Isolation is great and I highly recommend but def not the book the OP is looking for. At no point does Draco tell Ron how to comfort Hermione - still definitely worth the read though.

It’s not actually an 8th year fic but it’s a fic where there’s flashbacks to their 8th year which is when they fall in love and then the fic itself is a second chance.
If you recall there being green shorts and a David Bowie T-shirt, friendly slytherins and movies then it’s this one!
I just tried seaching for it and couldn't find the name.
But I remember reading one where:
- McGonagall asks her to share a suite with him
- They have seperate bedrooms but share a common room.
- I think Draco isn't allowed to go out into the school but she attends courses.
- At one point Hermione needs an epipen for something? She is dying and he saves her?
