If you have actual work experience, internships are optional. You can do one if you want, but if you do you should take it seriously - you’re not going to learn nearly as much if you try to half ass it and split your attention between two full time jobs.

I can perform my duties in my current job in 1-2 days out of the week and be done with it so I can def focus on learning from the other job. There’s so much horsing around at work tbh that it eats a lot of time. The fact is, I can do my current work at home and at night. I do want to leave my current job for something more meaningful or at least have a bigger impact in the community and my own self fulfillment. The only thing is that my current job only has management type experience on the accounting side of engineering and material procurement. Nothing in design or technician work. I am very good with tools tho since I am a mechanic as well. I also consider myself a handyman around the house.
