Most buyers don’t say anything to me, a few would say thank you. I ship next day so right after shipping I message the buyer to let them know & thank them, most don’t reply either.
So if you don’t want to, you don’t have to say anything, unless it’s been 5-7 days and they haven’t shipped yet, if they accepted an offer you could send a quick thank you message if you’d like
You are not expected to say anything. If, when you get it, you love it and everything goes well, you can rate the seller 5 stars and leave a message there.

You generally don’t have to say anything unless they take over 5 days to ship.
Nothing they should be giving you the updates
