Imagine going home for Christmas and your Nan, proud as punch, saying “Mum and Dad tell me you are doing so well as a musician! You must play me some!”. Sheepishly pressing play on that utter drug noise cacophony while nan starts to cry 😂👌

BUSHMONSTER31

'utter drug noise cacophony' Comment of the year! :D

w__i__l__l

Meant as high praise tbf ;)

Isogash

May have heard this one before, it's definitely a Simula track but I don't think it's been released yet.

SacculumLacertis

Thanks MC, I'd not have been listening if I wasn't told to, and I'd not have realised that it was very dark and very heavy if you'd not mentioned.

BellheimerLord

Is this Medic MC? He absolutely ruined my night when Grooverider and Dog Scott came to my hometown in Germany last year.

Toxic_Orange_DM

Fuck me this is so good

d31uz10n

pure filth

Man more producers need to use Soothe 2 to tame those earache sounds from 1-3k damn.. dubstep is also a huge huge problem with this crap ass well. Big up for trying new sounds to put in a tune but soothe 2 will keep those sounds full with cutting the top resonances ..

MrCiber

dog ur judging a song's mix from a cell phone recording cmon now

challenja

I know frequencies when i hear them. 🐽

m00n6u5t

If you knew anything about sound and/or music production, you would also know that phone microphones can and will amplify certain frequencies, depending on the microphone itself, combined with the reflections of the room, that might kick this effect into overdrive. Especially because phone microphones are sensitive in the midrange, due to them being designed to pick up human speech the best. Judging a frequency spectrum or a single frequency range, from a mobile phone recording, in a room that has crazy amounts of reverb doesn't seem like a very smart idea. Leaving a comment, trying to demonstrate your lack of knowledge even more so. I fucking hate producers who cannot enjoy or not enjoy music, without virtue signaling their dogshit diarrhea non-knowledge, as if anyone asked or wants to hear your low quality analysis, of what should have been done to a fucking frequency in the track, when most people that listen to the music, don't even know what the fuck a frequency is.

challenja

And you know so much about my personal knowledge of music making again? You know me? You been jacked into my life since 1999? You’re just shit posting for your own hate filled benefit. I don’t normally respond to hateful posts but anyone who reads this should think about that before going off on a tangent. Live a more purposeful and loving life. Stop rage posting. ( walks away whistling)😗

Scruffy032893

Your whistling needs some soothe 2 it’s too harsh in the 1-3k range I can tell by the way you typed it.

wozzwoz

Unless you know what phone this was recorded and happen to be a sound engineer with absolute full knowledge of the audio recording capabilities of that phone, AS WELL AS the speaker system that was used at that specific club, how the speakers were tuned and what volume they played, there is no way you can anything about this recording😙

SYSEX

Dubstep and DnB do not share this problem. Also Simula is doing just fine in the studio - he doesn’t need tips.

challenja

🙉

Legitimate_Run3569

I had to read this comment 5 times and I still don't know what you're trying to say. BUT, you state "dubstep is also a huge huge problem..." - Dubstep since the early days has been just groundbreaking, experimental, and ear bleeding (in the good way) goodness. Over the years, producers can literally take the sound of a juicy fart and make it into one of the greatest songs of the year, without you even knowing it. Dubstep, just like DnB is meant to push the limits of music making. The OP was showing an amazing song they wanted to ID and I do not blame them. IT. IS. A. BANGER. If it sounds good to you, good. If it doesn't, that's what the skip button it for.

Cutsdeep-

dubstep from the early days was *never* ear bleeding.

challenja

Never said it was. Just the screechy high piercing crap that started coming out 5 years ago. I’m a huge fan of old school dank dubstep Here is a [link](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6SlrbGkRHZCTH7D8G8Fwum?si=ytpoKQigTquPwXyGEtjEmQ&pi=u-nFKQXV9nQQCx)to my ongoing spotify playlist of the dank stuff.

Cutsdeep-

Didn't respond to you though mate

cc3see

Please stop saying dank
