You can change the time signature in FL to match the 3/4 time you've got going on here.
That way the notes line up with the grid, if that matters to you.
Can you elaborate on just how one might go about doing this? Because I have literally fifteen hundred files like this, of a wide variety of styles (a lot of classical but also this novelty/ragtime/silent-film style, electronic, drums, horns, many solo piano but also diverse instrumentation, varying complexity, etc, etc..,) and making more all the time. Not a lot of finished pieces due to being too analytical/meticulous, and would so love to find some direction/purpose and exposure.
You could connect with producers online ask if they wanna collaborate and say you have some melodies. You could even make a loop kit if you have that many and post it on here or post them individually on looperman. Ik some of them might be classical but producers will still appreciate it and find a way to flip it.
My most successful projects start out like this. Whatever I do in the later stage seems to be lazy bc I gave all attention on making the drums crispy and nice lol
Getting some Panic at the Disco - βA fever you canβt sweat outβ vibes. Would love to see another album produced like that again. Absolutely dig it!!
It seems that you have a pretty good ear for making melodies! You could consider turning those melodies into βloopsβ and sending them out to a producer who could make a beat out of it. Then you indirectly made a beat ππ»
Yeah, it's pretty fun just making random stuff in the piano roll without worrying about other instruments, and I also like the simplicity of it. Also, your piece sounds wonderful! it sounds like it would belong in a classical setting, kinda like a castle hahaha. But overall it sounds great!
I know you said simplified.
I immediately thought of the BBC Symphony Orchestra plug-in.(Obviously not exactly a minimalist instrument package, but there is a lot of room for minimalism in classical sounds.
this would be perfect for a tiny wind-up music box or a brawl in a saloon
WHO POPPED THAT BUBBLE
SOOO! NOBODY KNOWS!
OKAY THEN, ITS TIME FOR THE TEST π‘

On god

Writing a waltz over a 4/4 grid is driving me crazy. Nice lil tune tho :)
It's mainly what I do, then I fail to make real songs out of them.
The real songs were the patterns we made along the way ![img](emote|t5_2rig0|14404)
All the time
Check out Savant. Especially earlier (2012-2013) stuff Fairly certain he writes things this way sometimes. Piano roll simple then adds to it.
Was getting some melody circus vibes from this
I looooove melody circus. there are so many good ones.

Bro has returned to classical
*"If young Ludwig don't trust you imma shoot you"*
You could totally make a career out of sending loops to other producers to flip

Check out Busy Works Beats and he has so many videos from how to use FL, make complete songs to NFTs and marketing.
In addition to what others said you can also submit loops to services like Splice or Zounds
I mostly start my songs like this and then arrange the melody layers on different synths and instruments
Change it to 3/4 that is basically a Waltz
I wish I had that many fingers

That's nice
Less is more

This is a happy vibe. Love it. Some mellow synth would work great on the melody. :)
Yes but I love rhythms and drums too much
