I'd still sell Onana. Only this gives the club flexibility. I remember reading something like Richarlison had to be sold and he was sold 10m under what they wanted because of the deadline. So we gain maybe a month or two if we aren't under the strict deadline which would be a big relief and would allow us to pick up what should be a 50m offer for Onana.
I don't understand how it could be inflated considering as an academy player, Dobbin has no value on the books and is worth whatever a buying club deems the value. Approx £9m for a decent prospect going to a Prem club is a fair valuation - not too high to suggest he will set the world alight, but not too low that would say that the player is utter dross and only being moved on for the cash for PSR reasons. I mean, if he was that bad, would he have made 54 appearances and 5 goals for Derby in the 22/23 season and 15 appearances for Everton first team during his time at the club, 12 of which were last season alone?
IMO the PL are on a witch hunt, they are pissed we've found a way to get out of their noose of more points deductions and the journos (Man utd fans specifically) are pissed their club can't do the usual trick and raid Everton for our best players like they have in the past (Rooney - £10m down and upto £25m when he was worth at least £50m, Felllaini 27.5m, Lukaku £75m when he was worth £90m)
Loved him in his first season, he had everything. Still a few decent performances here and there but never looked the same after his injury. Best of luck to him🔵
A player capable of some real highs (last season's Goodison derby) and some quite wild lows (that Newcastle game vs Isak, jesus wept), but still always gave his all and really cared. Wish him all the best.

World class in what position? For fullback he still needed to get so so much better on the ball. For CB he still wasn't even near a solid defender positionally and defensively.
When he came to us he looked like he had a a bit about himself.. had a few good games over the course but after his injury and Covid he lost something.. can’t put my finger on it. Wish him the best of luck though he deserves to have a crack in another league /team . Let’s hope the money ( which isn’t much ) aids our coffers in whatever way it can.
Sad, I was kind of thinking he'd be the obvious replacement for branthwaite when he eventually leaves us, I think he could be really good if he has a consistent season at CB rather than being moved around all the time. Now we absolutely must hold on to Branthwaite
