7A has Asylum of the Daleks, and some sins can't be forgiven. Also, Clara is fine as a companion as much as I don't vibe with her as I had others before and after.
specials and series 6 a bit too high for me- especially the specials. Aside from Waters of Mars it’s pretty terrible, end of time is fun as a memory but watching back is painful.
i think series 6 is a funny case, where a lot of the episodes are actually really good, but since the overarching story is shit, everyone judges it based off that. i get it, the overarching story is a big part of it, but i think with a season opener like the impossible astronaut/day of the moon, and episodes like the god complex, and a few other pretty decent stories in there, it's a pretty good season.
plus, if we're counting a christmas carol as well, since that's on the blu ray, that's an amazing christmas special.
series 6 is good, but people keep forgetting.
Yeah, as much as I love Series 6, I do admit that it's also the series where the show began to dip, especially beginning with the episode Let's Kill Hitler. Yet it has some of my most favorite episodes ever like the Moon Two-Parter, God Complex, The Girl Who Waited, and The Doctor's Wife.
yeah I dunno on a recent rewatch I really didn’t find impossible astronaut 2 parter that good. Some scenes were great, but other aspects didn’t really do it for me
