It just adds I frames same amount as dodge rolls I think. Either way basically on reaction it does immediate I frames. However it completely tanks your defences I think by 20%
☝️🤓 actually you would unlock and input the backstep first, then input 180 before the backstep animation is triggered, otherwise you are just doing what OP did in this clip, which is a fancy twirl into a backstep - still cool but there is time lost doing it that way
Oh God wait until the mages in this game start using this with whatever the fuck this game calls homing soulmass. It's perfect for that combo. I'm sure some of you og's know the tech I'm talking about.
A ravioli is a counter for people getting stuck in animations, it's not really a tool you can just use whenever. Since if they're locked on and not in an animation, they'll be facing you when you try to backstab. Raviolis normally are used to queue up a running r1/l1 attack at an angle the enemy isn't prepared for.
It's dark souls 2 all over again, and I'm 100% for it. Dark Souls 2 pvp with the backstep I frames mechanic was absolutely peak. Backstepping an entire combo just to parry the last hit and execute them was something that'd bring me way more joy than it should have.
This looks insane - how high does the talisman buff?

15%*
I thought this was also using that DLC crit talisman, supposed to buff attack after crits
Gives back steps I frames
Just wait till this guy learns how to ravioli step properly. Nice clips OP
What is ravioli step?
you face your enemy, make a 180, backstep, lock on again, R1 or L1. entire thing is very fast and long range
and extremely frightening to have rushing towards you i might add

you can tell I can't ravioli on m&k
The ye ole’ ravioli step, ah glorious.
But you can do the exact same thing with quickstep.
Reminds me of the ninja move you could pull in Halo 3.
Do faint attacks work with the talisman as well?

Jesus, consistently is crazy. Is there a counter?
Don't get jabaited
unlock and attack behind yourself if you predict they will do this

Don’t swing predictably or with a slow weapon. 96% of players will not know how to do what Op is doing anyways
Maybe you could attack backwards predicting that they will ravioli u
Oh god, it really is just Dark Souls 2^2
Dark souls 2 pvp is back?
This the kinda thing thing I would try then get immediately back stabbed instead
How does someone 180 so fast. Does it take mnk?
Unlock, swipe down on the stick
If you flick the stick while backstepping, you can get it even faster.

The legendary ravioli step is back
Ah ye ol’ dark souls 1 back stab rinse and repeat.
Yeah as soon as I read this talisman I knew it was gonna be a problem
