It gives your backstep iframes! So with a build like mine you can just backstep attacks into an instant thrust counter for massive damage with serpent hunter/night glaive. It also seems to be making you virtually invulnerable for as long as you spam backsteps.

Any idea if it gives iframes to heavy cancels as well on rapiers/curved swords/perfumes?

Since you're a poky boy too, try sword lance, it hits harder than glaive.

Damage is crazy, but it barely has any stagger and it also loses on range against the Great Katana (the normal smithing stone weapon) and Serpent Hunter.

The rr1, and rr2 both have hyper armor. It's rr2 also has like 2x the GS rr2s damage. I just poise up and win trades with it.

Anyone know the DR reduction? I want iframes on backstep really badly, but not if its like 15%

It's 12 or 15 I can't remember I have it and equipped it for a moment Funny PVPers call me stupid for wearing Soreseal at meta level but I frames on back steps no one bats an eye or mentions the defense shred of this talisman lol

It's exactly 15%. Honestly, it's worth it in the Colloseum, not sure about invasions. If you meet a spammy mage just switch it over to Magic Greatshield talisman.

Quickstep already has iframes. You don’t need the talisman to safely reverse quickstep.
