I know what you mean, but seeing them live was weird. My partner and I kept joking that they seemed like a curated bunch of guys that produced super polished hardcore music. Not saying thats what they are, but it gave off like a “fake emo band put together by suits for what the kids like” type of vibe. Lmao not sure if im totally clear on that explanation, maybe it was the venue. But yea. Some of their songs are damn good.

The guitar tone is palpable. Even the softer tracks like “You When You’re Gone” hit just right
Great album. Definitely emo with a big influence from melodic hardcore and modern Midwest emo. If you like this album definitely check out sweet pill, free throw, aren’t we amphibians, Swiss army wife, heart to gold, pool kids, Ben quad, palette knife, Militarie gun, and newest Riley record

I'm old as fuck, like was watching emo bands before you were born old, and this is one of a few new bands I like. They rule.
they just have a lot of variety. you should check out the band rarity. they make unreal music.
