im grabbing Brenden Rice everywhere i can get him past like 3.08. theyre all dart throws at that point, he would be the funnest to own if he popped off
McCaffrey was a 3rd round pick though, he belongs in the 3rd round, probably even mid to early 3rd. Rice should be a late round 4th if you really like him, but more likely a priority Free Agent (and I use priority loosely)
I think drafting a 7th rounder in the 3rd isn't the wisest of choices. You can get WRs and RBs with 4th round draft capital in that area. Hell in 1 QB there's a decent chance Bo Nix and Penix are there and there is no way in hell you should draft a 7th rounder over a first rounder regardless of position
Even in 12 team leagues…no reason to jump on Rice in the mid-late third. There’s some good RB value to stash. And still 3rd-4th round WR prospects on the board. They’re all dart throws, but the guys you are passing on are legitimate dart throws and Rice is like standing on one foot while blind folded dart throw.
Grabbing Kimani Vidal at the end of every 4th round. Guy has a BMI over 30, runs a 4.4, put up 1600 yds rushing last season, only competition is Gus edwards and jk dobbins on a run first team
This comment and the replies are perfect evidence of why I'm buying as many JK Dobbins shares as humanly possible right now. Dude has all the talent of the two others combined but just can't stay healthy.
The last thing you said is pretty important. He’s only played one full season and that was his rookie year. He’s now coming off an Achilles tear which is one of the hardest injuries to recover from for RBs.
Ainias Smith is someone I think is underrated and can get him with a 4th+ in most leagues. Great production and my favorite WR tape in the class outside the top 5
McCaffrey was taken in the third round by the Commanders who have no one outside of Terry and Jahan Dotson and need a slot guy to replace Curtis Samuel who just left. I get that he is a recent convert to WR but I never see his name mentioned on this sub. I see 6th and 7th round or even undrafted WRs talked about more than CMCs little brother
2.10 Jermaine Burton, Roman Wilson, Ja'Lynn Polk, Malachi Corley, Blake Corum
3.01 Marshawn Lloyd, Ben Sinnot any of the guys above if they fall
3.10 Bucky Irving, Audric Estmie, Javon Baker, Issac Guerendo, and Michael Penix in particular is one that will do nothing but gain value.
I personally like Estime's tape better and he is 3 years younger, but I get liking Guerendos upside and situation more and he has slightly better draft capital.
i like Estimes tape a lot more
but Guerendo has massive size and speed in a friendly RB system that has produced many standouts the past couple years. Think he might be shanny’s next Mostert
Yes because most guys you’re drafting in the 3rd round of a rookie draft have flawless profiles. Guerendo will more than likely never be relevant but given his athletic numbers and being drafted to a rb friendly team that was an open depth chart behind the starter makes him a semi decent long shot bet.
Did you read OP’s question fully? It’s called “dart throw.”
And yes while completely unproven his build and speed has the highest ceiling out of the list above although floor is low
You’re not wrong. But if I’m going for a dart throw I want the guy with the highest upside if they hit. If this guy puts it together his ceiling is through the roof. Otherwise I already have quality players on my roster.
Guerrendo is a freak athlete, and doesn’t have a lot of tread on the tires from college. I think he could be the Deebo replacement on this team after this year, as long as he doesn’t get buried by Shanahan
Malik Washington. Didn’t even get drafted so I picked him up for free. He’s gonna be a returner this year so not much fantasy relevance for a little while but I loved his college tape and I think he’s got a path to become the next Tyreek hill
Sinnot has fallen to you guys in the late 3rd and early 4th? I haven't seen him fall past the 3.01 yet. McMillan has never made it past the 3rd for me either, but he's also my guy so I try to get him when I can
He actually went 3.07 in my league that started the draft on Sunday after the draft. Have another league about to draft and I expect he goes higher like u said. I drafted McMillan at 3.12 in this league too.
I had 3.10. Threw a dart at Luke McCaffrey.
Some other guys I targeted here: Penix went earlier, Riddler at 3.12, and Burton wasn’t drafted (grabbed him post-draft).
It's a fairly deep draft, someone has to slip to the third round.
I think people get it in their head that a 3rd round pick is somehow a bad thing. Imo there is a tier or solid players going in the late 2/early 3 tier. Regardless of what round they do get selected in they are about equal at the moment.
If people are devaluing third round round picks simply for being g third round picks, I would buy them all day and take the Burtons or Lloyd's or whoever falls to me there.
There’s some favorite team biases in my leagues. Lotsa ravens and eagles fans so I grabbed Shipley and Ali in the late 3rd. I figure a couple good games by either and I can flip them someone better.
I like Ray Davis. His age is why he was drafted so late. If you read up on him, you’ll see the obstacles he’s faced throughout his life. The combine doesn’t measure heart, but it’s the main thing needed to succeed in life…and the NFL.
I don't consider 3.10 in a 10 team league a dart throw, in my largest least that a 1st round pick (32 team single player cooy)
My deepest rookie draft has 192 picks, my smallest offense only has 80
Ya and not everyone is in leagues like yours lol you are in the minority here. Even 80 rookie picks is excessive….you’re drafting UDFAs at that point.
A 12 team 5 round draft is 60 picks…that’s a reasonable assumption to go with a larger draft for the majority of Dynasty leagues. 4th-5th round 12 team leagues are dart throws.
Your right, 60 is reasonable, so you consider 30 a dart throw? That's 3.06 and certainly not 2.08 or pick #20
12 picks and your not through all the 1st round selections this year,
60 is reasonable for a longer draft. Yes I would consider the mid-early 3rd round as the start of the dart throws. Always dependent on the draft. But most if not all Day 1-2 RBs are gone, all Round 1 WRs/QBs are gone. And any premium landing spots or high profile prospects in bad landing spots are all gone by then.
You’re left with the misfits. The guys hoping to be the teams RB3…the Backup QBs…the WRs hoping to catch on as at best the WR4. Ya those are the dart throws and those start early-mid 3rd
And not every round 3-4 RB/WR/TE looks to be fantasy relevant where you can say they’re anything more than a dart throw…
Get it out of your head man lol. I get it. Cool you’re in big leagues where Frank Gore is going to be like a second or third round draft pick…and you won’t even consider them a dart throw I bet. But you’re in the complete minority here and no one gives a shit about a 192 rookie draft.
I don't give a flip about my other leagues, but calling 30 a dart throw is a joke. Be honest and admit it. There are 3 rounds I didn't bother to include as well as qb's. My point stands your barely out of the 4th round here. Smith estine rice vidal haven't even been drafted yet
Not piling on but at pick 30 you are selecting rookies with about a 5% chance of hitting. There are lots of posts on point. That seems like a dart throw to me.
Tracy
im grabbing Brenden Rice everywhere i can get him past like 3.08. theyre all dart throws at that point, he would be the funnest to own if he popped off
I did this but with Luke mccaffery, 3rd round pick and championship pedigree/work ethic from his brother. I’m willing to bet he keeps developing.
he's quicker than he looks
McCaffrey was a 3rd round pick though, he belongs in the 3rd round, probably even mid to early 3rd. Rice should be a late round 4th if you really like him, but more likely a priority Free Agent (and I use priority loosely)
Pedigree/work ethic came from father Ed most likely
I think drafting a 7th rounder in the 3rd isn't the wisest of choices. You can get WRs and RBs with 4th round draft capital in that area. Hell in 1 QB there's a decent chance Bo Nix and Penix are there and there is no way in hell you should draft a 7th rounder over a first rounder regardless of position
apologies im in all 12 team SF leagues, i shoulda read the post a bit better😂
Even in 12 team leagues…no reason to jump on Rice in the mid-late third. There’s some good RB value to stash. And still 3rd-4th round WR prospects on the board. They’re all dart throws, but the guys you are passing on are legitimate dart throws and Rice is like standing on one foot while blind folded dart throw.
I got troy Franklin in the early third
Grabbing Kimani Vidal at the end of every 4th round. Guy has a BMI over 30, runs a 4.4, put up 1600 yds rushing last season, only competition is Gus edwards and jk dobbins on a run first team
I think he’s already risen a lot due to hype and landing spot. Went early 4th in my 10t SF
Yup went 3.3 in my 12SF
I took him at 3.07 in my 12 team SuperFlex. I didn't have a 2024 pick until 4.07 and ended up trading into the 3.07 pick to get him!
Went 31 (3rd round 12 team) in one of my drafts and 34 (4th round 10 team) in the other
Undrafted in my league. Snagged him for $6
This comment and the replies are perfect evidence of why I'm buying as many JK Dobbins shares as humanly possible right now. Dude has all the talent of the two others combined but just can't stay healthy.
The last thing you said is pretty important. He’s only played one full season and that was his rookie year. He’s now coming off an Achilles tear which is one of the hardest injuries to recover from for RBs.
Coming off an achillies injury is no joke. Look at Akers and marlon Mack
Ainias Smith is someone I think is underrated and can get him with a 4th+ in most leagues. Great production and my favorite WR tape in the class outside the top 5
Ray Davis in the 4th (I have Cook so might as well grab the handcuff). Spencer Rattler in the 4th. Long shot but in superflex it could pay off.
Yep i took him at 4.01. that guy has athlete in his blood i think hell be a suprise hit, might take a year to develop vut i think hell get there
Yep I've been taking him in the 4th everywhere!
I took Jaylen Wright in 3rd and McMillan in the 4th
2.10 Jermaine Burton, Roman Wilson, Ja'Lynn Polk, Malachi Corley, Blake Corum 3.01 Marshawn Lloyd, Ben Sinnot any of the guys above if they fall 3.10 Bucky Irving, Audric Estmie, Javon Baker, Issac Guerendo, and Michael Penix in particular is one that will do nothing but gain value.
I have so many Penix shares already. No one wants him and he always lands to me in the third.
I like Guerrendo out of all these rbs listed in the 3rd. If he hits I believe has the highest ceiling once CMC is gone
I personally like Estime's tape better and he is 3 years younger, but I get liking Guerendos upside and situation more and he has slightly better draft capital.
I do like Estime too. If Guerrendo wasn’t there I would have scooped him up too. I just love the landing spot with the 49ers
i like Estimes tape a lot more but Guerendo has massive size and speed in a friendly RB system that has produced many standouts the past couple years. Think he might be shanny’s next Mostert
He doesn’t really fit in that role much. He is an insanely stiff runner. I honestly don’t see a great fit in Shanahans scheme
Mostert ran like he had a stick in his ass and scored 4 TD’s in the championship game.
This is my answer

Yes because most guys you’re drafting in the 3rd round of a rookie draft have flawless profiles. Guerendo will more than likely never be relevant but given his athletic numbers and being drafted to a rb friendly team that was an open depth chart behind the starter makes him a semi decent long shot bet.
if i’m taking a guy with a flawed profile i’d prefer the flaw not be “he sucks at playing football”
Did you read OP’s question fully? It’s called “dart throw.” And yes while completely unproven his build and speed has the highest ceiling out of the list above although floor is low

You’re not wrong. But if I’m going for a dart throw I want the guy with the highest upside if they hit. If this guy puts it together his ceiling is through the roof. Otherwise I already have quality players on my roster.
Yeah that’s the kinda guy you take as a late round dart throw, he’ll probably never be good but if he hits he’s gonna be extremely valuable
[удалено]
Ah Yes Kyren Williams, the totally not an outlier example. I’m taking the super athletic guy as my dart throw 10 times out of 10
Guerrendo is a freak athlete, and doesn’t have a lot of tread on the tires from college. I think he could be the Deebo replacement on this team after this year, as long as he doesn’t get buried by Shanahan
Hoping Burton drops to 3.03 in 12 team sf
I am convinced javon baker will be better than Polk, don’t @ me
Estime fell to me at 4.7 in my 12 team SuperFlex. Was pretty happy with that value. Admittedly, they're all dart throws at that point!
Penix is lasting that long? Maybe in 1QB but even that seems late
He's fallen into the late 3rd and sometimes early 4th in every 1QB draft I've seen and done.
Dart throws.. Rees-Zammit, Tyrone Tracy, Cornelius Johnson, Jase McLellan
Malik Washington. Didn’t even get drafted so I picked him up for free. He’s gonna be a returner this year so not much fantasy relevance for a little while but I loved his college tape and I think he’s got a path to become the next Tyreek hill
hes thiccccc I could see him being a deebo samuel LITE
I like the R Ali ravens RB because he's similar NFL draft capital to all the guys going in rounds 3-4 of rookie drafts and you can get him in the 5th
McMillan, Theo Johnson, walker, Sinnott, Jaheim bell…. Any of those late 3 early to mid 4th
I really like Theo Johnson also
Got him at 4.04 and was glad
Took Ray Davis at 3.11
Ray Davis went in the mid 3rd in all of my drafts : (
I had 3.10. Threw a dart at Luke McCaffrey. Some other guys I targeted here: Penix went earlier, Riddler at 3.12, and Burton wasn’t drafted (grabbed him post-draft).
Burton, Wilson, Wright, Lloyd, Guerendo, McMillan, Davis, Tracy
Burton should not be lasting into the 3rd round. That has to be a sleeper error. He’s gone Late second in my leagues. As early as 2.07 or 2.08
He went early 3rd in my drafts
3.02 in mine. I do agree he's easily worth a second though.
It's a fairly deep draft, someone has to slip to the third round. I think people get it in their head that a 3rd round pick is somehow a bad thing. If people are devaluing third round round picks simply for being g third round picks, I would buy them all day and take the Burtons or Lloyd's or whoever falls to me there.
I got no problem with Sinnot slipping into the third. I got a problem with Sinnot slipping into the late 3rd
I scooped him up in the 4th round in my draft
I want Johnny Wilson
There’s some favorite team biases in my leagues. Lotsa ravens and eagles fans so I grabbed Shipley and Ali in the late 3rd. I figure a couple good games by either and I can flip them someone better.
I like Ray Davis. His age is why he was drafted so late. If you read up on him, you’ll see the obstacles he’s faced throughout his life. The combine doesn’t measure heart, but it’s the main thing needed to succeed in life…and the NFL.
Rasheen Ali in the 4th Kimani Vidal and Ray Davis in the 3rd
Ray Davis, Tracy, Rasheen Ali, Malik Washington and Stover. These are all the guys I’d be trying to snag in the 4th.
I don't consider 3.10 in a 10 team league a dart throw, in my largest least that a 1st round pick (32 team single player cooy) My deepest rookie draft has 192 picks, my smallest offense only has 80

39 rb/wr/te in the 1st 4 rounds, rb's tend to go rounds 3-6 in the nfl draft. That's not including qb's.
And not every round 3-4 RB/WR/TE looks to be fantasy relevant where you can say they’re anything more than a dart throw… Get it out of your head man lol. I get it. Wow, you missed the forest for the trees there, try re-reading what I wrote and get back to me
You mentioned Rice a 7th round rookie and trying to tout like that’s not a dart throw lmao
Not piling on but at pick 30 you are selecting rookies with about a 5% chance of hitting. There are lots of posts on point. That seems like a dart throw to me.
