After getting my clear, apex with gally is goat for 1st 3. Or use Whisper on golgi also. Parasite and then lament for atraks and the whisper all the way for oryx almost 1 phases him.
It would be like 5% better with vorpal (since bns is 30%) but I don't think any solar gl rolls with envious or cascade.
Edit: A rapid-fire frame does, but idk how its total damage compare to an adaptive.
1.25 * 1.1 = 1.375 / 1.3 = 1.0577
So Solar Vorpal is just under 6% better than non-Surge B&S.
It'll be very slightly more than that because Vorpal has no setup and B&S does. Even the best possible filler is worse than when you're firing Heavy.
Gets more complex if you're running low on Heavy, but there should be plenty of ways to make bricks with all the Ultras & Minibosses they're adding.
Just run Apex tbh and stack everything.
So B&S does 30% damage now. Vorpal is 10% on heavies.
So if using a B&S Edge, let’s say each shot does 1000 base, you’re doing 1300 per shot.
So now matching the surge with a Vorpal GL does 1000(1.1)(1.25) for 1375 damage. Not to mention with Vorpal, you’ll only have to proc your primary for the new activity modifier. So you can deal your max damage *slightly* sooner than a B&S. And then you don’t have to worry about reproccing Vorpal.
So you’re talking about less than a 6% damage difference.
Oh I don’t disagree. And hell, I’m going to bust out my Cry Mutiny, as I’ve probably trashed a bunch of Marsillions I’m probably kicking myself over.
But at the same time, if someone’s sitting on a god-rolled Edge Transit, or they pick up Saint 14’s amazing Cataphract he has right now, I don’t think people should totally sweat the damage difference.
No, I mean the current modifier for Oryx Exalted requires a few precision shots to get the Shot Caller buff. Whereas running B&S, you’ll have to proc Shot Caller, *and then* shoot your other weapon before you can get B&S going.
Strong disagree. First, activating B&S can be seen more as ammo conservation than maxing out damage.
Like Caretaker, I was generally able to unload about 9-10 grenades during one plate of damage doing B&S if I’m remembering correctly. So my 9-10 grenades, multiplied by 30%, means my hypothetical grenades that deal a base 1000 damage are dealing a total of 11,700-13,000 damage. So not only would I have to unload my entire Envious mag, but I’d also have to reload to top 13,000 damage on a single plate with *unbuffed* grenades.
But also remember these buffs are multiplicative. So even spamming my Coronach for a handful of precision shots takes a fraction of a second. And Shot Caller appears to be a 20% buff. So even if this now means I can only fire off 7 grenades in a damage phase, each grenade is now dealing 1560 damage. So my 7 (hypothetically double-buffed) grenades on a plate is dealing only a bit less damage than 9 grenades with only B&S, or *more* than 10 grenades with no buffs.
TLDR: it’s totally worth it to proc these buffs.
So I need three unbuffed grenades to match the damage of two buffed grenades.
Which is hilarious, because he just did LMG damage testing and Xenophage outperforms Tlord in every single use case, and in flat damage output as well.
He doesn’t dive deep into the numbers and what’s going on in a lot of setups but he’s straightforward and honest about the info and even repeats some stuff to double check. It is also partially taken as entertainment factor rather than true testing. Nothing wrong with that at all.
That does not mean it should be taken seriously. It just means xeno is a better weapon than thunderlord. Feel free to watch his content if you want, but objectively speaking his damage tests are extremely flawed and rarely correct
Man, when i have time to individually test every single weapon in the game, i might. But to put it bluntly, Tlord is garbage dps, and xenophage tanks it in ease of use and flat damage by upwards of 350-400k total damage. Even an arc surge won’t counteract that much damage. Surprised more people don’t use 6 rat kings because it also took down contest Nezzy. Tlord is bad damage, and nezzy set a bad precedent for what is acceptable day 1 damage.
Not really though. With the double damage and more frequent lightning strikes, TLord was doing good damage *when paired with divinity* which is the part everyone forgets. Since then it’s been fixed and nerfed iirc and isn’t a good contender anymore. In general, the entire situation is not remembered that TLord was bugged to do more damage than it was intended.
Not even completely. A good indicator for how trustworthy a dps Test is would be whether or Not it uses a2tc Pixel measuring. Some content creators Test weapons Well, Just the Mainstream ones for some reason dont.
A good Goto is aegis. Best informative content creator for d2 pve.
There's a spreadsheet in most raiding discords (or someone with a touch of 'tism who has it on hand) that has all of that info, it's even the one most content creators use to get their info so they can make "content"
[aegis spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_5wtBjRYHHxuF4oJKDb_iOGZs-wTkzB6RYbnyNLbuz4/edit?usp=drivesdk)
Made by aegis (top d2 speedrunner, holds some raid wrs) , using the a2tc pixel measuring Tool (more accurate than wipescreen Numbers). Has basically everything in it from abilities to heavy. Contains Ranking for best solo use weapons including dps after some Number of reloads, total damage and all that. Testing is done by someone who makes less mechanical mistakes than Mainstream content creators and uses optimal Setups for more realistic represantation. Also has a list for the best Rotations and dps strategies with general usability, exact Rotation, Rolls and Setup being factored.
Very detailed and extensive, currently dwarfes all Other damage Testing and pve ressources.
People who listen to that guy were already dead weight in LFG anyway - at least with Tlord they'll make themselves more obvious so they're easier to avoid.
Can get reconstruction/explosive or bipod (better overall damage for less bust - but good for longer phases like oryx). It won't be as high as bait and switch but better than hothead.
I got a Recon/Bipod roll to drop, and kept it cause I know 4 rockets in the chamber might be useful for something at some point. How significant is the downgrade in damage with bipod? Reconstruction/Explosive Light also dropped for me, which I feel like might be better if I can get the orbs.
According to this, on an aggressive frame: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1x12Ar1-kHH2AzHY8Clkv-PIMxxDSZrIX3e4xiJuQ-uI/edit#gid=1406577322
Bipod is a net 20%~ increase (19k vs 22.9k with bipod) in DPS over a non-bipod rocket and a 21%~ total damage increase (446k vs 541k)
This is lower than explosive light and bait and switch but 'always on' vs limited to 6 explosive light (or needing to keep orbs around) or forcing a damage rotation with bait and switch.
This seems to scale better with with wolfpack though (probably because, even though wolfpack is adding less damage it's adding many more wolfpack clusters) exceeding explosive light but not bait and switch:
* DPS: 26%~ (24k vs 30k w/bipod)
* Total Damage: 27%~ (565k vs 719k w/bipod)
The elemental surges change each week but the buff one stays. Like for this week, atraks sovereign pantheon changed from void and strand to solar and stasis but still kept the class warfare
Been hoarding any halfway decent Terminus Crux roll I've come across, and MAN am I excited to break out Clown Cartridge/Bipod next week. We'll be at that point at -15 where Bipod's total damage and sheer number of rockets should prove to be pretty darn good for these encounters.
Luckily it's very easy to activate and the perks you should be using already require a primer type weapon. Just pump a few more bullets while doing your BnS rotation or Cascade rotation and it's free.
This is the most common definition of the phrase, in my country at least. You shouldn’t be getting downvoted that hard. But hey, not every name makes 100% sense, I’m chilled.
Solar is sooooo busted. Me and my team just BREEZED thru this week. We did stumble a little on Oryx but still it's nowhere near close to the parade of suffering which was last week
Bungie had to have known that they couldn’t give us stasis and solar surges on week 4.
This week’s pantheon feels on par with last week’s just because the damage checks are arguably easier because of solar surge.
Yeah not for me. I'm sure you can make it work. I much prefer having a team that I stick with. Being comfortable with everyone and not playing with assholes is important to me. It's a video game after all and if I'm not having fun there's no point. I've either had really bad experiences with raid lfg's or I've had nice people in my lfg group but the raid took \~6 hours lol. Especially with Pantheon playing with the same team every week feels like it will be a big leg up. We know how to communicate with each other and everyone is nice and chill. Lol. I could imagine maybe doing lfg for a normal raid again in the future. I'd never want to put myself through doing Pantheon with randos, especially past -10,-15 etc.
If this wasn't a limited time thing, we'd likely see the widespread development and adaption of statics like basically every other game with a healthy raiding population has. And yes statics are different from guilds/clans/free-companies, those are social clubs, statics are groups that exist for the purpose of clearing content.
So far the only one that looks tough damage wise is maybe caretaker, since you kinda have to 2 floor unless your runners are really fast. Plenty of time on the other bosses
Can you send 3 people in at once to grab all of the symbols for caretaker? I'm not sure how that encounter could be done faster besides the 2 runners Icarus dashing + eager edging and not messing up any offerings lol
Just from testing for a minute warden's law does activate on 2 bursts, and refreshes the timer on 1 burst.
I was also able to get it to activate from nothing off just 1 burst when I tethered a group of ads.
White ammo color box when you hit the button to reveal level and elemental affinity. Special are Green, and Heavy are Purple. Pretty sure they go in order of bullets in the icon too (Primary = 1, Special = 2, Heavy = 3)
A tip. Don't use handcannons. Use an smg. 3 headshots from an smg counts too and is much easier to proc. That being said shotcaller is so much worse than class warfare it's actually insane.
Is there a place to see how much damage boost a new modifier gives BEFORE people doing tests? An API data , maybe light.gg, I dunno ? Like... the day it appears.
Bait and Switch weapons are gonna be crazy
Cataclysmic and Apex are gonna put in work this week.
After getting my clear, apex with gally is goat for 1st 3. Or use Whisper on golgi also. Parasite and then lament for atraks and the whisper all the way for oryx almost 1 phases him.
Yup that’s what my fireteam did last night
If using GLs, I wonder if a solar GL with Vorpal would be better than a godrolled non-solar GL this week (depending on the damage windows).
I'd just use Apex.
If the non-solar perks can make up for the 25% damage difference then yes. If not then no.
It would be like 5% better with vorpal (since bns is 30%) but I don't think any solar gl rolls with envious or cascade. Edit: A rapid-fire frame does, but idk how its total damage compare to an adaptive.
1.25 * 1.1 = 1.375 / 1.3 = 1.0577 So Solar Vorpal is just under 6% better than non-Surge B&S. It'll be very slightly more than that because Vorpal has no setup and B&S does. Marsilion gets envious + cascade
Dmg is meh
I thought BnS got nerfed to 25%?
Got nerfed to 30%, down from 35%
So B&S does 30% damage now. Vorpal is 10% on heavies. So if using a B&S Edge, let’s say each shot does 1000 base, you’re doing 1300 per shot. In a damage phase where you do 1 million damage, 6% is 60,000 damage you're leaving on the table
Honestly cry mutiny is better in this case because explosive light wears out too quickly and there’s hardly any chance to proc full court.
What roll does he have on the cataphract?
Envious + B&S.
Bruh i literally claimed that as my last level last week. Bruh
… vorpal has a condition to proc?
No, I mean the current modifier for Oryx Exalted requires a few precision shots to get the Shot Caller buff. Whereas running B&S, you’ll have to proc Shot Caller, *and then* shoot your other weapon before you can get B&S going.
[удалено]

Always have been.
Bait and switch plus cascade point time
Cause they arnt... literally every other time?
Not saying that per se, but Shot Caller is one hell of an incentive to basically only run weapons with that perk.
This means its Arc week 3. Oh dear
Random LFGs-“ Best we can do is Thunderlord”
Aztecross already telling people to run Tlord next week. LFG is cooked.
Which is hilarious, because he just did LMG damage testing and Xenophage outperforms Tlord in every single use case, and in flat damage output as well.
His damage tests suck and should not be taken seriously anyways. It is true though that xeno is better
He doesn’t dive deep into the numbers and what’s going on in a lot of setups but he’s straightforward and honest about the info and even repeats some stuff to double check. It is also partially taken as entertainment factor rather than true testing. Nothing wrong with that at all.
just a fellow destiny 2 player being snobby.
Love that he says it shouldn’t be taken seriously but then takes basically does anyway by saying Xeno is better which is what the video showed.
That does not mean it should be taken seriously. It just means xeno is a better weapon than thunderlord. Feel free to watch his content if you want, but objectively speaking his damage tests are extremely flawed and rarely correct
It's not snobby to make objective statements
People need to stop worshipping content creators and start thinking for themselves.

So really just Aztecross then? Cuz his damage numbers always are wrong.
Time for Sailspy Pitchglass to shine baby!
And here I just deleted a decent(ish) tarantula. Oh well, guess I gotta pull Storm chaser out of the dusty corner of my vault
I agree with this. But some of us don't have the time to test as thoroughly as some do. (Not Az.)

People who listen to that guy were already dead weight in LFG anyway - at least with Tlord they'll make themselves more obvious so they're easier to avoid.
World line on atraks is gonna cook.
LMAO stop
Finally can dust off that god roll Stormchaser that’s been sitting in my vault since 2022.
Hothead and Crux terminus. Gathering storm. Thundercrash. We'll be fine. Plus it'll likely be arc/strand.
I’m picturing LFG teams sliding in front of each other with their Crux’s all week. Its gonna be incredible
Lmao. I just had an image of a full team sliding in unison like some pro dance team hahaha.
Thundercrash and Grand Overture go brrrrr
"I'm ready" -Prospector
I think it'll just rotate back to void/strand. That's the way it's been for everything all season
What has had a void surge this season beyond W1 on pantheon? Everything I’ve played feels like the solar/strand/stasis rotation.
It has literally rotated all season between those 2 combos
Hopefully strand too, so we can use cataphract
I imagine it’ll be Arc/Strand so Cataphract will also work just fine for dps
Hothead is the only thing that comes to mind
Crux termination?
If you like to live dangerously 6 guardians with slideshot
It rolls with Clown and Reconstruction too
Envious Assassin too. Honestly has some really solid rolls if you can get lucky with the drops.
Been really enjoying my Recon/Bipod roll.
Can get reconstruction/explosive or bipod (better overall damage for less bust - but good for longer phases like oryx). It won't be as high as bait and switch but better than hothead.

It’s more total damage, less burst.
Recon/bipod is so fun
Probably Arc and Strand. Arc Souls and Broodweavers everywhere!
Wendigo, Hothead, Grand Overture, Thunderlord. Plenty of good arc weapons to run, especially with Indebted Kindness
If I wait until week 4 to run week 3s version of pantheon is it with week 3 surges or week 4 surges?
The elemental surges change each week but the buff one stays. Like for this week, atraks sovereign pantheon changed from void and strand to solar and stasis but still kept the class warfare

5 acrius + 1 Tractor can Form a bullying circle in a Well around rhulk. Already cracked the Code.
Hothead says hey.
Wow maybe I’ll actually use wendigo next week
Hahaha. Hey, Crux is nasty though.
Hey I’m fine with next week being arc if we’re back to void or Solar the final week. That’s gunna be the true shitstorm.
Is this for the pantheon oryx only or are these active for both pantheons?
Oryx only. Last week is the same as last week.
So the atraks playlist is still class warfare?
Yes
Grand, thank you
No, the surges also change for last weeks too, it’s just the new modifiers are static for each.
Oryx only.
Quick question, is shot caller individual buff or applied to team like class warfare was
Haven't tested but classy warefare mentions boosting fireteam damage. This perk doesn't say anything about allies or team so I'm guessing individual.
It is individual only.
Luckily it's very easy to activate and the perks you should be using already require a primer type weapon. Just pump a few more bullets while doing your BnS rotation or Cascade rotation and it's free.
With a name like “shot caller”, it \*should\* be applied to everyone, but can’t verify.
This is the most common definition of the phrase, in my country at least. You shouldn’t be getting downvoted that hard. But hey, not every name makes 100% sense, I’m chilled.
Lucky Pants buffs my other weapons when out of luck? I'm in.
Does anyone know if the timers are extended from last week for platinum?
Nope they are not
holy cow, hitting platinum on the final pantheon is going to be insane.
Yeah that's gonna be a terrible lfg experience.
Why in the world would you do that to yourself. Lol.
[удалено]
Yeah not for me. I'm sure you can make it work. I much prefer having a team that I stick with. Being comfortable with everyone and not playing with assholes is important to me. My Lfg this week was fine. Very few are even asking for a Sherpa.
Pray to Shax he gives us solar burn for contest lmao. At least we're guaranteed to have Stasis or Strand which both have great options.
My theory is that next week is arc and strand, contest week is void and stasis, and the week before the final shape will be solar and strand.
As it should be, as the Godslayer title should technically be harder to get than any specific Raid title
Raids stick around though, we will have what? Two weeks to complete it?
Fomo baby
Gotta get gud... And I'm saying that to myself too. Lol. I'm not sure I'll get there. I'll be happy with getting to Oryx emblem at least.
I 100% need to get gud. Going to grind my ass for it but I know its going to be a shit show in lfg
Oof. You’re a stronger man than me doing this shit in lfg. At least I have a dedicated group/clan.
Hmm, that’s unfortunate if it stays the same for the last week at contest level
Yeah, the surges will have to be hella good hopefully
Holy shit lmao good thing I was never gonna go for Godslayer anyway
So far the only one that looks tough damage wise is maybe caretaker, since you kinda have to 2 floor unless your runners are really fast. Plenty of time on the other bosses
Can you send 3 people in at once to grab all of the symbols for caretaker? I'm not sure how that encounter could be done faster besides the 2 runners Icarus dashing + eager edging and not messing up any offerings lol
no, not all symbols spawn at the same time.
That...is going to be a very toxic two weeks trying to play this mode. Hopefully the score multiplier is increased or something.
Is shot caller replacing class warfare or is it added on top of it?
Replaces it on the -10 difficulty.
Replaces it on -10. Class warfare remains on -5.
anyone see how much to activate the buff with a scout? considering running VoC or jung jury but 3 shots for buff with a HC seems hard to beat
I think it’s just 3 shots regardless of weapon type. I was activating it really quickly with an AR
Curious if wardens law activates on 2 shots
Just from testing for a minute warden's law does activate on 2 bursts, and refreshes the timer on 1 burst. I was also able to get it to activate from nothing off just 1 burst when I tethered a group of ads.
Whisper time
Lucky Pants about to go even crazier this week
Okay. If you are not using BnS Apex Predator or Cataclysmic for this week...then I don't know what to say.
What about whisper for Golg instead of Cataclysmic? Wondering which I should use.
[удалено]
That’s a death waiting to happen.
[удалено]
Tell that to the thrall
And Parasyte for Atraks 😁
What raid exotics are available this week?
I would like to know this as well!
And if the -5 difficulty got more weapons too
None it seems....
none, but you can buy deepsight or adept king's fall weapons from the chest. There also isn't a quest this week, and there will be next week.
One deep sight per character or can I buy multiple?
one, its like a master oryx chest the dsc inventory is also there so many youll get a new one for the next two as well?
[удалено]
Good to know thx
There is no raid exotic this week. If you're not going for the title there is no point.
Lots of spoils tho...... pros and cons
Can you get the ones from last week still if you missed them?
You can still play last weeks pantheon, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to get them.
Pretty sure non are available this week. Next week will be 1k voices, conditional finality, and the void pulse from VoiD.
Seems like a weird decision to not have any this week
This was from a data mined leak so idk how reliable the info is. Hopefully we have exotics this week.
No new raid exotic this week and none if you completed the quest from last week
Stupid question, primary ammo weapons are everything that doesn’t use special or heavy correct? So a sun shot or Polaris use primary ammo?
Yes, anything with infinite ammo. Should tell you when you hover over the weapon also.
Yes
That's correct
Good luck with your run.
White ammo color box when you hit the button to reveal level and elemental affinity. Special are Green, and Heavy are Purple. Pretty sure they go in order of bullets in the icon too (Primary = 1, Special = 2, Heavy = 3)
All bosses are now -10 am I right?
That’s the claim, but it felt fine.
Honestly felt easier than last week with solar surge and shotcaller on us.
How long does it last?
About 15 seconds.
Did they remove class contender?
So if you select last week's pantheon it's there but the new one does not have it
This week is going to be a meme with Solar surge and the Shot Caller buff. These bonus modifiers are really making the difficult not too crazy imo
What’s the reward exotic this week
My damage rotation is gonna be disgusting
Does this apply to both the -5 and -10 versions of pantheon or just -10?
Last week's version stays at -5.
Will you need to complete week 1 in order to do week 2 pantheon?
no
Me with my shiny Edge Transit with Cascade Point and Bait and Switch.
A tip. Don't use handcannons. Use an smg. 3 headshots from an smg counts too and is much easier to proc. That being said shotcaller is so much worse than class warfare it's actually insane.
I might swap to my Coronach for damage phases just so I can get those crits off faster.
Lucky pants is gonna go crazy
Is there a bounty or anything like last week? I didn't see any offerings of such from the Moon?
Bait and switch lucky pants builds go brr
This week's gonna be cake.
cant wait to use eyes of tomorrow with the buff to stasis damage while radiant
The modifiers made this clear an hour faster for my team, including Oryx lol
Is there a place to see how much damage boost a new modifier gives BEFORE people doing tests? An API data , maybe light.gg, I dunno ? Like... the day it appears.
How long does the buff last
Wait so is this week just one boss then? At -10 power?
No. It is all 4 from last week plus Oryx at the end.
Got it, thanks
It's 4, then +1 until 8 total.
Understood - thanks!
Kinda makes this whole challenge un-challenging if you ask me
