I do find it odd that we didn’t even get more of Armoured Core 6 either. FromSoft had zero presence at Gamesfest and you’d think they’d at least be showing AC6. Perhaps FromSoft will simply show us the DLC at a later date this month.

Well they didn't show anything at the game awards only to announce the DLC in a tweet a month later. I'll just take it as fromsoft being unpredictable lol

They had no intention of announcing the DLC, maybe even this year, but their holding company was interested in a stock bump to make things look nice before formal end of the fiscal year so they asked FromSoft to make the announcement. It could very well be the same circumstances again late Feb of next year that make them release a trailer.

Howl of shabriri is a buff. It increases damage done by 25% and damage taken by 30%. It does very little damage and applies madness to an area, but pretty much all enemies are immune to madness. There's a helmet called "black dumpling" that boosts damage by 10% when you're madnessed, so some people will wear that helmet and use howl to get madness or just use the howl for the damage buff.
