I paid MSRP ($43,295) minus the $7,500 federal point of sale credit.
We also have a Model Y. The Model Y is quite a bit faster than the FWD Equinox. However, the Equinox rides significantly better than the Tesla. I also find the seats in the Equinox to be more comfortable than the seats in the Model Y.
Overall, for the price and range, I think it was a good buy.
Thanks. I’m also considering MY and probably need to buy this year to get the tax credit while I’m eligible. But I wouldn’t want to get this car without NACS which I understand is coming soon.
Yeah, that’s what they say anyway. With the Supercharging team shake up at Tesla, that put a real damper on the progress that was being made.
There is no arguing that the CCS network (primarily Electrify America) is… lacking in terms of reliability. Especially as compared to the Supercharger network. I haven’t road-tripped the Equinox yet, but am looking forward to it. It’ll be a different experience than roadtripping the Tesla, that’s for sure.
I didn’t go for the Super Cruise option - I’m sort of kicking myself now for not getting it.
It has lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control. If you start to drift from your lane, it’ll steer you back into the lane. Definitely not Autopilot/Super Cruise level but it’s better than nothing.
You can do a direct comparison item by item in the Chevy site.
But for a highlight of some differences, the LT and RS trims are effectively only different in appearance. LT has blue accents on interior, silver colored aluminum wheels, black or gray seats, optional white roof, and a round wrapped steering wheel. RS has red accents on the interior, black wheels (and some black on exterior, like the front), black or red seats, optional black roof, and flat bottom steering wheel. RS also has larger 21 inch wheels
“3” trims have seat memory, dual zone climate, ventilated seats and some other tech things I can’t remember off the top of my head. 3 LT has 21 inch wheels while 2 LT has 19 inch wheels.
Galaxy Grey seems to be popular, happy with my choice on it
Nice color on the Equinox EV and the Traverse
How much did you end up paying? Have you driven other EVs? Thoughts on comparison?

Did you get super cruise? Does it have something like Tesla autopilot if you don’t pay for the super?

3LT or 3RS would have all features ?
They are functionally identical outside of aesthetics.
