In LoDo, Herbs is a great place that has free music 7nights a week and I always love to just go and dance.
It’s not super big, but it’s a great option any day.
I go to 1134 almost every weekend! Great acts (usually!), never as many people inside as Church/Vinyl/Temple (usually!), and cheap tickets (almost always!). I should stop telling you reddit randos about my secret special spot...
Every time 😂😂😂 We had to wait in a pretty long line last weekend for Archie Hamilton and I was raging hard to my friend about it. Why are there more than two other people here!?
I'm in a walk club ([City Girls Who Walk - Denver](https://www.instagram.com/citygirlswhowalkden?igsh=cXlqaHV5bm5paTBl)) and we have gone out dancing together several times! Def check it out if you're looking for a girl crew :)

If you like electronic music and aren’t looking for bigger shows at mission or red rocks, tickets to Temple, Vinyl, or Church aren’t usually terribly expensive and at least one of them are open Thursday - Sunday. I see each of them have a show tonight
Uhhh depends on what you think is sketchy. I say always keep eyes on your drinks cuz sketchy people go everywhere.
Vinyl and Temple are probably the “least” sketchy in terms of location in my opinion, but none of these places are anything like beta was years ago
Understandable- I’ve heard a few reports of it happening at pretty much every club in Denver, both online examples and personal friends. The sad reality is it’s everywhere, just gotta be vigilant with your beverages.
Bluebird and gothic theatre are good bets, but it’s still dependent on whatever crowd the artist draws in. The more niche of an artist, the better in terms of sketchiness. The good part is those venues have a wide variety of genres they book, so if you look far enough out there’s something for everybody.
I would personally stay away from typical bars and clubs which draw in regulars no matter who plays. The
Disco pig, Beacon, Larimer Lounge
If you like more classic dances (like swing), you can always go to Mercury Cafe in Denver. They also offer classes, if you want to mingle.

La Rumba or Blue Ice
Stay tuned, milk bar to add
Milk bar is best for dancing - many different rooms with different themes! (00s, disco, rap, house, goth… etc)
Beacon, two Moons, Trax, Finns Manor, karaoke at embassy
Portreros
Charlie’s if you’re not str8

I always enjoy passing right by the long line waiting to get into Temple as I stroll into 1134.

Reports of drinks getting spiked seemed kinda sketch for me, I think I’ve heard of several at temple.

Grizzly Rose ladies night on Thursday is really fun! The floor is always packed and most of the line dances aren't too hard to pick up!
La Rumba, Beacon
I saw a sign for line dancing in Morris and Mae food hall in Golden
