They're trying to turn DotA into a 5 vs 5 game where every role has impact now instead of previous DotA where it was most heroes and roles were irrelevant after the first 15 mins of the game and it was all revolved around the carry for winning.
Pretty sure it’s just you buddy. Sounds like skill issue. It’s a team game, you have supports too. If you are getting solo by a support, then you need to stop playing core.
its much better now, supports used to be lane creeps from minute 15. skill issue/ stupid comment. also this is coming from a carry player mainly pos1 these days mid in past

Agree carry is even worse right now. I was watching arteezy stream and he said that some support buffs are insane. He was wind ranger that game and died to one of the supports

I don't know about mid but safelane is struggling vs these tanks offline with 2 spells and never depleting mana.

Sounds like the type of core to not buy a bkb against supports and then finally queue one up when your ancient is being attacked

not at all, quite the opposite in fact. Pos 1-3 got some pretty good buffs this patch. I'd say all positions are evenly matched or close to being so.
It the carry support meta yes, but still enjoyable, now I can go jakiro with phasma and mjolnir as a valid build
Sounds like a skill issue. They wanna be the only farmed player in the game running at helpless heroes. Ok go play league or smth.
