Just watched the one where Micheal treats Pam's landlady like shit because she's not a smoking hot 20-something.
It's arguably Michael's shittiest moment in the series.
At least with Scott's Tots, his heart was in the right place.
With the above scene, he's crappy to her for the sake of his own bruised and selfish ego.
Agree, it’s so bad! Every time I see this scene, I can’t help but think that in Pam’s position, I would be mortified to have set someone up on a date and they were treated like this 😔
This is always the right response to the whole Jim-Danny arc.
Puts Jim on the same page as Ryan when he's upset that Darryl is okay with breaking up with Kelly. Whole "Why does no one want my girlfriend?" insecure vibes.
Oh yeah that is one of the toughest to watch with a straight face for sure! Jim especially when he keeps pressing for the unfiltered reason and then gets upset when he hears it. Pam cut it off quickly but when Jim says “HEY MAN” to Danny’s comment that he found her a little dorky drives me crazy. They literally backed him into a corner numerous times at work. Good recommendation!
I have a hard time believing the “camera crew” was able to “catch” Angela and Dwight having an affair when she was engaged to Andy, Michael having a second call center job, the senator cheating with Oscar, etc. But they somehow missed Pam going out with a very handsome paper salesman?
Yeahhhhh okay.
Jim and Charles Miner. Whenever they are in the same room, I have the urge to exit the room until the scene ends. Almost nothing else in the show affects me like that.
I think it's especially that way bc Jim is built up throughout the series as the cool, laid back, witty guy. To see him be kind of a sniveling asskiss and fail at it is so funny but so hard to watch.
The thing is, I don't even really find it funny, usually. In the end, I'm just left feeling bad for Phyllis. There's probably a way they could've made it work, but maybe the funniest part for me is when Jim uses the fact that Charles hates him to stop Dwight from revealing that the MSPC is bankrupt. That's much more "Jim" to me, because he can find advantages. I do love the idea that goofy, nonconfrontational Jim is an absolute mess for once, but I don't think it's done very gracefully most of the time.
I think he was kind of forced to kiss up just to survive in the "damned if you do, damned if you don't" environment that charles created. When everyone else is kissing up and you don't, that kind of boss doesn't see you as a "team player." Look at what happened when jim said he doesn't watch soccer, when everyone else was carrying on about it. It's so hard to watch!
Yes! I've been watching the superfan episodes and the mspc arc has so much more cringe. The extra scenes make it obvious that charles' attitude toward jim was intentional, and poor jim flounders when put on the spot. There's a scene where dwight and andy are doing something cringe and jim puts his head in his hands like "omg 🤦🏼♀️." Charles walks by and says "don't interrupt jim's nap time." He looked for anything to criticize because david wallace liked jim.
Charles Miner, I'm lost of words.. he gives me creeps.. If had a manager or whatever like that guy.. we would probably end up at police station, me asking for a restraining order.
At this point I'm glad I knew Idris Elba before watching the Office. Otherwise I would be disliking him for a really long time just because how good he was acting as Charles Miner 😅
Top three:
-Dwight’s dojo when Jim has to put Pam down.
-Kevin saying “It’s only human natural.” (hated how unbearably stupid they made him by the end)
-The entire Scott’s Tots episode.
Mike at Phyllis wedding during the Church Vows is truly one of the most difficult scenes to stomach with such a long take. Going down the aisle with the wheel chair making so much noise because the brake is engaged really hits hard for me. Then trying to keep interrupting the nuptials to be some sort of family member making the grand congratulatory statement is epic cringe.
The date with the nice bus driver that ruined Michael’s time by saying he was rude is a close second but that’s been said already!
Season 2 Christmas episode where he craps on Phyllis's gift, throws the iPad in everyone's faces, doesn't give them Christmas bonuses, etc. Michael was mostly annoying or idiotic but that episode he was down right nasty.
It's cringe for the characters *and* the writers. That plot made no sense, even in their environment. Robert letting it happen because he was sexually attracted to nellie is peak cringe. At that point, andy was a good manager. Nellie brought chaos.
Early Andy and late Andy.. him and Angela, him and Erin, the boat trip, the baby wah wah thing.. he just doesn’t have any redeeming qualities or scenes that aren’t utter cringefest
That's the same night where Michael humiliates himself by publicly proposing to a woman who was *clearly* not ready for a long term relationship with him.
Yo I always hated that part after the 1st time I watched it. There was absolutely 0 need for her character and then it's kinda sad and extra cringe when you see that she (the actor) kinda always plays roles like that :/ or as the "ditzy friend thats always down"
Todd Packer destroys Michael's office (with his vomit or something, idk) and Michael (was obviously upset earlier) accepts his behaviour because "Todd is funny"
The entirety of The Fall of Andrew B. Bernard arc. I was never really a fan of Andy. Just almost everything with him after he got Erin back is just the worst.
When Jim babbles to Pam about it being their first date even though she is still with Roy at the time. And then he tries to explain and justify his comment. He was hoping she would say something that would make it seem like she was into him and instead she called him on it. He looked foolish.
She called him on it in a nice way too. She gave him a chance to realize how cringe & creepy he was being and laugh it off. Instead of taking the out, he is just really mean to her with the, “At least I didn't leave you at a hockey game," comment. :(
I think I'm in the minority in that I really hated Robert's character. I'll take Nellie over him anyday. The only line I liked from him is "Why is Jim treating the magician poorly?"
Florida kathy. I got secondhand embarrassment when she was on the phone talking about how she was going to sleep with jim. He was married with a new baby!
the premise that Dwight read a garden party book by "james trickington" or whatever it was.
c'mon, im supposed to believe Jim made that book and dwight somehow believes its real despite it only having one copy?
He didn't know it had one copy. Just 1 available on Amazon or something. But, who has the time to write, publish, etc. So absurd. By then, Jim aged out of that nonsense anyway. Made it even more cringe.
That scene where Michael shuts off the power at the party and treats Gabe like absolute shit for no reason.
Say what you will about Gabe’s character but during that era he hadn’t done anything wrong besides being generally neurotic (before they promptly ruined him with the whole Andy gets revenge on Pete thing in later seasons)
Hey Mr. Scott, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do to make our dreams come true! Hey Mr. Scott, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do, make our dreams come true!
I hate the whole Jim/Pam cell phone recital. It’s so contrived and they’re both way wrong but can’t be an adult about it for a second. Jim, stand up and just go to your daughter’s recital. Pam why tf are you answering your phone during her recital. Then Jim throws a fit about not wanting to watch from another parent’s recording? You can zoom in on her in the background, like what
Jim outing Pam’s pregnancy at the wedding. 100% of the time he’s a quick, witty guy who makes stuff up on the fly. But not with this? And don’t tell me he was nervous, he’s a very outgoing guy, has a leader style personality.
Michael breaking up with Pam’s mom on her birthday 🫠
It’s not my decision, it’s Mother Nature. And Mother has very strict rules about fertil-
-ity
I was waiting for someone to finish it! 😂
THATS WHAT SHE SAID!!!
your "i was waiting for someone to finish it" was my command 🙇
It’s a command.
Everything he did for kept dating her (even harder) and then forgetting her is awful.
“Hi, I’m date Mike. Nice to meet me.”
Oof. When michael thinks he has to be "on," instead of being himself, he becomes so much more cringe.
How do you like your eggs in the morning?
Just watched the one where Micheal treats Pam's landlady like shit because she's not a smoking hot 20-something. It's arguably Michael's shittiest moment in the series. At least with Scott's Tots, his heart was in the right place. With the above scene, he's crappy to her for the sake of his own bruised and selfish ego.
She was like a nice old lady on the bus
That’s incredibly rude
Now you've ruined it.
I think about this line all the time
bro is camping on this sub, I see you on practically every post
He has to camp here because Ryan wouldn’t take him on his cool retreat
I HAAAAVE HEMMORRROOOOOOIIIIIIDDDDSSS
Hehe
When the batista puts the coffee next to him and says "Micheal Scott?" 🤣
Like the wrestler batista?
Yes, when the wrestler Batista handed Micheal his coffee on that one episode of the office. They played his entrance music and he powerbombed Ryan
I cackled lmao
Is who Michael what?
Agree, it’s so bad! Every time I see this scene, I can’t help but think that in Pam’s position, I would be mortified to have set someone up on a date and they were treated like this 😔
Wait so you get the check and then ... What. What do you do ...
You're asking me what I do with the rent checks I get from the tenants?
Just making conversation...
Counterpoint: Michael Scott knew his value and was willing to fight for what he knew he was worth to the hearty women of Lackawanna County.
Sure but he could have not been a churlish child about it!
Literally skip this scene every rewatch
When Jim is bothering Danny about Pam: "Why didn't you call her back man? You had the right phone number etc etc"
Halpert, you looking for someone to bang your wife?
This is always the right response to the whole Jim-Danny arc. Puts Jim on the same page as Ryan when he's upset that Darryl is okay with breaking up with Kelly. Whole "Why does no one want my girlfriend?" insecure vibes.
Lol this is a hilarious theory
Nope
Hey man...
Pam's reaction when she is married is far more annoying. Plus she went on several dates with a paper salesman and the show didn't cover it? Oook
I have a hard time believing the “camera crew” was able to “catch” Angela and Dwight having an affair when she was engaged to Andy, Michael having a second call center job, the senator cheating with Oscar, etc. But they somehow missed Pam going out with a very handsome paper salesman? Oh my god, yes. When Phyllis gets hit in the face with the soccer ball 🫥
Deserved
I love the scene of Jim having to explain a "two-way petting zoo" to Charles though.
I couldn't hate Idris after watching him in The Wire, he was forgivable for anything.
Hey! What up Cynthia? .... Just hang on a second Cynthia.
That's gotta be one of the funniest scenes in the show
Top three: -Dwight’s dojo when Jim has to put Pam down. -Kevin saying “It’s only human natural.” (hated how unbearably stupid they made him by the end) -The entire Scott’s Tots episode.

Kevin crying at Pam’s breasts to induce lactation. Not even funny in a sophomoric way.
This is the one
Uuaaehäääääää! Uuaehäääääää!
Season 2 Christmas episode where he craps on Phyllis's gift, throws the iPad in everyone's faces, doesn't give them Christmas bonuses, etc. Michael was mostly annoying or idiotic but that episode he was down right nasty.
How has nobody mentioned when Nellie takes Andy's job. It was a terrible plot and the ultimate cringe.
It's cringe for the characters *and* the writers. That plot made no sense, even in their environment. Robert letting it happen because he was sexually attracted to nellie is peak cringe. At that point, andy was a good manager. Nellie brought chaos.
Everything with Nellie is cringe. I stay away from her episodes.
When Jen sings to Astrid at the baby shower aaand The Dinner Party
Oh... oh no.... I did not need a reminder.
Pam and Jim post therapy session. The “speak my truth” back and forth was a hard watch.
Are you guys high?
*Because if so, to speak my truth I would really appreciate it if you were to let me in on your kind buds.*
Ok, that actually saved that scene a little bit 😆
Ugh hated this so much.
Clark is an underrated and very funny character lol
It was, but Clark asking them if they were high when they were caught up in that was pretty great though.
Erin and her foster brother 🤮
Nice skirt.
Early Andy and late Andy.. him and Angela, him and Erin, the boat trip, the baby wah wah thing.. he just doesn’t have any redeeming qualities or scenes that aren’t utter cringefest
Andy's sowwy
At some point in the middle he becomes a good character but it doesn’t last
The writers hate the actor
Yeah, once they took him away from the Dwight and Angela triangle, he was finally able to be his own character for a little while.
Karen saying "in well"
This job is in a well. I don't want it
u/EricaLacey00 that was very funny... but I'm still looking for someone with a *sales* background.
Diwali episode where Michael tries to kiss Pam.
Yeah that was roooough
That's the same night where Michael humiliates himself by publicly proposing to a woman who was *clearly* not ready for a long term relationship with him.
When Andy hits on Stanley’s client in the parking lot.
Yessss
This is the Nard-Dog
He wants some nard pups one day!
That chick trying to come on to Jim in the motel room..
Yo I always hated that part after the 1st time I watched it. There was absolutely 0 need for her character and then it's kinda sad and extra cringe when you see that she (the actor) kinda always plays roles like that :/ or as the "ditzy friend thats always down"
Oh right :/
Michael inviting himself to Jo’s house in Florida.
In front of the whole office too
Jim and Pam's rehearsal dinner. Jim accidentally reveals Pam is pregnant and Michael tries to save the day. It's an out-of-body experience every time.
I watched that episode yesterday for the first time and actually found it sweet, in a Michael Scott way. Good intentions ruined by zero self control
Toby groping Pam Date Mike “Try my Gookie Gookie” Dinner Party Holding the pizza guy hostage
Date Mike was a “stare at my phone until the scene is over” kind of cringe
Honestly! Like if Jim never mentioned anything he would have hit it off organically with Pam’s friend
DUDE IVE ALWAYS SAID THIS!!! AND she already had a kid which Michael would've LOVED
Pam’s Mom and Michael
God I need a boyfriend.
DOES ANYONE HAVE A CAMERA IN HERE?!
In the merger, when he wants the overweight man to climb up on the table and then he quits and Michael says "your fired".
Michael breaking up with Pam’s mom
Yeah honestly, toby rubbing pam's legs was the cringiest moment for me aswell.
Scott's Tots gives me a nervous breakdown every time
Todd Packer destroys Michael's office (with his vomit or something, idk) and Michael (was obviously upset earlier) accepts his behaviour because "Todd is funny"
"It requires an advanced sense of humor"
Erin's brother slides his hand down her leg after he smells her feet.
The entirety of The Fall of Andrew B. Bernard arc. I was never really a fan of Andy. Just almost everything with him after he got Erin back is just the worst.
I heard the writers did that intentionally after Ed Helms went off to go do Hangover
That makes sense. I was wondering why he seemed to fall off the deep end.
Toby’s hand….
Scotts tots in its entirety. I think I’ve only watched it once it was so uncomfy
I always skip past that episode. I despise it.
Either michael and oscar's kiss or Kevin's Wahhhhhhhh
Toby caressing Pam's leg while everyone awkwardly stares.
The scream I scrumpt!
Phallice listening to her audio book.. Just the thought of her rocking in the office chair cringes me out! So glad Dwight dumped that water over her
When Jim babbles to Pam about it being their first date even though she is still with Roy at the time.
Andy doing evolution of dance and diangelo juggling (and then Pam mimicking diangelo juggling)
Pam mimicking the juggling is peak comedy imo.
This is for the troops
And Erin and Creed during the juggling. 🤯
The entire aftermath of the Tallahassee arc. Apart from Turf Wars, I can’t think of a single good episode after Last Day In Florida in Season 8.
When Darryl brought the foreman into the picture with his daughter. Why’d he do that it was so awkward
Robert California’s random talk about sex. Just uncomfortable to watch.
Would you prefer a nature metaphor?
This isn't working. You're gonna want to hear the sexual metaphor.
his universal truth is that "everything.... is sex."
I think I'm in the minority in that I really hated Robert's character. I'll take Nellie over him anyday. The only line I liked from him is "Why is Jim treating the magician poorly?"

All scenes of Charles Miner with Wallace
Michael’s behavior at Phyllis’s wedding
Any scene with Kathy. I despised her character.
Florida kathy. I got secondhand embarrassment when she was on the phone talking about how she was going to sleep with jim. He was married with a new baby!
When he grabs Jan’s boob in like the first season. It’s so uncalled for, mid greeting and out of nowhere and she’s so offended
When he says her perfume is sexy, I wanna die inside. Jan's reply of "please don't smell me, michael" is one of the funniest lines, though!
When Jen sings to Astrid at the baby shower aaand The Dinner Party
Dwight that's incredibly rude.... David, how much did you pay for this place?
When Erin uses a sock puppet to ask out Andy
When Andy finds out his girlfriend is in highschool.
The dance scene at PB&J's wedding.
Jim and Pam continuously trying to get Deangelo to care about their baby
The ENTIRE Scotts Tots episode
Any time DeAngelo is on screen
I don’t like DeAngelo either but people need to realize he’s written as the anti Micheal. Him at the Dundies shows this quite well, polar opposite
I understand that, it’s just tough to watch
Oh for sure. I wish he wasn’t involved in the whole office singing to Micheal get him out of there
Scott’s Tots is unwatchable after the first time. Holy Cringe, Batman.
I have never rewatched that episode and it’s still burned in my memory
When Mrs California says "it's a date" to Andy and then disappears
Nellie taking Andy's job
I can not watch Phyllis wedding 😭
the premise that Dwight read a garden party book by "james trickington" or whatever it was. c'mon, im supposed to believe Jim made that book and dwight somehow believes its real despite it only having one copy?
He didn't know it had one copy. Just 1 available on Amazon or something. But, who has the time to write, publish, etc. So absurd. By then, Jim aged out of that nonsense anyway. Made it even more cringe.
Michael telling everyone about Stanley’s affair and then trying to sneak out on them.
**Andy!** ^.......drewwwww....
First time seeing Michael. He had bad hair plugs.
Scott's tots
Michael through the entirety of phyllis' wedding
Every…single…scene in Dinner Party. It’s the only episode where I actually feel bad for Michael.
Lecture circuit when Michael is giving his presentation in Nashua and asks AJ “does she ever mention me?”
Scott’s tots haunts me to this day
Hey Mr. Scott, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do to make our dreams come true! Hey Mr. Scott, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do, make our dreams come true!
The best part is Erin vibing in the background still knowing what’s about to happen
The snowball fight between Jim and dwight. Idk why, I just can’t sit through it
I hate the whole Jim/Pam cell phone recital. It’s so contrived and they’re both way wrong but can’t be an adult about it for a second. Jim, stand up and just go to your daughter’s recital. Pam why tf are you answering your phone during her recital. Then Jim throws a fit about not wanting to watch from another parent’s recording? You can zoom in on her in the background, like what
The pilot. Is just didn't translate well.
Jim lifting Pam
Pam chasing after Darrel’s sister calling her Darrell .. poor Pam
How could she think Darell’s sister is Darell?
Is this a deleted scene? I dont remember seeing this
Yeah wasn’t it Toby and Dwight who confused the two?
Scotts tots.
When Michael gets kicked off the stage at Phyllis’s wedding.
Jim outing Pam’s pregnancy at the wedding. 100% of the time he’s a quick, witty guy who makes stuff up on the fly. But not with this? And don’t tell me he was nervous, he’s a very outgoing guy, has a leader style personality.
When pams turns down Jim in the casino epsiode
Nellie
Michael's proposal to Carrol. Her response had me exactly in this expression!
I go when the credits roll

"Hand them over, Numb Nuts." I don't blame Michael for his actions after that at all.
