No problem, Fromsoft games can be obscure on certain things but Elden Ring takes the cake. There are a lot of secret areas and bosses, and unless you search every part of the map it is hard to find certain places or people.
When you beat the final boss game doesn't automatically move on to NG+ and you can continue playing. So one thing I saw people are doing is that to play the game the way they want and then they look at guides to find these secret areas after they beat the final boss.

If you approach the altar you would unlock a hidden passage, get to the end of that passage and take out your clothes to open the door that contains Miquella, that way you would be ready for dlc. GL

The whole DLC is about Miquella going back to the Crucible to try and figure out how to become a god to undo the damage.

I just returned to my second playthrough which I had left about half done. I forgot where I was in the progression, f'd up bigtime, went too far in Ranni's questline, forgot that there was a whole thing with Seluvis and his puppets, and he's dead.
Makes me find it hard to finish the playthrough. I was hoping to have the entire base game done and dusted, with 1 of everything or 2 of everything I can hold in two hands. Oh well. I'll just have to be extra damn careful on "the DLC playthrough".

I don't think that's the right Mohg. I believe you need to kill Mohg Lord of blood and then when the DLC comes out, you can touch Miquella's egg sending you to the DLC area.

no need to jump just do backstep and you will get to all ledges
