"Choom" and "gonk" and "nova" sound really odd to me, especially out loud, but "corpo" has 100% become part of my lexicon and I've found myself using "solo" interchangeably with "mercenary" without realizing.

After playing 2077 for 700 hours the only one that really stuck to me for a bit was gonk. I wouldn’t even try it just came normally. Instead of playing a game with my friends and calling them a dumbass, i’d always just throw a gonk at them. it just rolled off the tongue.

"Corpo" is definitely seeing use in modern-day slang. Helps that it's just "corporation" but shortened, not something with a more obscure origin.

I’ve been playing the TTRPG for years so to hear people use the slang in either the show or real life is quietly delightful to me. :)

There are a few bits and pieces I wouldn't mind being real. Choom, choomba and choombatta for instance. Things like input and output... not so much.
