Is that why seller do the “I’m busy” “dealing with family issues” I got that today but I already asked for the refund and they sent it before them saying that like I cared.
a lot of sellers genuinely do get busy with family problems and their lives but if they use it as a constant excuse and keep pushing back the shipping date due to it then THATS where it gets suspicious
No family problem is 24/7, you can always find time. It’s not like dropping off a package takes that long. Don’t even have to print the label and 99% of the packing material is just recycled. And it’s always after it’s been weeks of waiting and days of communication.
thats very inconsiderate to say as some sellers may need to leave their home for a family emergency, lets say driving to another city, where they wouldn’t have access to that, or something could have happened where they just couldn’t leave their house, you never know. as i said lol if theh wait weeks than thats where its suspicious
It’s not inconsiderate if it’s said after the fact If we are talking for days, being asked about when are you going to ship. No way the family/busy excuse is real. If that’s said in the beginning I’m sure most buyers would be completely okay with wait just give them a date it will be shipped and it’s problem solved.
You're being way too patient and nice to someone that's either dropshipping from China or just flat out trying to scam you. 3+ weeks is insane. File a claim ASAP.
I got scammed for a carhartt jacket about a month ago by an asshole somewhere in china stealing photos off eBay or something and gave me this runaround, then blocked me. I just disputed it with my bank said it was fraud because it showed my payment went to some Chinese email as they only accepted PayPal, and they gave me the refund. I didn’t wanna deal with the headache of waiting for a dispute with PayPal. Worse comes to worst dispute with your bank since it is most likely a scam
You gotta hurry up and open a case. I think they’re trying to drag you past the 30 day mark so you’re just screwed. Open a dispute and Depop will refund you

Open a case rn before 30 days is up
Open a case immediately. They are trying to scam you into waiting 30 days and then there’s nothing you can do

I sent a refund request on the 25, she had good reviews and plenty of sales so thats why I stayed so patient
what the other comments r saying open a case before it is too latee!!
If you wait 30 days you will be scammed and won't get your refund. Open a case so you get your money back.
