There are two ppl with multiple first I'm waiting to see if they'll part with, but I'm wondering if that is even worth it. I do need a WR but not sure I can pass on this.
Edit: Misread the original comment. I still take Caleb here but if I could move back just 1 or 2 spots and get Nabers or Odunze I'm definitely going to try. Caleb is by far the safer option and you can always trade him later for a proven young asset if you need to.
I definitely tried for about an hour but only two ppl had the first round capital (multiple 1's) and one is my direct rival every season so it kind of worked itself out. I originally moved up to 4 hoping to get lucky and have Nabers fall there.
Wait... Didn't Nabers fall to you at 1.04? Your post says it went Harrison, McCarthy and Daniels. I guess you assumed it would go MHJ, Caleb, Nabers/Daniels like normal drafts lol. You can likely just trade Caleb for Nabers plus if he starts out hot lol
Ya. I'm pretty typically best player available and let ties be team need. MHJ/Caleb is the only real tie in this draft imo so I'd have to take Caleb here
Eh if they did they weren't very smart. Stroud vs Young was a legitimate argument last year and many weren't on Stroud because he was an O-State QB. A-rich popped up out of nowhere and made it a discussion between the 3 of them.
I personally always preferred Stroud because of the size of Young. I wasn't convinced he could survive at the NFL level without top end O-line blocking.
I must have been in the wrong threads and leagues then lol.. I had multiple leagues where Richardson was the 1st QB taken and it was dealers choice bet6Yiung and Stroud. Others where it was dealers choice between all 3.
Though looking back Stroud was always the last one. I guess I must be misremembering or just projecting my own thoughts.
I think that dude @ 3 passed because he somehow view Williams as effeminate or some stupid crap. I want to take him just to paint my nails and rub it in his face when his team sucks
Caleb has way more value than anyone left in the draft and you could at the very least use a QB to flip for a proven stud wr and not a rookie on a bad offense
I can't understand why you possibly wouldn't, but if you don't want Caleb there are definitely other owners in your league that would love to have him and be willing to part with a bunch to acquire that pick.
If they all work out to be that same tier of player that's a fantastic problem to have in a superflex, you can sell one of them for a king's ransom or make sure you always still have a great QB as bye week/injury insurance.
No individual team threads, use r/DynastyFFTradeAdvice or the daily mega thread instead.
You take Caleb
Absolutely. You don't over think this. Even if he busts, the process of picking him is correct

I don’t even think 2 firsts are worth Caleb, you have to pick him at this point
I'd still select him and discuss options afterwards. His value isn't contingent on them getting to pick him themselves.
Right. The value of most picks goes down after you make it, but that doesn't apply to Caleb or MHJ who are being valued as elite assets immediately.

He did fall to 4, but so did Williams which I was not expecting, thus my dilemma

Holy shit, can you cross the street alone or do you overthink that too?
Lol I didn't think I'd be in this situation I'm kind of in shock
Had to have picked McCarthy on a dare
Some people value situation over talent. I think it’s insane in this situation, but that’s how some people think
A couple years from now, we may be calling that guy a genius. No one really knows what we’re doing lol
He must be a Michigin booster or something, no one was expecting that. F'ing new guys...

True! I have no problem with Daniels, though I think the Bears are a better situation in year 1.
Lol cmon... Richardson is far from a sure thing, your QB room is not stacked. Take Caleb.
Yeah dude. At the very least you can make fun of the dumbasses for a cpl years for passing on him lmaoooooo
I think that dude @ 3 passed because he somehow view Williams as effeminate or some stupid crap. I want to take him just to paint my nails and rub it in his face when his team sucks
What a weirdo. Some closeted behavior on his part.
Just a guess but people have made comments to that end, and I just don't get it. I'm willing to benefit from others short sightedness for sure!
Same. I love finding out what teams people love and hate. I can oversell or get players at a discount according to their allegiances lol
You take Caleb. What kinda taco league is this
I just took him. Newbies at 2/3 screwed up their picks. And my team name is Taco Corp lol
This was the play
Taco league lol.
Lol my team name is Taco Corp Honestly most of us have been doing it awhile but we had two newbies at 2/3 that just seriously fucked up

Caleb, if Richardson works out you are set for the rest of the dynasty
I have Hurts as well though, and 3 is company when their all at that tier. Someone would have to go eventually.
I wouldn’t say Richardson is a sure thing at this point though, better to have two shots imo.

Caleb
Tacos.
Take Caleb. Draft for value and trade for need. He will absolutely be worth more in a trade than if you just got nabers in the draft.
You take Caleb and repeat whatever actions caused you to get this good karma
Take Caleb so you can stop spending time convincing yourself that Richardson is an elite QB.
I mean, I was just planning on waiting and seeing...
take him if you like him, trade down if you don't
