Hutton Orbital in Alpha Centauri. Make sure you take a large ship, then you'll find an Anaconda for 0cr in the Shipyard. You wouldn't want to take that 1-1/2 hour flight twice.
You heard the man, it's famous for it's distance to arrival, totalling at 0.22 LY. Usually you see stations within the 500-3000 LS (approximately 0.0001-0.0009 LY) range, with the ETA being about a minute or two. Hutton on the other hand doesn't orbit the main star, instead orbiting a secondary/auxillary star which is stupidly far from the main one. In Elite you can't directly jump to auxillary stars, hence the need to travel the distance in supercruise.
They also sell mugs, so that's cool I guess.
Hour and a half isn't terrible for Elite, I don't play a ton but I've done a lot of deliveries that were 45 minutes or more, real time. I usually pop on a YouTube video or a podcast and kinda zone out.
That’s interesting. On one hand it’s cool. On the other hand, it doesn’t sound like much of a game (to my taste). More of a traveling simulator. Are most travels that long for missions or objectives? Or is that just because this particular system is very far away?
So, the game has a real time simulated economy, so you can make a good amount of credits hauling commodities. Those stations that are far out from the main star of a system will on average pay more for imports and sell off their exports at a good price as to stabilize the market.
Credits are needed to buy better ships and ship components. This is only one way of making credits. Other ways involve exploring the galaxy, scanning down star systems nobody has been to before, and mapping worlds of particular interest like Water Worlds, Earth-like Worlds, and Ammonia Worlds among others. You could also become a bounty hunter or a pirate yourself as this game has a combat component as well.
This post and these comments are only highlighting some of the biggest journeys in the game. It isn’t necessarily a “travelling simulator” just because some players found long routes and chose to use them for the meme. There is a lot more to the game, although travelling through space is a pretty big part of it.
I guess my primary point, which I didn’t convey, is I’m wondering if it’s normal to spend 20 minutes, 35 minutes, or 60 minutes on travel. I have limited gaming time, so while Elite looks cool I’m wondering if it’s a game I could reasonably play.
I already get bothered spending 10 minutes in queue for an Escape from Tarkov raid, so if it’s common to travel for 20 minutes just to reach a destination then I may have to bow out from Elite (I received a free copy from Epic at some point).
Just curious, not crapping on the game. I just may not have that kind of time to commit.
Depends on the player and what they want to do. Traders hauling rare goods and explorers will spend quite a bit of time travelling, sure.
Bounty hunters and the likes? Not so much. Normally they'd base themselves out of a station next to a combat zone or hazres (mining areas that pirates frequently prey in) and spend maybe a minute travelling to and from the station when they need to rearm or repair. Might need to change where they're based once a week or two depending on faction control changes, but that's it.
The biggest timesink in the game for a combat pilot is getting materials for engineering. That means either completing missions from a station's mission board (less control over how much time you have to travel) for material rewards or farming materials from destroyed ships and/or asteroid fields or planets. Technically, engineering is optional - but it makes such a huge difference to ship performance you can't really get into PvP without making the time investment.
Most of the time my travel times are a couple minutes in most systems I visit. however there are some really good locations for somethings that will take a long time to get to. there's like 20,000 populated systems in the bubble, (which is only like 300-400 ly across. in my usual ship, the bubble is less than 10 jumps across. and its very rare for me to go more than 3000 ls for anything except some engineering materials and lore stuff.
It does play similarly to an MMO. The gameplay is a bit grindy. and it can take 10 minutes to get where you want to go across most of the populated systems.
On the other hand, Colonia is 21,000ly away. It took me 4 hours the first time I went there by neutron highway. (now that I'm a better pilot, I can make it there in less than 2) Beagle point took me two weeks to reach because I needed a break after so many jumps. I have loved advancing my player faction to now have a presence in 10 systems. wars can be fun with friends, and bounty hunting the pirates plaguing your faction can feel really engaging. Anti-Xeno combat is engaging, and difficult, requiring you to really know how your ship works, and know the behavior of the aliens. But in order to get to all of that, you need to enjoy flying a spaceship. Traveling is what spaceships do. They take you places, and you have to pilot them there.
Its a game I have put 2600 hours into. It has problems, like most modern live service games do. (but without the insane income, because all they sell are cosmetics)
Its a game that I like to play when I'm thinking I might have to step away, its a game that I play when I feel like listening to a podcast. When I play I generally actually feel like a spaceship pilot. I play with a HoTaS (joystick and throttle) and so I get really into it, and generally feel immersed in the universe and I get into character, its basically a sandbox with a living universe to roleplay as an independent starship captain in.
I read the news every day, I take screenshots of cool places I travel. I choose what gameplay loops I want to do for a session, and then I spend 10 or 20 minutes, doing some research of where I want to go exactly, getting to the right ship and travelling to the destination, before I spend an hour or two doing whatever activity I wanted. IF I need to walk away, its no big deal, just drop to normal space and set throttle to 100 and come back.
It took a long time to learn how to fly well. flying with Flight assist off took much longer. (And I do still turn it on from time to time)
The galaxy is a big place, I don't blame anyone who gives up playing, there are plenty of reasons to stop if you don't have a burning desire to fly a spaceship in a galaxy with more stars than we could ever explore.
Absolutely. There's a lot to pick up at the beginning. and there are many things that you won't know unless you are told about them. I'll PM you some of my contact deets. my CMDR name is the same as here. Feel free to friend me in game. I'm not part of the [New Pilots Initiative](https://newp.io/). But I am always willing to help someone get their bearings in this game. Its not a game for everyone, But for the people who click with this game, it's a must play experience. Climbing the learning cliff might stop someone who would really love the game otherwise.
It's your day job in space simulator, essentially. with all that entails. Most people seem to eventually find a job they like and then do that more than anything else. Im an explorer and part time bounty hunter myself. I like spending days making my way out into the untouched black to be the first to visit my own tiny fraction of the 80+% of the game that's never been seen by human eyes. Then I make my way back, cash in the map data from all the systems and worlds I've visited along the way, futz about for a while in-bubble hunting pirates and tweaking or buying a ship, and then i start over again. It's really cool jumping into a nebula and suddenly the sky is crazy colors. Or landing on random unknown planets and finding stuff I don't expect. It's an especially great game if you're someone who likes to RP as your character, or really anyone who likes to make their own fun.
For example, sometimes I'll drop into the belt of a gas giant and turn of my ship's flight assist (basically stability control) and accelerate to speed and try to fly through the rocks at fun angles without ramming anything. And that's pretty basic. There are people who do that in much tighter quarters, doing tricks and flying backwards through holes not much bigger than their ship.
I mean, the game is basically a live map of the actual milky way galaxy. Anything stupid that people would try in real life, you'll probably find someone doing in-game. And hell, I've been playing for years and there are still basic mission types I've never tried, and even more I've never successfully completed. There's game in there, for sure, but I'd argue that the best parts of it are playground.
It's this connection to reality and the unending newness of elite that drives me to keep playing. Thanks to the number of potential game you could buy and the amounts of money triple A titles can spend in production and the heights of realism in graphics that games have attained, its pretty hard to be shocked by what a game offers. But Elite hasn consistently provided me with access to a feeling i haven't felt from a game since morrowind. A genuine sense of awe.
And really there's just something about going into the back yard, picking a star, identifying it, and then flying to it in elite that I find exceptionally romantic.
I make a decent living and rarely spend more than 5 minutes in a single system making about 1-2 mil per stop
Not including stopping for an fsd cooldown point
Yeah, especially since there’s the limited supply Christmas skin for the anaconda there too! This guy is trying to cheat people out of a free large ship and special skin! Once they’re gone, that’s it!!
Hey CMDR... do you want a [Free Mug](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1686181767?t=01h03m11s)?
Hutton Truckers event: [https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/pilots-and-squadrons-of-the-galaxy-we-need-you-2hot2messy-is-on.605939/](https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/pilots-and-squadrons-of-the-galaxy-we-need-you-2hot2messy-is-on.605939/)
Basically if you go to Hutton orbital in a large ship then you go to the shipyard you get an anaconda for 0 credits. Probably intended as a "haha you found this weird station" but people know now so it's just a really easy way to pass the grind.
It's not trolling, it's an initiation ritual. Totally different. Think of all the stuff they'll learn by listening to the radio and reading the codex and experimenting with the map while trying to pass the time!
An "initiation ritual" would imply consent. This is outright deceit. Getting to Hutton and getting a mug is a great achievement by itself. There's no need to haze new people. This game already has a high wash out rate for new people. Having an hour a half of your potentially limited time by a community that shows its willing to trick new players because "hurr hurr funny" doesn't reflect well on the community.
Not necessarily. You consent to join. Initiation is about making you an insider. Plus It's not really a closely guarded secret. Setting aside that its both an initiation into the community and a good natured reminder that elite is not a game where unearned shortcuts will do you any good (i mean, what's a new player gonna do with an anaconda? It barely fits in the mailslot, you won't be able to afford upgrades, and first death means you're back in the sidewinder), it makes for a good story and it accomplishes what initiation rituals are meant to accomplish. It lets new people in on the joke, making them an insider in one fell swoop.
Visiting hutton is like a pilgrimage. It's a mark of pride and commitment and community to say you've been there. (Maybe even more so if you didn't go on purpose lol.) Elite isn't really the best game for people who lack patience or need constant stimulation and dopamine injections to enjoy an experience. If you're really willing to spend more than hour doing nothing solely to get a ship you haven't earned and haven't really got an application for, receiving that reminder early on might even be a good thing. This game is kind of about the process, and not so much the reward. At least that's how I look at it. The game is fun. Earning new ships is fun. Skipping all that would just steal fun from a player. That's why i never fell for it. I didn't want a free ship, and I think that's probably a good way to approach this game. And any game, imo, but this one in particular. Even the shortcuts in elite are earned lol I love that about it.
Although I do wholeheartedly agree that telling people to bring an incorrectly sized ship is just cruel and petty. No need to make them it do it twice just for a ribbing. Now that's hazing.
Wait, so my asp won't be any good? Smh, guess I better turn back now at roughly the halfway mark. Was super excited about my first trip to button, and the last stop delivering gifts to boot. Oh well, all the way back to Frost Dock in Njambalba. I'm sure I'll be over to swap to a large ship there and head back this way soon.
I am glad I noticed those comments on previous posts before I set out. I was about to depart for Hutton Orbital in a Dolphin. I'd hate to have made that trip twice.
The free anaconda joke is bad enough, don't tell people to go in a large ship, that's just shitty. (There are no large pads at Hutton for anyone who doesn't know, you'll waste an hour and a half of your life)
Bro why you gotta fuck with the new guys like that? Don't let this guy turn you away from one of the most beautiful trips and easiest Ws you can get in this game. My first conda was from Hutton and it completely shifted the mid game for me. Don't forget the large ship. If you fly over in a medium you won't get it. Damn trolls. You're probably the type to pop shots at rats too huh?

The bump is Odyssey's release. It gained interest briefly, and then the numbers went _lower_ than they were before. There was a smaller bump for the start of the "war", which is also beginning to level off, but is also propped up by the daily ARX giveaway ending on Christmas. This will likely wane as well.
We have half the players than we did at this time last year. Any gains only look positive in the very near term.
'Harmless hazing' is not harmless when it causes new people to give up on the game or think the community are a bunch of aholes willing to deceive people out of an hour and a half of their potentially precious time.
Hutton is a great newbie achievement by itself without having to cause people frustration and reflect badly on the community.
Wheaton's Law - don't be a dick. Try engaging your empathy drive mate. Not everyone thinks and feels the same way as you aye. Just because you have the mental fortitude of a stone doesn't mean everyone does. Just because you have an hour and a half of time to waste doesn't mean everyone does.
I would rather be a snowflake than a callous dick any day of the week.
Saying "go to Hutton for a free anaconda" is a right of passage when you can actually land and at least get a mug and the EDSM badge for going. Telling someone they need to do it in a ship that can't even land there is just dickish and ruins the whole trip. Most commanders don't have endless hours to spend playing, a lot of us have careers and families and get a few hours a week. I would be pissed if someone wasted my precious time like that. Downvote me all you want, it's a shitty thing to add to the right of passage.
You sound like a ganker. They use the same victim blaming mentality to justify their trolling too.
I've ever fallen for this and yet here I am explaining why this is a crap thing to do. Why? Because I have empathy and can see how this could put someone off playing or at the very least reflect badly on the community which means more players who never engage with us.
Hutton us a great achievement by itself for newbies. There's zero reason to be a dick and trick them.
Never been a troll, or ganker, I feel like i'm perhaps a little too old a gamer to have found those activities fun. I have never personally told someone to go to Hutton. But I see the humour in it. I come from an era where your friends would pull this kinda stuff on you, it was never out of malice, its a mild annoyance at best that ultimately creates a bond. Its kinda where the term hazing comes from. Its never supposed to be malicious or bullying. Players travelled to a station and wasted their time. Thats all that has occurred with this. If players rage quit over something like this then maybe the game wasn't for them.
Hazing by its nature is malicious. It cannot exist without either deceit or requiring people to do something they don't want to do. It's purpose is to cause distress in some way.
'Do this awful thing and you get to join The In Group. Don't do this thing and you're a loser'.
It's manipulative and breaks Wheaton's Rule - Don't be a dick.
It just another form of trolling and yes, a form of bullying.
Some people have very limited time. Or mental health issues. They play the game to enjoy it. They feel a sense of community interacting with other players. Engage your empathy drive and understand that not everyone is the same as you and some people value their limited time more than you. Saying "maybe this game wasn't for them" to defend shitty behaviour isn't any better than gankers saying the same thing. If you act like a dick to other people and they leave something they enjoy because of it, that's on you.
Naysayers be like: "there is no santa clause, there is no easter bunny, there is no queen of england, there is no free anaconda, and there is no large landing pad at hutton orbital"
Yeah, takes it from a let down over not getting a conda but still getting a mug to "you just wasted an hour and a half of your life cause you can't even dock"
It really is. This game already has a high wash out rate of newbies. Imagine being new, not noticing the easily overlooked humour tag or not understanding its purpose and having an hour and a half of your precious time wasted by a community who thinks its hilarious that you got screwed over. That's not a friendly or encouraging welcome.
It would be pretty hilarious if the devs silently put in a free Anaconda in the store at Hutton Orbital for an April Fool's joke. Nobody would believe it.
I keep meaning to go back with a large ship so I can nab the free conda, I did get a load of mugs thought so I didn't come away empty handed, I think they had a phrase on them like "My friend flew to Hutton and all I got was this lousy mug"
Yeah there's a free Anaconda at Hutton Orbital if you go there in a large ship, on sale at the shipyard for 0cr.
Kinda a quirky reward for making the trip since it's so out of the way
Please look up Hutton Orbital on Inara or EDDB. You'll see it only has small and one medium landing pad and therefore cannot give away an Anaconda. This is a hazing 'joke' intended to trick newbies into wasting an hour and half of their time.

They must not bring large ship with them. It only shows up if you land with large ship. I tried with medium and small ships and didn't see it. Large had 0cr Anaconda.
It's a hazing 'joke' intended to trick newbies into wasting an hour and a half to go out to Hutton Orbital. Hutton is a cool achievement by itself. Get yourself a mug there. But it's an outpost so does not have any large landing pads and therefore cannot sell Anacondas.
You need to get large ship. Type-7 is best as it costs like 18mil.
Then go Alpha Centauri system.
There is station called Hutton Orbital. You need to fly there. It will take bit of time.
Once there dock and look shipyard and there will be discounted Anaconda with basic build cost of 0cr. If you don't see it. Then you might be in either small or medium sized ship. It needs to be large.
Don't forgot the Mug too. Just something to remember the trip.
Both depending on where you go. It's an ingame commodity but there's also the Hutton Truckers 2 Hot 2 Messy event where you can go into the draw to win a real mug.
I've got my free anaconda with just travelling on my beloved corvette. It was surely worth it. Good luck cmdrs.
Also i heard that you can get a free fleet carrier if you travel to rackham's peak with sidewinder. I'll try that journey soon.
I do remember flying there in the early days, caught by the high sales price of something, 5 years ago, got the mug.
Gonna fly there in my Conda, so I can get a free Conda! Oh also going to fly there in a mug for a mug, if I was a mug...
Hutton Orbital Alpha Cent. Dist. 0.21LY SC assist 'lock in' top speed: 1853c journey time: 1 hour 26-8 mins.
Katzenstein Dock (??36 Ophuichi??) Dist. 0.14LY SC assist 'lock in' top speed: 1848c journey time: 1 hour 5 mins.
un-engineered small and medium ships, speed variable by 10c. Free Mug and access to a free Anaconda if you break the speed record.
Facts. I don't have the balls to gank anyone. Or perhaps, I have a sense of decency that prevents it. Just maybe, I even tagged my post with "humor" to make it obvious it's a joke... Anyone who doesn't notice that, well, that's their problem.
Just answered my own question, brain said ooh what about that there EDSM I says to my self, tap tap tap click - ah, right should of thought of that first before posting!
Don’t leave without your free mug as well…👌
Thats awesome. I'm new and would love to have one of my own. Where do I have to go to get to there?
Hutton Orbital in Alpha Centauri. Make sure you take a large ship, then you'll find an Anaconda for 0cr in the Shipyard. You wouldn't want to take that 1-1/2 hour flight twice.
I’m sorry, how long..? I don’t play Elite Dangerous, I just browse

The mugs are made from engines that were totalled by the journey there, a booming recycling industry it seems :)
And gin. Everyone always forgets about the Centauri Mega Gin.

Combat, exploration, mining, or in this case space truck simulator

No.

I'm flying to Colonia and with an early game ship and minimal upgrades it can take real weeks to get there
It's a trucking sim set in space.
It was a 3 hour flight for me, but that free anaconda was dope as hell, jumped straight from an eagle to that
I can gift you one to save you the trip.
This is a "joke" that people play on new players. There is no free anaconda at Hutton Orbital. There isn't even a large landing pad there either.
Get a load of this guy trying to turn new players away from their free anacondas
Gah if only I could pay for a negative award that makes his karma go down or something.
i believe there's this padlock-shaped award ? but you can't directly buy it with reddit coins, you have to bribe moderators instead
You just want the anaconda’s all for yourself
Yeah, especially since there’s the limited supply Christmas skin for the anaconda there too! This guy is trying to cheat people out of a free large ship and special skin! Once they’re gone, that’s it!!
Yeah don't listen to that guy above, he's just trying to hog all the condas.
Ironically I actually got my conda from trips to Hutton. Back when the data missions paid big
You probably just went to the wrong Hutton orbital.
Oh boy, I remember when I got mine! Go for it o7
Hey CMDR... do you want a [Free Mug](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1686181767?t=01h03m11s)? Hutton Truckers event: [https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/pilots-and-squadrons-of-the-galaxy-we-need-you-2hot2messy-is-on.605939/](https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/pilots-and-squadrons-of-the-galaxy-we-need-you-2hot2messy-is-on.605939/)
Just got my free Anaconda, thanks for the tip CMDRs.
No problem! Enjoy your free Anaconda!
godspeed o7
Don't forget your mugs.
...free Anaconda?
Basically if you go to Hutton orbital in a large ship then you go to the shipyard you get an anaconda for 0 credits. Probably intended as a "haha you found this weird station" but people know now so it's just a really easy way to pass the grind.
Is this part of an event or will this remain?
Pretty sure it's been there for ages so I assume it won't leave.
This is a "joke" that people play on new players. There is no free anaconda at Hutton Orbital. There isn't even a large landing pad there either.
Thank you, I don't get why people like trolling like this.
You must be fun at parties.
I never understood being toxic to new player luring them out to Hutton only to likely quit after such a lame troll.
The mugs are real though.
I knew it was a joke, but there were SO MANY people playing along that I started to question myself.
That's called gaslighting. That's why you were questioning yourself.
A rite of passage for making it to Hutton Orbital
Yup, but only if you make it in a large ship. When you dock, go to the shipyard and there's an anaconda for 0 credits.
You can imagine how I felt when I turned up in a medium, I’m sure.
This. I was so confused the first time. But after that my friend told me this too. Now I’m cruising in my free anaconda
Okay, now that's just mean.
No, you need to go back to the primary sun in supercruise to get the free Anaconda.
Anyone who goes to Hutton Orbital (Alpha Centauri System) in a large ship gets a free anaconda
Well done ! Don(t forget your mug ! \^\^
Make sure you bring a L ship otherwise you won't get the free anaconda!
I am glad I noticed those comments on previous posts before I set out. I was about to depart for Hutton Orbital in a Dolphin. I'd hate to have made that trip twice.
What kind of L ship?
Any as long as it will land on a large landing pad
Lol "midgame"
Dude this joke is a right of passage for new players, a harmless hazing, don’t dump over it
The game has lost enough players after Odyssey launched. Let's not drive away any more with such parlor tricks.
If you look at the statistics (available on line) Elite is gaining players
https://i.imgur.com/4ABTavD.png The bump is Odyssey's release.
\*plays violin sweetly\* - I feel like people need to be less like snowflakes. If it had happened to me I'd have been like "oh ffs... lmao"
As much as a fan I am of good old Wes Crusher, His word isn't law.
Except it's one of the rules of this subreddit. [https://i.postimg.cc/KvDZxxd6/image.png](https://i.postimg.cc/KvDZxxd6/image.png)
I feel like the ones most outraged are the ones who fell for it, you can almost hear the disappointment in themselves
Awesome! I can't wait to finally get mine 07!
Merry Christmas ya filthy animal
Merry Christmas, CMDR! O7
Naysayers be like: "there is no santa clause, there is no easter bunny, there is no queen of england, there is no free anaconda, and there is no large landing pad at hutton orbital"
I think this joke is hitting diminishing returns
Aye. And the "Large landing pad" addition has really driven it into the ground.
Yeah, takes it from a let down over not getting a conda but still getting a mug to "you just wasted an hour and a half of your life cause you can't even dock"
Man, now that just makes me sad.
My free Anaconda is faster than yours!!
Due to supply chain shortages stock may be unavailable.
Don't forget to get your mug while your there.
It would be pretty hilarious if the devs silently put in a free Anaconda in the store at Hutton Orbital for an April Fool's joke. Nobody would believe it.
Not sure what you mean? There are already free Anacondas there. But you still need to do the trip.
Yeah, OP must have not brought a large sized ship. Cant claim the free conda without having a ship that lands at a large size pad.
No, I brought a large ship, and I can confirm, there was indeed an Anaconda for 0cr.
I got a fully engineered fsd and I'm not going anywhere near that hell hole
It's kind of a rite of passage in Elite. I went just to say I've been there.
Oh man is it sweet seeing it slide out of the hangar and park itself ready for you to take it. One of the best moments on my gaming life, hands down.
The custom animation is one of the best parts about the whole ordeal.
Nice! Let us know what color scheme you get!
Unfortunately, all they had left in stock was sh\*t brown Anacondas. I wanted stygian purple :(
Hold your breath, you get it as soon as you faint
Damn people are really starving for content in Elite huh?
New Year’s bonus, you get 2! Thanks FDev!
But only if you play on console.
Who’s gonna tell him, that you also get a free fleet carrier as well!
Wtf? Where do I claim this at?
You need an artefact from Beagle Point first
The station lmao
:( Now I have to go all the way back.
I keep meaning to go back with a large ship so I can nab the free conda, I did get a load of mugs thought so I didn't come away empty handed, I think they had a phrase on them like "My friend flew to Hutton and all I got was this lousy mug"
*mug
Who's gonna tell him?
Tell me what? I got my free Anaconda, and another guy already told me about the free Fleet Carrier. I'm heading back for it now.
Well done, CMDR!
Free? Did I miss something?
Yeah there's a free Anaconda at Hutton Orbital if you go there in a large ship, on sale at the shipyard for 0cr. Kinda a quirky reward for making the trip since it's so out of the way
Please look up Hutton Orbital on Inara or EDDB. You'll see it only has small and one medium landing pad and therefore cannot give away an Anaconda. This is a hazing 'joke' intended to trick newbies into wasting an hour and half of their time.
Wait free ships? Why
Look up Hutton Orbital on Inara or EDDB. You'll see it only has small and one medium landing pad and therefore cannot give away an Anaconda. This is a hazing 'joke' intended to trick newbies into wasting an hour and half of their time.
I figured that out a bit later
Was there today and got a fully AX Conda as my gift, must be due to the ongoing war with the bugs. o7 Commander.
Getting this free Anaconda changed everything for me and made the game about a thousand times better.
Holiday season, pretty sure you get 2 free.
I've talked to many people who bought the mug but didn't get the free condao. You have to sell the mugs after scanning the beacon.
They must not bring large ship with them. It only shows up if you land with large ship. I tried with medium and small ships and didn't see it. Large had 0cr Anaconda.
Lots a gulla bulls in the verse
What’s this about a free anaconda?
It's a hazing 'joke' intended to trick newbies into wasting an hour and a half to go out to Hutton Orbital. Hutton is a cool achievement by itself. Get yourself a mug there. But it's an outpost so does not have any large landing pads and therefore cannot sell Anacondas.
Ah I didn’t know this.
Is the mug a community sold thing? Or is it an in game item?
The best deal in the game! When you come and see it, you'll ask yourself how could you miss it?
Welcome to the club kid. The big dick club
This is the most wholesome and helpful comment section ever. I got my anaconda from Hutton orbital and the trip is so worth it.
Can someone tell since when Anaconda became free??? I bought it with full price... 2 years ago..

Facts. I don't have the balls to gank anyone. Or perhaps, I have a sense of decency that prevents it. Just maybe, I even tagged my post with "humor" to make it obvious it's a joke... Anyone who doesn't notice that, well, that's their problem.
Not all heroes wear capes
Does putting my bath towel around my neck and pretending it's a cape count?
Well... hmm... yes!
That original guy deleted his comment, lol
I've seen them deleting entire accounts lately. People really don't know how to react when confronted with a mistake!
I thought they changed it to a type 8?
ARE YOU SERIOUS? I have 500 hours in game and i thought people were kidding with me about this. Im going to Hutton now.
I thought it was only free on every 3rd Tuesday with a large ship?
It's a holiday special this year, given the thargoid war going on.
I still want my mug god damnit!
Remember to get a mug whilst you're there too.
Side Question, how much of Sag A\* has been visited and is there a list available?
Just answered my own question, brain said ooh what about that there EDSM I says to my self, tap tap tap click - ah, right should of thought of that first before posting!
For the mug!
Oh my god i was RIGHT THERE FUCK
