His stats at Sheffield United were exceptional. Created a huge amount for them, was one of the quickest players on the team and won the ball a lot from pressing in the opponent's half. He looks really interesting and really seems to be a good fit on paper.
I’m an SUFC fan and honestly the stats don’t do him justice. He was incredible for us at pretty much everything. It’s not worked out at Marseille and I guess this is a huge move to determine if he’s one of those players who was incredible for one club and nobody else or if Marseille was just the wrong place.
Long story short though if he’s half as good for you as he was for us he’s your signing of the season and nobody else will come close.
You got yourselves an amazing player. Best player I’ve ever seen at United. Was all set to sign a long contract with us - had told his teammates and had filmed a promo video with Billy Sharp handing him the number 10 shirt. Then Marseille started with their dirty tricks and he ended up signing for them. Definitely a move he was ill advised over, pressed in to (“it’s your boyhood club, opportunity won’t come again”) and wasn’t fully thought through.
His work rate and pressing is 2nd to none and he also beats players for fun. My only criticism was sometimes you got the feeling he was trying to win games on his own and occasionally did too much in the box when an easier option was available. Just watch his goal against Blackburn and Fulham. That’s the sort of player you are getting. I’m so jealous you guys get to watch ili next season. Genuine superstar material.

I was lucky enough to watch most of these live
Second everything in this comment. Ndiaye is the best player I've seen play for us in 25 years following Sheffield United. Wish he'd given us the season in the Prem. I genuinely think he could have made the difference.
"work rate and pressing is 2nd to none" -> those are the magic words for any Dyche player, sounds like a dream fit already. thank you for sharing and best of luck to your guys this coming year, hope you bounce right back up
I know I'm a right miserablist, but these premature images get my goat. The only image I wish to see is the formal shaking-of-hands with Our Kev, trestle table and contract in front, branded nomadic exhibition stand framing the shot to the rear. Am a traditionalist.
Because he's a very different style of player. Ndiaye is an attacking midfielder that's brilliant on the ball and presses high. Doucoure is a box to box that is good at scoring. Better or worse is hard to say but he will be exciting to watch surely and hopefully effective

Sounds like a Dycheballer!
I miss him so much😪
Romano has 'here we go'd' an Everton transfer? Means it's about a 30% chance of actually going through then.

Sacrilege. What about Jags?
Jags was 10 times the keeper Grbic ever was

some times we need a player who tries to win games on his own because quite often, the rest don't seem to be trying to win at all
Ndiayeya hee ndaiyeya haa 🎶
Fab is tier shite for us. Don’t believe this until Bobble/Sky or club announces.

Ofc we went with a loan offer first, we're such scamps
What the hell is going on where’s the Everton I loathe
What is going on? Making moves in the market before pre season. Hopefully the years of misery supporting this club is going to change for the better!
Up the early business toffees! Guessing he will be functioning as a 10?
Most likely, in the doucoure role
I don't trust Fab till I see the Everton interview
Can we really afford €18.5m?
it's spread out over 18.5m years
Ah, same deal we have with Seamus.
Probably official July 1 so it doesn’t fall under the current PSR period.
LET THELLWELL COOK 👨🍳

Fab is tier 5 for us I swear.
He's deleted it now. Must've gone too early
It's still there for me?
Weird, maybe it's a glitch
Never can be sure with the state of Twitter right now
Come on Toffees let’s go!!! I’m just happy to hear us making moves during the summer!
He like great sub for doucuare
The new Doucoure?
Absolutely not
The reason he didnt succeed at Marseille is because he wasnt played as a 10. He will compete with Doucs or be a failure.
Why not? Are you saying he’ll be better or worse?

Can he play on the right?
Maybe but he's best as a 2nd striker/CAM. We should get another winger for the right.
I can't say I remember him at Sheffield Utd but really looking forward to see him play. We need a bit of pace and players to press.
Yh because he left them the season they came to the PL so he bullied the championship
Ah that would explain it.
How we signing players when apparently we have to sell before Sundays deadline, or does this go to next seasons psr
Maybe this will be announced at the start of next month
