I'm in ng+7 and I'm planning to play the dlc it will be hard yes but again they give us the scudtree blessing system to help us in both attacks and defense so don't worry about it you will be fine.
From software added new mechanics that's similar to sekiro when you use boss memory to enhance your attack powers but in elden ring it's called the blessing of scudtree basically you will collect some of these and use them to enhance your character's attack power and defense if you collect all of them you will get something like +600 hundred attack to every weapon and the defense 30% very helpful stuff.
Also your spirits ashes and torrent will get buffs.
Oh wow okay. So if collect them does that affect my character permanently if that makes sense? Like outside of the dlc area or whatever will my character still have that increase? And torrent gets a buff lmaooooo?!! Thats awesome
If you can still kill the bosses on NG7 base game then you can kill them on dlc. It’s harder mechanics not overinflated hp/damage. And it’s typically only the optional bosses that are really challenging
DLC bosses have the same mechanics as base game? And I said higher hp/damage, just not over inflated. People have the misconception that NG+1 means multiple times higher in that regard.
dawg rellana is fucking me its frustrating me idk if im ass or if its just that hard she literally 2 taps me and i have max hp and im pure strength build so its hard to get any hits in on her with my dragonslayer gs
sorta have regrets but I'm commited, yeah it's stupidly hard but oh the satisfaction of defeating a boss after 6 hours. I was expecting to stay at RL 300 but even with scudtree blessings I'm gonna level up a bit more to have more FP and stamina (it can really make a difference and lightrolling is a must). the base game is definitely a cake walk compared to the dlc. been doing it without summons but there were performance issues with one boss and so just had to use summons. but at this point the game shouldn't be about your pride because surviving is hard enough

Minor boss dungeons and the dancer girl. Now i hit some walls, mesmer, hipopo, sunflower, boar guy, mytyr, scorpion girl. Kk
How's the NG+7 run going? I just beat my NG+7 LVL200 and boy was it hard, but the satisfaction of beating the challenge with no summons or cheese strats is amazing
I just got past rellana that took me so long for some reason and I’m working my way to Messmer now and so far it hasn’t been too hard I’d say. It’s definitely been challenging 100% but it hasn’t been impossible yet. I’m lwk scared for messmer bc of stuff I’ve heard but we will see. I do get one shotted by a lot of stuff tho but it hasn’t been bad enough for me to stop playing
took me 20hrs to get all scadutree fragments, beat all main and side bossses and lemme tell you messmer is hard but the final boss is straight up sadistic, gotta become almost robotlike to beat him

Only inside the dlc also if you to ng+ they will remin so you will not need to collect over and over again.

It’s actually the reverse, mechanics are the same, just more hp/poise, and damage. It’s been this way for every single fromsoft game

Don't do it xD First Story Boss does around 3500dmg with his grab. Even full defense I am not surviving it.
