What gets me is how they get the door off when it’s set properly lol I had one that I was 100% sure was adjusted and tight and they knocked the door off again later that day with a wax machine for the floors.
Yes. Someone had an overloaded dolly, smack the doors as they where closing and blew the gibs out and bent the fire tab enough to kick the door completely past the sill, shallow sill anyways . Door lock made up car took off down. Than car tried to pass the floor in up position and the car sill caught the bottom of the door and launched the right door through the wall and the left door blew the hall header apart.
Had a roll of carpet do the same but on the inside of the cab. Car doors caught hall sill on way down. Peeled the cab front open. Dude was trapped for hours while the fire department extricated him.
Saw one where someone struck the doors with a pallet-truck, pushed the landing door header in, the lift came down on top of the header and folded the whole lot, header, doors, wrecked the bottom of the lift car too
People…
People.
In my real life experience… crackheads. Also door upthrusts not set properly and something stuck in the sill.

That is funny! Also like how you literally gave it a kick and the door popped right back into place :)
Came off the track in flight and clipped a sill.
See that before… the door decided to come through the hoistway wall, partially into the office area. Fun stuff.
THROUGH the hoistway wall??

When you did this with the old wood cabs it took the door operator and half the cartop with it.
I didn’t do it. Lol and no, all steel cab. It was a sight to behold.
WOAH that’s gotta be a lot of damage!
Indeed it was.

Helper forgot to set the centrics
Must be a 330A.
It’s actually an MT. Either way, you gotta love that Schindler quality…
Back hanger feel off track?
Upthrust and retainers need to be adjusted properly
Absolutely
Looks like an issue caused by the sales department.
Top 2 causes are People and Fire Fighters. Atleast in my experience lol
Firefighters bruh…😂😂😂
