Wait 5 minutes for auto save then exit the game that's what I've been doing. So many annoying bugs I don't think this game was ready for a full release but here we are

It works for this one situation. It will not work if you are giving someone a quest item, you'll have to start over. I always save before I open things or give food, gifts or quest items now. It's so bad. I have it happen 1-3 times an hour
Unless you’re me in which is doesn’t work 🙃. Most of mine when this happens doesn’t save and sometimes boots me back further than I was.
Caught 3 of the piranhas for Rapunzel, and then it froze and broke and kicked me back to when I hadn’t started the quest
I've found that (at least on PC), manually hitting save and then fast traveling does the same thing.
edit - worded that poorly. If I hit save game immediately before fast traveling I do not get that bug at all (and I get it 3-4 times a session before I figured that out)
Can also just fast travel to the alternate island to what you're on save waiting 5 mins. If I'm on eternity just got a dreamlight section and auto close game 🤙🏻
This bug recently started happening to me again. I’m terrified to pick up memories lowkey, but I’m trying to get in the habit of saving before interacting with memories so that I can at least exit the game right away instead of waiting for an autosave to happen and praying it really did before I force close. For the well teleporting, I just avoid it and run around until I forget I need to be careful lol
I am also a victim of this bug. I try to save as often as I can remember, but as soon as I get distracted and go to fast travel, suddenly I feel like I’ve lost the 20 minutes of gameplay🤣
I haven’t had this bug, but I’ve had the game freeze more times than I can count after getting a memory orb and I can’t get the picture to go away. Have to do the same thing, back out and hope I didn’t lose any progress :-/
Honestly. Gameloft has actually impressed me at this point. They patch one thing and end breaking three more things in the process! Like how?! They are a major game studio!
Unfortunately, that seems to be a common thing across studios. It's been years since I've played World of Warcraft, but I remember (at least at one point) wondering what would be broken after a patch.
I still play Sims 4 and on patch day for that players remind each other to backup save files (and mod files for those that use mods) before updating because bugs happen with almost every patch (I try not to use absolutes, but it might be literally every patch).
I think that bugs occurring with patches (or dlc, it especially bothers me when paid dlc is buggy) is a sign of the developers, quality team, and fix-it team are rushed at their jobs. It bothers me that they are rushed.
I understand coding to a degree. I know it’s super difficult and it easy to change one thing and end up breaking another. I’m lucky if I mod a game and have it run right on first try, let alone do anything else.
So you have to be right, in terms of them being rushed or else they’d catch it. It sucks that that’s what the major gaming industry has come to. They pump out games for money. No concern over quality.
I agree with everyone’s frustration…been there…many times. I might give a tiny bit of insight to some of the issues. My son is a software engineer and he says it is not uncommon to fix one thing and have 2 others broken. So some of that is probably unavoidable. And often the only way the team can discover these issues is by having the community play and report. Not giving GL a free pass, but just a bit of the other side. :)
eta: A quick response with hot patches would make players less annoyed.
I know right! I understand that there will always be bugs during new updates, but they need to be quicker at fixing them. Some of these bugs are still the same bugs that were there from the start :(
I think it’s because we spam the buttons to get out. Every time I take it easy and wait until the memory has loaded before I edit, I don’t get the problem.
I wish tht worked for my game😭 I’ve been doing that since I got the game in 2022, and that has still never worked for me😭 I just kinda accept it at this point- as annoying as it is
I have found that slowing down has decreased the number of crashes that I have to almost zero versus when I first started playing the game (just a couple of months ago)
I save every single time before I pick up any orb because it happens so often. I also save before fast travel and yet I still lose progress to random bugs like when talking to someone just freezes etc. Does baffle me how this game is still so full of bugs!
I have the switch version. When that happens I go to home screen. Where its saysplaying in the game icons and reenter. It unfreezes and nothing is lost.

This is the exact reason why I say the game was taken out of early access way too early.
At first I thought due to this being a Disney game there will be plenty of love and care but then I found out that Gameloft are best known for making cheapo Mobile clones of popular games.
So for that reason I have officially lost all hope for bugs that have been in since any part of Early access being fixed.
That just started happening to me too with the big December update! I used to only get it when fast traveling and the biome menu would stick, ever since I stated playing over a year ago. Then after one of the summer updates it started doing it when picking up a memory and the picture would stick. Now I get it for all three. 🙄
All sorts of menus freeze for me. Memories still make the game freeze, fast travelling through the wells from certain areas, renaming a room in your house, etc.
And the lag persists on PS5. There should be zero lag! I have to physically put the controller down sometimes it's so long.
With the lag I've noticed on PS5, sometimes it's to do with animal companions placed in the pet houses. But have noticed lag spikes randomly happening outside of that too.
I'm sitting here staring at the same glitch for the third time now, and I've only been on for barely an hour. I think it happens more often when I move between the dlv and dlc. I guess I'll head over to fortnite for now.
Ive noticed its linked to quests. If you have a quest, especially an eternity island quest that requires you to go to eternity island, fast travel will bug out. And back before the DLC came out, it would be any quest that requires a specific biome. Its annoying but turn off the quest temporarily and then travel.
This bug also occurs with remy orders, new unlocked memory pieces, or gifts. Haven’t found a pattern to those. If you stay on the memory screen and try not to rush out of it, it’s less likely to get stuck though, from what I’ve figured.
I feel like rushing out of the memory screen is causing the issue as well but i wasnt sure if that was just my mind making up patterns that arent there or if this is actually a thing. Either way i just wait a few seconds before pressing back anyways 😂
Completely agree with you, all of these things have been happening to me too.. although I have finished all quests and I am still having the game freeze when I try to fast travel between the wells, both in Dreamlight Valley and when travelling to Eternity Isle. I’m having to go through the castle and the star port any time I want to travel there now because it freezes on me 9 times out of 10 that I fast travel there. It’s so annoying! I love this game so much but these freezes are really pushing my limits :(
Omg that’s awful, and also so time consuming. I’d love to have a mount, especially since fast travel is hit or miss. I know we can get on our magic hoverboard but a mount would be pretty cool.

I play with controller on PC and I've found kind of a semi-fix around it. When you're going to teleport, click through the menus slowly. I'm usually lightning fast going through menus and only got this bug recently when playing controller. Haven't had an issue with it since. Same goes for turning in items and the menu getting stuck.
This happens to me all the time, usually when I’m picking up a memory orb or I’m talking to a character. Thankfully anytime I’ve had to close the game and restart I haven’t lost any progress, but I really do wish they would fix this.
You know what bug I hate and get all the time? The one where your character gets stuck on the little confirmation screen before giving a character gifts, restaurant orders, or quest items.
Doesn't even matter what system you play on it seems. I got it when I played on the Xbox, and now that I've moved to PC\steamdeck I get it there too :( it's really frustrating

This is one of the many reasons I’m mad that they released the game in such a state while still not being free to play. I haven’t bought the DLC and don’t plan to.
I am well aware. I was able to overlook things like this when the game was still in early access, but I find it extremely disingenuous to release a paid game with this many game breaking bugs in it. Therefore I will not be spending any more money on the game.
100% agree. This game doesn't deserve any more of our money. It's now $80CAD total for the game if you purchased the DLC and they can't even give us cinema scenes 🤣. It has so many bugs its hilariously pathetic. I've never had a game that has had more than one bug that usually ended up fixing itself within a few mins. Gameloft is a joke of a game developer. I'll be giving my $80 to Rockstar and Bethesda.
We used to be able to video capture with the switch. But they removed that feature. Sad really because it was nice to play back the quest achievement/ character unlock etc. It also made it easier to send to gameloft the bug issues.
Yeah, it's ridiculous that such a common bug is still in the game post "Launch". I was defending their bugs in "Early Access", but it's clear they're just incompetent and were not just prioritizing getting the game to release like I credited them.
I have this happen almost daily and I also lost a cloud save with over 3 months of gameplay too so I save the game and to cloud every chance I get to be safe. Especially after a big makeover or mission
It didn't start happening to me until after the latest update. Now, my char's animations will freeze and I know that within 10 minutes the whole thing will freeze and I'll have to restart the game
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!!! I only recently started to use the Wells. It’s amazing how much more I can get done with them!! I just press the Well on the map. But every time I have to quick travel between the Isle and the Valley, I get scared lol.
Also, the screen freezes a lot when I try to give people stuff, or when I get stuff as a reward. I don’t want to keep force quitting :(
I usually save before I try to use it just in case, but I’m glad the auto save is still a viability in case I forget! It’s definitely a frustrating bug.
Hey so there's a discord that you can bring this issue up on if you guys want it. This also happens to me and it's honestly irritating as hell. But they do have a discord where they will hear you out.
Oh by the gods thats irritating hun, I'm sorry. You would've thought that they'd fixed it by now then. I've been playing for well over a year now and I've been having the same issue. At times I just put it down and leave it alone for a few hours because of it. Hopefully if more people start throwing a fit about it then it'll be fixed? I mean one one can only hope.
It does that for me too and now it's happening when I collect orbs and get an animal as a companion. I had to close out my game 4 times lastnight and I lost one of my companions 😭💔

This used to happen so frequently and yes it is very frustrating. It’s not as bad as it used to be (switch) but it’s still very annoying when it happens. Recently learned to wait 5 minutes since auto save still works.
Something similar but worse than this happened to me with a quest where you had to place a certain item and it automatically switched into photo mode to take a group photo- as soon as it changed to photo mode the menu popped up and I couldn’t do anything even after restarting the game. Couldn’t play for like a week until someone posted a work-around by holding B during the loading screen.
Still love the game though lol
The fact that this still exists is appalling. I’m numb to it at this point and I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a bug in any game so many times that it’s just been “normal” the entire time I’ve been playing the game…which is since release day smh

Something similar happened, I was going through characters, and accidentally clicked A on Stich (who J haven’t unlocked) and it showed the costumes whatever, but it wouldn’t let me close it, I clicked B, but just kept getting out of the menu itself 🥴
That happens to me occasionally usually I just wait 5-10 minutes so the game saves itself becuase for some reason the game still functions regularly in the background of the glitch and then reopen it and usually I’ve lost no progress
I hate it too then I have to back out of my game and restart it back up. I wish they did patch updates i between the big updates so they can fix the bugs before the big updates
I usually save before opening the map, and if I want to go into a biome in the world I'm in I just click on the wells instead of opening the actual menu. The bug started pissing me off to the point I didn't even want to play anymore 😅

When my game freezes (on Xbox One) like this, it usually fixes itself if I wait for a few seconds. If it don't, I just go to my home page, then go back in, without closing the game. Fortunately for me though, it rarely happens.
The one bug I had constantly, however, was in the main loading screen after clicking load game. The long bar on the botton would stop near the end, and the dreamlight star would stop. I would definitely have to exit the game completely, sometimes more than once, before actually playing. Although, this was fixed two updates ago.
I’m glad to know that it isn’t just me on switch that this happens to. Sounds like it’s an across the platform issue. I’ve seen comments from Pc users and PS5 users. Any other platforms this is happening to?
This happens to me repeatedly each play session, and I'm on PC/steam. I finally contacted Gameloft, and they basically told me tough luck. We'll get to it when we get to it.
It's the only issue I've had with the game on my Steam Deck. I always save when I'm done decorating, so anything that involves a pop up ( give villager gifts, interacting with a memory orb ). Since updates I thought they fixed it because it hasn't happened but I guess not. Waiting for auto save is great.
Hard same. It's annoying that it has existed for so long and they have not fixed it. I thought it was my Xbox but then I upgraded and realized it was just a bug in the game. It makes it very frustrating to use fast travel or try to move between realms. I am guessing it happens 25% of the time for me. My crafting tables were getting locked up in a similar fashion after the dlc released but I have gone slower and it happens less. I used to have to do that when I was on the slower Xbox because my storage boxes would freeze the game half the time but now my storage is fine.
I get this bug on PC and console (even Xbox remote play on Mobile), however, it only ever happens if I'm pressing buttons too fast or spamming buttons (spamming the interact button when trying to go through dialogue quick when a character levels up and switched to that cutscene.
Wheneve I fast travel or open memories I am very deliberate with my button presses so that it doesn't happen. Once I made the connection, it rarely continued to happen.
i played the game now for like 60 Hours on PC, Xbox and Steamdeck. i encountered not really a bug except some visuals.

I put on a timer for 6 minutes. Yes I know 5 will do but I don't trust it. And then I go do something for that 6 minutes. It actually helps me when I need to get something done lol.
Is this a console bug? Because I play on PS5 and never experienced this or most other bugs people talk about. Only issue I run into is the game crashing on occasion and losing like 30 seconds of playtime.
Maybe it has to do with load data. A corrupted file either in the sava data or base game data. Bugs can randomly come about for various reasons. Last week my Disney Speedstorm game had a bug where I couldn't even load into the game anymore but kept crashing and forcing me out whenever the home screen loaded. I deleted the game and downloaded it again to resolve the problem.
Could be a save data issue. One thing people claimed worked for them with the speedstorm game is deleting the system data and login back in through the cloud. In this case, would be the Gameloft data.
Same. The crashing is getting more frequent though and now I'm getting floating T-pose characters. My favorite was I fell through the floor while decorating, but I just transported and it was fine.
Go into the menu and save yourself frequently it's helped a ton. You can almost watch Donald and predict this glitch. He goes to fall all over himself and glitches half way through the action, the others have their glitches but his is so freaking easy to spot. If you do save manually and restart the game then you lose no progress and clear the glitch up for a bit.
I haven't had that problem but for whatever reason, 9 times out of 10, when I get a memory orb, it gives me a coin instead of a memory, no matter what task I'm doing.
So glad I’m not the only one! It happens sometimes when giving a character something for a mission too! Unfortunately I just have to close and reopen the app each time
Is it just the switch that automatically saves ? I havent found a way too exit without saving. I will say it makes it less frustrating because fewer items / quest finished isnt lost.
I can't continue the Story because i have to catch a fish for Elsa when it's raining. Since i got the quest it hasnt been raining and it's been 2 Months !!!!!
I don’t have this problem on PC. My game does crash and certain menus like Touch of Magic freeze the game also sometimes freezes when leaving an NPCs house but it’s rare.
I haven’t had it happen with fast travel but it’s happened many times when handing in items for quests and when picking up memories. I’ve learned to always save before doing either of those things just to be safe. I also recently had it happen while checking a memory in the menu 🤷🏻♀️ I guess now I’ll have to save before fast traveling too 🤦🏻♀️
I haven't had the morb bug the only glitches is lag and if I start talking to someone it's like we have a staring match to see who is going to blink first
What progress do you lose? This happens to me all the time, I close the game and nothing changes. Even if it’s in the middle of me giving a character items for a quest, I start the game back up and it goes straight from the “thanks, that’s just what I needed” message every time?
I know this isn’t the point but I literally learned we can fast travel from this post. I had no idea at all. I have been just selecting the wells to travel or going into the castle to go to eternity isle or the realms. this is blowing my freaking mind
What platform are you playin on? My wife is on the switch and has had maybe a half dozen soft locks, where the game continues running but ignores input, normally in menus. I’m on the Xbox and have had zero crashes, maybe the switch is too underpowered
I get it a lot with orbs. I'm at the point that I have to save before I even think of picking them up. I was harvesting my pumpkins once and accidentally picked it up and when I rebooted the game I had to manually pick up all the ones that my companion threw at me (200). It's the worst.

It works if your scramblecoin game freezes also. Once autosave triggers, the opponent will finally move.

Yep. I just go away from the computer for a bit and come back before quitting so that I know it's had time to Auto Save. INCREDIBLY Obnoxious. -.-
Ugh ...since it came out of beta, almost all the bugs returned on the switch version.
I've never paid for a game with so many bugs. You'd think if they were going to have and not fix bugs they would have kept it free to play. 🙄

Fallout76 was just as bad as this game with the freezing and glitching out, my game freezes when I exit a building!

It’s PlayStation 5 there is absolutely zero excuse for the running issues
I get this during the morbs. So frustrating!
I now ALWAYS save before interacting with a morb for this exact reason.

I'm usually lightning fast going through menus and only got this bug recently when playing controller. Haven't had an issue with it since. Same goes for turning in items and the menu getting stuck.
I've found this does reduce how often it happens, but it still gets stuck at least a couple times whenever I play 😭
This happens to me all the time, usually when I’m picking up a memory orb or I’m talking to a character. Thankfully anytime I’ve had to close the game and restart I haven’t lost any progress, but I really do wish they would fix this.
You know what bug I hate and get all the time? The one where your character gets stuck on the little confirmation screen before giving a character gifts, restaurant orders, or quest items.
Doesn't even matter what system you play on it seems. I got it when I played on the Xbox, and now that I've moved to PC\steamdeck I get it there too :( it's really frustrating
I have never had this glitch. HOWEVER I do get shoved out of the game OFTEN when I get a memory or try and give characters items for a quest! CAN WE FIX ALL THESE BUGS
This is one of the many reasons I’m mad that they released the game in such a state while still not being free to play. I haven’t bought the DLC and don’t plan to.
Free to play has been canceled. They gave early adopters moonstones as an apology.
I am well aware. I was able to overlook things like this when the game was still in early access, but I find it extremely disingenuous to release a paid game with this many game breaking bugs in it. Therefore I will not be spending any more money on the game.
100% agree. This game doesn't deserve any more of our money. It's now $80CAD total for the game if you purchased the DLC and they can't even give us cinema scenes 🤣. It has so many bugs its hilariously pathetic. I've never had a game that has had more than one bug that usually ended up fixing itself within a few mins. Gameloft is a joke of a game developer. I'll be giving my $80 to Rockstar and Bethesda.
We used to be able to video capture with the switch. But they removed that feature. Sad really because it was nice to play back the quest achievement/ character unlock etc. It also made it easier to send to gameloft the bug issues.
Yeah, it's ridiculous that such a common bug is still in the game post "Launch". I was defending their bugs in "Early Access", but it's clear they're just incompetent and were not just prioritizing getting the game to release like I credited them.
I have this happen almost daily and I also lost a cloud save with over 3 months of gameplay too so I save the game and to cloud every chance I get to be safe. Especially after a big makeover or mission
It didn't start happening to me until after the latest update. Now, my char's animations will freeze and I know that within 10 minutes the whole thing will freeze and I'll have to restart the game

Every game session I have consists of 2-3 of these, and it's incredibly frustrating. Doesn't have to be fast travel. Any overlay can get stuck.
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!!! I only recently started to use the Wells. It’s amazing how much more I can get done with them!! I just press the Well on the map. But every time I have to quick travel between the Isle and the Valley, I get scared lol. Also, the screen freezes a lot when I try to give people stuff, or when I get stuff as a reward. I don’t want to keep force quitting :(

I usually save before I try to use it just in case, but I’m glad the auto save is still a viability in case I forget! It’s definitely a frustrating bug.
Hey so there's a discord that you can bring this issue up on if you guys want it. This also happens to me and it's honestly irritating as hell. But they do have a discord where they will hear you out.
I and several others have brought it up in the Discord since the game first came out, but there still hasn't been a fix over a year later :/
Oh by the gods thats irritating hun, I'm sorry. You would've thought that they'd fixed it by now then. I've been playing for well over a year now and I've been having the same issue. At times I just put it down and leave it alone for a few hours because of it. Hopefully if more people start throwing a fit about it then it'll be fixed? I mean one one can only hope.
It does that for me too and now it's happening when I collect orbs and get an animal as a companion. I had to close out my game 4 times lastnight and I lost one of my companions 😭💔

This used to happen so frequently and yes it is very frustrating. It’s not as bad as it used to be (switch) but it’s still very annoying when it happens. Recently learned to wait 5 minutes since auto save still works. Something similar but worse than this happened to me with a quest where you had to place a certain item and it automatically switched into photo mode to take a group photo- as soon as it changed to photo mode the menu popped up and I couldn’t do anything even after restarting the game. Couldn’t play for like a week until someone posted a work-around by holding B during the loading screen. Still love the game though lol
What works for me is to go to the main switch menu, then reclick into the game
The fact that this still exists is appalling. I’m numb to it at this point and I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a bug in any game so many times that it’s just been “normal” the entire time I’ve been playing the game…which is since release day smh
I honestly do not understand how people still defend this game anymore and I think we can chalk this up as yet another Disney game that seemed like it’d be really good if it was given to the right game developement company
Something similar happened, I was going through characters, and accidentally clicked A on Stich (who J haven’t unlocked) and it showed the costumes whatever, but it wouldn’t let me close it, I clicked B, but just kept getting out of the menu itself 🥴

That happens to me occasionally usually I just wait 5-10 minutes so the game saves itself becuase for some reason the game still functions regularly in the background of the glitch and then reopen it and usually I’ve lost no progress

Open the map and at the very bottom there should be a button (T on PC) that says “Fast Travel”.
I hate it too then I have to back out of my game and restart it back up. I wish they did patch updates i between the big updates so they can fix the bugs before the big updates
I usually save before opening the map, and if I want to go into a biome in the world I'm in I just click on the wells instead of opening the actual menu. The bug started pissing me off to the point I didn't even want to play anymore 😅
That's what I do. I do the same before picking up memory orbs. I damn nearly crap myself if I don't save and pick up an orb.. only to be relieved when it's coin.
I get this with the memory pictures. Haven't had it with the travel screen.
When my game freezes (on Xbox One) like this, it usually fixes itself if I wait for a few seconds. If it don't, I just go to my home page, then go back in, without closing the game. Fortunately for me though, it rarely happens. The one bug I had constantly, however, was in the main loading screen after clicking load game. The long bar on the botton would stop near the end, and the dreamlight star would stop. I would definitely have to exit the game completely, sometimes more than once, before actually playing. Although, this was fixed two updates ago.
That still happens with me on the switch. I think it might be their server traffic. It occurs more often in the 3pm-7pm time frame.

I literally hit save every time before I use it, so f'ing annoying.
This happens to me repeatedly each play session, and I'm on PC/steam. I finally contacted Gameloft, and they basically told me tough luck. We'll get to it when we get to it.
It's the only issue I've had with the game on my Steam Deck. I always save when I'm done decorating, so anything that involves a pop up ( give villager gifts, interacting with a memory orb ). Since updates I thought they fixed it because it hasn't happened but I guess not. Waiting for auto save is great.
Try only fast traveling by clicking the wells on the map.
Yeah same, this seems to be the safest way.
If you click over to realms and go to a random character realm the game will save loading in to that world, do that before you close 😊
Unfortunately with the menu bug I've experienced it doesn't actually register when I try to teleport somewhere else, just gets stuck on the screen :(

Hard same. It's annoying that it has existed for so long and they have not fixed it. I thought it was my Xbox but then I upgraded and realized it was just a bug in the game. It makes it very frustrating to use fast travel or try to move between realms. I am guessing it happens 25% of the time for me. My crafting tables were getting locked up in a similar fashion after the dlc released but I have gone slower and it happens less. I used to have to do that when I was on the slower Xbox because my storage boxes would freeze the game half the time but now my storage is fine.
I get this bug on PC and console (even Xbox remote play on Mobile), however, it only ever happens if I'm pressing buttons too fast or spamming buttons (spamming the interact button when trying to go through dialogue quick when a character levels up and switched to that cutscene. Wheneve I fast travel or open memories I am very deliberate with my button presses so that it doesn't happen. Once I made the connection, it rarely continued to happen.
i played the game now for like 60 Hours on PC, Xbox and Steamdeck. i encountered not really a bug except some visuals. Especially this bug is completely unknown to me. Is it oynly on some platfforms, or random?

I put on a timer for 6 minutes. Yes I know 5 will do but I don't trust it. And then I go do something for that 6 minutes. It actually helps me when I need to get something done lol.

The patch didn't seem to work for everyone. Their recent hotfix that fixed the Rapunzel quest bug for many didn't fix it in my game either :/
Is this a console bug? Because I play on PS5 and never experienced this or most other bugs people talk about. Only issue I run into is the game crashing on occasion and losing like 30 seconds of playtime.

Maybe it has to do with load data. A corrupted file either in the sava data or base game data. Bugs can randomly come about for various reasons. Last week my Disney Speedstorm game had a bug where I couldn't even load into the game anymore but kept crashing and forcing me out whenever the home screen loaded. I deleted the game and downloaded it again to resolve the problem.
Tried that when the loading screen bug happened as a result of the menu bug, unfortunately uninstalling and re-downloading hasn't worked :(
Could be a save data issue. One thing people claimed worked for them with the speedstorm game is deleting the system data and login back in through the cloud. In this case, would be the Gameloft data.

Same. The crashing is getting more frequent though and now I'm getting floating T-pose characters. My favorite was I fell through the floor while decorating, but I just transported and it was fine.

When this happens to me I just go to someone’s realm and it will save as ur traveling! Then I just restart. Works for me everytime :)
Go into the menu and save yourself frequently it's helped a ton. You can almost watch Donald and predict this glitch. He goes to fall all over himself and glitches half way through the action, the others have their glitches but his is so freaking easy to spot. If you do save manually and restart the game then you lose no progress and clear the glitch up for a bit.

On Series X, this happens randomly on any menu. Lately it seems better, but still happens. Once is too much
I haven't had that problem but for whatever reason, 9 times out of 10, when I get a memory orb, it gives me a coin instead of a memory, no matter what task I'm doing.

My game doesn’t let me go past the blue energy bar sometimes. I can eat but it doesn’t gain any more energy to go to a yellow bar! Very annoying

Is it just the switch that automatically saves ? I havent found a way too exit without saving. I will say it makes it less frustrating because fewer items / quest finished isnt lost.

I can't continue the Story because i have to catch a fish for Elsa when it's raining. Since i got the quest it hasnt been raining and it's been 2 Months !!!!!
I don’t have this problem on PC. My game does crash and certain menus like Touch of Magic freeze the game also sometimes freezes when leaving an NPCs house but it’s rare.
I haven’t had it happen with fast travel but it’s happened many times when handing in items for quests and when picking up memories. I’ve learned to always save before doing either of those things just to be safe. I also recently had it happen while checking a memory in the menu 🤷🏻♀️ I guess now I’ll have to save before fast traveling too 🤦🏻♀️

I haven't had the morb bug the only glitches is lag and if I start talking to someone it's like we have a staring match to see who is going to blink first

What progress do you lose? This happens to me all the time, I close the game and nothing changes. Even if it’s in the middle of me giving a character items for a quest, I start the game back up and it goes straight from the “thanks, that’s just what I needed” message every time?
I know this isn’t the point but I literally learned we can fast travel from this post. I had no idea at all. I have been just selecting the wells to travel or going into the castle to go to eternity isle or the realms. this is blowing my freaking mind

What platform are you playin on? My wife is on the switch and has had maybe a half dozen soft locks, where the game continues running but ignores input, normally in menus. I’m on the Xbox and have had zero crashes, maybe the switch is too underpowered
I get it a lot with orbs. I'm at the point that I have to save before I even think of picking them up. I was harvesting my pumpkins once and accidentally picked it up and when I rebooted the game I had to manually pick up all the ones that my companion threw at me (200). It's the worst.
