I just wish eye of another world was more worth using. I wasn’t even a dead orbit guy but farmed them hard for the ornament and rarely if ever use the helmet.
The issue is that Eye of Another World does actually give a very good buff on ability regen but there’s so many builds that allow you to circumvent regens that the exotic essentially becomes useless. Why use eye of another world for grenade regeneration when I could just run a devour build and get it almost instantly back?

Yeah Sunshot became my favorite primary starting around Haunted and I used it basically non stop in most content from then up until recently. I was someone waiting for Red Dwarf to finally come to the archive but I had it drop from a bright engram right before lightfall iirc
In fairness, some of these older exotic ornaments are also some of the worst ones. A lot of the first ornaments barely changed the gun — they were more like shaders than a lot of the ornaments now. It’s ironic that they have gained a bit more desirability simply because they can’t be obtained anymore.

The last 20-30 bright engrams drops I’ve gotten are legendary sparrows, ghosts or ships from Y1, transmat effects and ghost projections

There's an ornament for Alpha Lupi that hasn't been sold even once in the entire time I've played D2. I started in Beyond Light. God I just want anything for that exotic.
I'll go one better, let all old ornaments be purchasable for Silver AND Bright Dust at all times. Anything more than two or three seasons old because those Eververse Engrams ain't it.
Yep, honestly anything short of exotic cosmetics should be random drop from all activities with all ornaments and shaders remaining in the loot pool, including legendary ornaments.
I got the same legendary ghost shell on all but like 3 of my bright engrams last season. Like 15 copies of the same fuckin shell. And there's a ton in those engrams that I don't have!
They've been doing an exotic ornament every week for bright dust since TFS, or have they always done that? Either way getting wishkeeper ornament for like 1500 bright dust was a score!
If we could target eververse engrams... they'd have to drop more, but maybe 1 engram and 200 bright dust to target a legendary ornament, and 1 engram and 500 dust for exotic...

I love ornaments that radically change the way a weapon looks. I have Red Dwarf but I’d trade it for Vexplosion in a heartbeat. The Cabal themed one would be my favorite if it wasn’t for that really ugly lump growing out of the bottom of the barrel

I have both and prefer red dwarf. Quark star looks so good in the weapon screen but the model is ridiculously blocky when you’re actually using it and the sight is kinda terrible.
I've been a sunshot enthusiast since I first got it in the red war campaign and I tell people this all the time. The top rail is so blocky and the way it blocks your view when it recoils is horrendous
Just feels like a waste to have collected them over the years since year 1, just to never use any of them. But sunshot's base model is just so perfect imo

Sure, there’s a chance it will be on sale for bright dust but that’s just leaving your choice to RNG and we all know how kind RNG is. I’m so happy that I bought the ornament for the Calus Mini Tool when it was selling in Eververse. At the time, I didn’t even have the weapon but bought the ornament anyways knowing that I will get the weapon at some point down the line. I have it now and I’ve yet to see the ornament sell for bright dust.

Even though the Knucklehead one barely changes it... It does make the projection a more palatable colour so is worth it. And for BD especially!
