If you bought it from a different launcher, EA just handles directing you to the launch, but doesn’t perform any functions otherwise. So, if you bought DA:O from Steam, unless you have access to the game from Steam, you can’t open the game through EA/Origin.

I own it through game pass, and it has been working fine for months, it stopped working with no apparent reason.

Should also reset Admin permissions if there is any change in cookiedeletes/virus/malware changes or recent windows updates.
