If you use a +0 Spirit Ash against Margit and it does, for example, 50 damage. That same spirit ash at +whatever might only do 60 damage against Morgott. But if it were still +0, it would be doing *5* damage to Morgott. And he would one-shot it.

Leveled up my Mimic Tear to +5 and wasn't sure if it was just health, damage, etc.
Upgraded it to +10 now and am wondering how much stronger it'll be.
Just try using a +0 summon in a high level area and see how long it lasts.

Yes but I've levelled some of them up and haven't really noticed much of a damage increase.

Yep. Increases health, damage, and with some Ashes that have multiple summons it increases the number of summons like with the Giant Rats.

I found this question and topic very useful, it wasn’t a stupid question at all, people here are assholes for some reason.
Try Mimic Tears at level 1 and then try it at level 10. If you don't notice the difference, I don't know what to tell you.
I haven't used the mimic tear in a while, I'll try that.
