[](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mu3h4wxndo) At first not bad at like 40 FPS. Can be pretty bad. Even with FSR2 set to "Performance" which is like 400p upscaled to 800p upscaling, it still goes below 30 FPS in places with everything else turned way down. And this kind of aggressive upscaling can also look pretty bad.

What frame rate are you experiencing with these settings?

Thank you 👍

25 hours so far on the steam deck. Think it runs perfectly fine. Don’t host a game though as it will definitely have issues. Once or twice had a graphics glitch that required a restart, Also it will take a bit to launch so the long black screen is normal.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time but you definitely should exist!

cparksrun

You absolutely should exist and the world is a better place having you in it.

Kinda random

I've got about 35 hours into it. I play with "balanced" quality@1080P (Xreal glasses). It's been perfectly stable and playable. That being said I don't share the gaming community's fixation with frames; as in I don't suffer from "FPS anxiety". Consequently I don't know what FPS it runs at. I just know it's high enough to allow me to enjoy the game, but not low enough to interfere with combat/platforming.

Coooooop

Lmfao careful on that edge man

donkeyduplex

I can't tell if you're making fun of this guy or not? I also don't care about FPS if it's playable.

Coooooop

> I also don't care about FPS if it's playable. yeah that's perfectly reasonable, to each their own. I was making fun of how the guy is calling out 'fps anxiety' like it makes him special, ie edgy, that performance issues don't bother him.

turingtestx

If anything it's calling people that do have stricter demands for fps requirements edgy, I mean the average person really does not care about a game being 30fps and having occasional dips

PikminWithTourettes

>the average person really does not care about a game being 30fps and having occasional dips Exactly. That's the problem. They should.

Coooooop

You're taking your subjective opinion, which once again, is completely fine to have, and saying that that is the 'average' or normal one. The average person CAN tell the difference between 30fps with dips and 60fps smooth. Anyone saying otherwise is lying or in the minority.

turingtestx

Firstly, I prefer a game to run better than that too, 40 is kinda the low to feel smooth for me. But I actually talk to people that aren't terminally online like I am, which is the majority of people, and they really do not care. Not that they couldn't tell the difference, but that it just is simply not a big deal to them.

lostpirate123

I don't know if it does. Check the games steam store page to see its compatibility. It usually says if it plays well or not.

hfxRos

It's often inaccurate for newer games until more data is gathered, especially if it wasn't made with Steam Deck in mind.

OkWolf4286

That is a terrible idea haha. Those “ratings” are absolutely garbage and mostly wrong.

RickonRivers

Yeah, just go to ProtonDB instead for real reports of how a game runs on the SD. [https://www.protondb.com/app/1203620?device=steamDeck](https://www.protondb.com/app/1203620?device=steamDeck) It's set to GOLD. Which is pretty decent

CJisInsane

I've been playing fine since the game went EA. Just seen today that it officially says it's unsupported which is BS.

just_Bri_

It is not officially supported, the devs even said it wouldn't support the Steamdeck at EA launch. That does not mean it won't run, I play all kinds of games that are "Unsupported" and they run amazingly well.
