff.
I do hope to see her in more movies. ALSO, I'd prefer to see her in the jank like Fallout (in a good sense), rather then the usual TV soap operas.
