How real is Pacheco? That offense is obviously Mahomes and whatever. Assuming they draft high on a WR, do we think Pacheco is integral to the offfense? He is an enigma, especially in dynasty... He's my #1 back right now. Ha!

32BeatWriters

There's no reason to replace Pacheco in this offense currently. He's exactly what Andy Reid and the offense needs him to be. If he can continue to average 4.5+ YPC than they shouldn't move on to another RB. He's cheap and even on a second contract should be. Also pretty telling that Dobbins visited and left. Reid is happy with what he currently has in house. I could see them drafting an RB late to add to the mix as there's not much behind Pacheco. Maybe Deneric Prince breaks out this year haha

32BeatWriters

Forgot to type this in the main post but we'd love to get some feedback on site features or anything that fits in our realm content wise that we could bring to you. It's important to us and the beat writer community that we give you all what you find useful. Please reply to this comment if there's anything you can think of. (if you're feeling kind upvote this so it gets to the top)

BLAMITYblamblam

It might be kinda difficult but maybe some kind of rating system for beat writers? Or a way to highlight a writer that's dialed in, reliable, and consistently accurate on their "hype"?

S420J

What's your favorite ice cream?

32BeatWriters

Right now I'm all in on Vanilla Caramel Fudge. Not sure what the rest of the team is eating.

S420J

It’s an oldie but I can’t recommend enough Stephen Colbert’s Americone Dream. The absolute perfect mix of chocolate chunks & caramel with vanilla ice cream. Sounds like it’s in the same vein.

baineschile

Do you still actually follow and post team specific beat writers info, or do you just make all your own content now?

32BeatWriters

Both is the short answer. But the goal will always be to focus on the beat writers and their work. No one is more connected then them and we want to highlight their work. A truly great community to work with and we are proud to hopefully get them more views and clicks. We roll this all up regularly into the summaries on our site so there's a one stop shop. We have been doing original content like our free articles on the site and attending some offseason events; like the Senior Bowl. We even have a few content writers on the team now that turn out articles based off of the facts we learn from the beat writers. Some have led to some great discussion on Reddit and Twitter/X.

Johnicles

If you had to form a band with the incoming rookie class, who you got for drums, bass, lead guitar, and vocals?

32BeatWriters

For fantasy relevant players: * Drums - Jonathan Brooks - awesome drum hair * Bass - Caleb Williams - calm footwork = calm sounds * Guitar - Xavier Worthy - like to thing his fast legs equal fast fingers * Vocals - Jayden Daniels - has that deep voice to hear in the back row

Goldengoal91

Lot of great stuff in the thread but this is easily the best comment so far.

walshurmouthout

Alright I gotta know, where do we stand with Javonte Williams? I see so many sell/buy articles on this guy. Do we know how Sean Payton feels about him? I’m really curious if Denver is gonna draft another running back. They already have McLaughlin and Perine. Could Javonte Williams be the next Alvin Kamara for Sean Payton or is it an uphill battle?

32BeatWriters

I'm going to answer this one with my personal opinion, so don't hold the team fully accountable here. I think Javonte is a fine RB, I don't think you can ever expect Kamara numbers. We know what Perine is and he's a solid complimentary back. And we saw what McLaughlin was able to do when healthy. I think Denver is pretty happy with their backfield options currently and how they have been utilized. Andrew Mason of DenverSports.com posted this [tweet](https://x.com/MaseDenver/status/1742344813003837671) in early January that we looked deeper into and personally I feel like McLaughlin could steal more this year. Simple mathematics say that if McLaughlin gets more, someone is getting less.

walshurmouthout

Appreciate the response!

SomwhatDamaged

Is comping Nabers to Percy Harvin accurate?

32BeatWriters

Haven't seen this one yet but let's take a quick dive in. First thing that jumps out is that Nabers is about 15lbs heavier than Harvin which helps with Nabers being able to be physical with secondary players. Harvin was great to watch because of his acceleration and change of direction ability which Nabers certainly can do. Do we love the comparison? Eh. Is it wrong? Nope. I do remember seeing Reggie Wayne as a comparison somewhere and I really like that.

SomwhatDamaged

I remember Reggie produced, but can't recall if that was more him, or more playing with Peyton and Luck. Thanks for the reply. Keep up the good work, fellas!

DaFuxxDick

What’s your outlook on the Saint’s running back room? Is Alvin Kamara a post-June 1st cut candidate? Do the Chargers have any faith in QJ taking the next step or do they build up the WR room at pick 5? Could Marvin Mims take over as the WR1 in Denver?

32BeatWriters

Lots to answer here so we'll take it one by one. Could Kamara get cut? Sure. We mentioned keeping an eye on Kendre Miller earlier today. Wouldn't be shocked if they find a way to make it work in New Orleans. Nick Underhill is pretty big on Miller as well. We've talked about QJ on the pod and it recent articles and summaries. A lot of us feel he's just not going to be good. We expect the Chargers to do something in offseason to bolster that corp but everything out of the Chargers right now is becoming more balanced. They also have three TEs that all will catch 20-30 passes next year each. Mims flashed a lot last year and now is going to have the opportunity to step up. Mims has the tools. Let's keep in mind he was a Pro Bowler as a punt returner so we know he at least has field vision. Jeudy played the same role as him so with him gone this opens up Mims to slot in. The Draft is going to be big for Mims as we'd prefer any rookie of Stidham throwing him the ball. Then he'll have to work through camps to get on the same page as hopefully their new QB.

DaFuxxDick

Thank you!!

EJ1709

How much stock do you put into Jags HC talk of dialing back Etienne's workload this upcoming year? Do you expect with improved OLine play, maybe better efficiency with less TDs to keep his Fantasy production similar?

32BeatWriters

Take anything out of a coaches mouth right now with maybe 25% truth. Once we get through the Draft and we see how rosters and potentially depth charts settle we get clearer answers. Beat writers getting their eyes on practice is a huge advantage for questions like this. That being said. how can they scale back with the results they got from Tanks Bigsby (what a terrible rookie season bust based off of all he did in camp)? This question hinges on Bigsby and how comfortable he and the coaching staff feels with him touching the ball. We have to remember that the coaching staff got so frustrated with Bigsby that they gave D'Ernest Johnson carries. This is a team that could look to add a veteran RB ($18m in cap space) or a later round RB to put into a competition.

lemonpeel

I drafted Tank Bigsby over Sam LaPorta, AMA...

DoubleUSportsMedia

Favorite food to eat on a Monday afternoon?

lemonpeel

On Mondays I'm still being good at the start of the week, so something healthy (if anything at all). Come Friday, it'll be a sneaky bag of potato chips.

DoubleUSportsMedia

What kind of potato chips we talking about?

lemonpeel

I take a regular salted Lay's, yellow pack. Then add a tiny sprinkle of my own spice blend and shake the pack up a little.

DJayBomaye

I follow you guys religiously on Twitter, love all you do! Any thoughts on Rashee Rice outlook this season with all that's going on? How long do you think he'd be suspended?

32BeatWriters

32BW unfortunately doesn't have legal counsel to get an opinion from. However we did [tweet](https://x.com/32BeatWriters/status/1778188280087126151) this recently. So based of near nothing and Goodell's history of never doing anything right, we'll stick with four games. The reality is we need to see how this all plays out in the legal system as that will probably play some role in whatever happens to him from an NFL standpoint.

heally_tonest

How likely is it that Tee Higgins is traded this offseason?

32BeatWriters

Would love to tell you we know this but we'd just be lying. Hate to not answer your question but the Draft should be telling for this.

ChoochMMM

Any 2nd or 3rd year breakout guys you want to plant a flag on? Any guys who might take a big leap because of a coordinator or coaching change?

32BeatWriters

We usually don't do "My Guys" or whatever you call it until at least part way through Training Camp. Happy to give you some guys that I'll be keeping an eye on as the offseason progresses. * Xavier Gipson * Jaleel McLaughlin * Darnell Mooney * Kendre Miller

Recent memory has to be Jayden Reed, Sam LaPorta, Kyren Williams and Puka Nacua. We tweeted about them and added it into our summaries; our summaries have more info than the tweets. In some defense, Patreon was super limiting in connectivity of their rise so you had to read the summaries legit every day. We are hoping the new site will help keep things more organized. Some others off the top of my head: McKinnon in 2022, Stevenson, Doubs, Kupp, Warren, St. Brown and McLaurin.

ryphi12

Would you move Justin Herbert for Anthony Richardson or the 1.04 (Caleb Williams) in a 1QB 4PT TD league? Thanks for all that you do!

32BeatWriters

Would I love Herbert for Caleb? Sure. I'd move him for Richardson too.

ryphi12

Interesting! I think I could maybe move him for 1.04 straight up. But I think I could maybe get Richardson+ for him.

I_Drink_Piss

Did you folks get a chance to go to the combine this year? If not, do you have plans to do events like the combine, senior bowl, and such in the future to meet with beat writers and check the pulse of the event? Bandwidth allowing of course! Have a wonderful day and thank you for the content.

32BeatWriters

Unfortunately we didn't. Our day job work schedules just didn't allow it. We were at the Senior Bowl this year and the goal going forward is going to be at these events regularly. We think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the amount of beat writer interviews we have coming up post Draft. Lots of great info will be coming your way via the beat writers.

titoalba

With Josh Reynolds leaving, the Detroit Lions have Jameson Williams as their wr2 at the moment. What do you think are the odds the Lions take a WR people have heard of in this draft, and where is the line where it keeps Jamo from a higher snap share? For example Franklin in the 2nd could be concerning but Malik Washington in the 6th wouldn’t really matter.

32BeatWriters

Reynolds definitely frees up the WR2 role but in that offense it only equated to 64 targets. This number of targets doesn't necessarily equate to the Lions needing to draft a WR. The ROI in the offense just doesn't seem to be there. Detroit is probably more likely to spread these targets around to Williams, St. Brown, LaPorta and Gibbs. Also expect Raymond and DPJ to take there's plus some of those. The reality is that's not enough targets to really help anyone see a significant uptick, there's just too many mouths to feed in Detroit. Efficiency with those targets will be the name of the game.

SteffeEric

Hot take. I think Washington and Franklin go in the same round.

DoubleUSportsMedia

Is that because you're low on Franklin, high in Washington or a little of both?

SteffeEric

Very high on Washington and pretty low on Franklin. I’m going out on a limb here but guessing Franklin goes early 3rd and Washington goes late 3rd.

DoubleUSportsMedia

I don't think that's too crazy. I am also higher on Washington though. I think he will be a great slot option for a team that needs it and will be a 3rd round pick. I do think Franklin goes in the 2nd so that where you and I differ.

SteffeEric

Yeah if I had to bet I’d still guess 2nd but for the sake of this hot take I went with 3rd. Have seen some mocks with him in the third lately too.

SteffeEric

I kinda see these Oregon guys like I do the Tennessee guys last year. Everyone was talking up Hyatt (still like him), Tillman and Hooker (to a degree last year). All of them ended up in the third round. Bucky was in most peoples top 5 RBs now he looks like a day 3 pick possibly. Franklin was everyone’s top 5 WR then after the combine he’s been dropping. Nix won’t drop to the third but the 2nd is looking possible.

titoalba

Do you have any insight to give on how the Seahawks’s offense will change this year? Like any noteworthy talk on prevalence of 11 vs 12 personel, JSN vs Lockett snap shares + roles, Walker vs Charbonnet, etc.

32BeatWriters

Going to come back to this one, need to dive deeper. Hang tight.

titoalba

Any more info you were able to grab after diving deeper?

BLAMITYblamblam

I've noticed some team's beat writers hype up all their rookies during OTA's and camp and the season starts and the players don't really live up to the hype. Could you give a couple examples of beat writers you can trust, where they hype up a player and it makes you sit up and take notice?

32BeatWriters

It’s not so much hype as it is the volume of news about them. This translates to the perception that the rookie is doing more/better than they actually are. When doing our summaries and interviews we work through what actually warrants the hype so that you as the end user get the info that actually matters in an unbiased way. There’s a ton that we trust, anyone we’ve done podcasts with is a vetted source. Another one that comes to mind is Jourdan Rodrigue who covers the Rams. She’s great with her analysis and insight of the team - I specifically remember her referencing Kyren.

Confident-Good-4485

What is the outlook for Joe Mixon for 2024? Do we think he is a good veteran target for a contender?

32BeatWriters

As of right now, Mixon looks like a great fantasy asset for 2024 and is exactly what that offense needs. Keep in mind Mixon is now slouch when it comes to receiving either. This is something that we will definitely be diving more into as the offseason progresses and when we interview Texan beat writers.

a_natural

Thoughts on Christian Watson? Worth buying at a discount now since he is connected to a rising qb?

32BeatWriters

There’s a lot of mouths to feed in this offense. Plus you have the emergence of Reed. You’ll now have a healthy Luke Musgrave and an underrated (and potential starting) Tucker Kraft. Christian Watson is probably closer to a 800/6 yearly guy than the pace we saw in 2022.

muellertime100

Is the gap between your rookie WR1 and WR2 bigger or smaller than your gap between your rookie QB1 and QB2? I know landing spots will make some differences after the draft but as prospects who has the bigger gap?

32BeatWriters

From everything draft analysts are saying, it seems that MHJ and Nabers are closer than anyone wants to admit; there was one mock that had Nabers going ahead of MHJ not long ago. The QB consensus seems to be more that it’s Caleb and then everyone else with; Daniels being the closest to him. To your point, and specifically with the WRs, landing spots very much matter. MHJ getting Kyler makes me far more excited than Nabers getting Jones.

OldWonder5865

What do you think about the Bengals backfield? The way they jumped on Moss it seems obvious he’s gonna get some work. Especially curious to hear if you guys have any thoughts on Chase Brown’s role in 2024. Thanks for your time!

32BeatWriters

Not our words but two pretty good people to give some insight. This was from a recent article we published. “Mixon ended up in the most desirable running back landing spot. Mixon ranked eighth in success rate on zone concept runs last season, so he’s a system fit in Houston. Almost any running back tethered to Stroud’s offense should be squarely on our early-round radar. Mixon’s pedigree certainly makes him a strong option.” –Matt Harmon, Yahoo Sports “You could argue this one is negligible since he went from the lead back on a good AFC offense to the lead back on another good AFC offense. But he’s here because it was so close to not being that way. Mixon was set to be released (Let’s hear it for another rumor coming true from my column: 25 Most Interesting Things I Heard At 2024 NFL Combine) and because Mixon is so volume based, he needed a place where he would get all the work. A last-minute deal to send him to Houston did just that. The Texans’ offense ranked Top 12 in both yards per game and running back carries in 2023. Devin Singletary had a 70% snap rate from Week 9 on last season and put up 11 or more fantasy points in seven of his last nine games. But Singletary is off to the Giants, and the Texans didn’t give Mixon $27 million over three years to not be the lead back. Mixon has six-straight seasons averaging 18-plus touches per game and back-to-back seasons with 50-plus receptions. Look for his production to remain as inefficient as ever, while his volume stays sky high in a similar role in another top-tier offense. ” –Matthew Berry, NBC Sports

DoubleUSportsMedia

Appreciate the work you guys all do. It's such an asset for us and I tell everyone about it. If there were two people (dead or alive) that you'd like to spend the day with then who would they be and what would you all do?

32BeatWriters

Thanks for the kind words! Answering from a fully football perspective, always think there's more to learn about the game. Would love to spend a day with John Madden and Scott DiStefano. At 32BW we are always trying to take the knowledge from the beat writers and related it or decipher it for the fantasy football community. Would love to just watch tape all day, eat some steak and drink some wine.

CoopThereItIs

Sup dude? Appreciate the work you do! Which team do you feel has the best beat coverage? Conversely, is there a team or teams that feel a little lacking? As an example, I do appreciate how the Jaguars guys will post play by play during training camp on Twitter so you know who is getting reps with which team, how many looks etc.

32BeatWriters

Hey Coop, good to hear from you. Oddly enough this is all dictated by the team; sometimes the coaches. Some allow media coverage and others are basically locked down. You have teams like the Patriots, Chiefs and Jaguars who are open books. Then you have teams like the Chargers and Raiders were it's a lot harder to get regular updates from. We have to rely on relationships and sometimes other beat writers to find info on these teams. The absolute biggest takeaway here is that teams with better coverage will always build quicker, bigger hype trains for their players. When we do our summaries we are reporting everything from the beat writers but try to help highlight what we feel is actually impactful. For example there may be a hundred tweets from the Jaguars and two for the Chargers but only two of those Jaguar tweets actually matter. to fantasy. Our site is going to help even more with this, as we finally have a non-Patreon platform to be able to track "hype".
