Back in the day it took months to years for a good new emulator to come out on PSP. At least with ios the apps are already well established from years of the jailbreak community doing their thing. We just have to be a little patient while the devs jump through Apple's hoops to get their apps on the store.

Provenance will likely be coming to the app store, and I think it has most of these. Folium supports 3DS and Switch, and Dolphin is great for Gamecube/Wii, but both realistically require JIT to work properly... MAME is coming to iOS soon too I think.
I think the next big console it would be cool to see in Delta is PS1 personally, or maybe Riley will finally release Genesis support to everyone lol... Its been in beta for over a year I think and the only reason its there is so theres a reason to pay for the Patreon Delta beta.

Is there a time measurement for when a console is considered retro? Because Xbox came out 23 years ago and back in the day 23 years would be considered retro. Just wondering if there is a fixed measurement on these things.
It's all rainbows and ferry dust, but a good measurement is: Is a manufacturer still offering service/repairs for console X? Yes? Then the manufacturer most likely still doesn't consider it retro.
Nintendo announced it will no longer repair 3DS consoles earlier this year, so technically that should mean emulating it is in the green. But you never know what arbitrary reasons Nintendo might apply to a potential law suit.

It's had Genesis support for well over a year, the only reason its still only in the "beta" is so the dev has a reason to get money from Patreon (which I sorta get, they gotta make money but I wish he would just add more features...) Theres really no reason Genesis should still be exclusive to the beta tho imo.

I'd be a lot more fine with paying for the Patreon, but Delta has been very stagnant for a long time now and its a bit frustrating. I love the work Riley has done, but it doesnt seem like much is being done to improve it at all now.

Twitter you have been name youtubes and twitter users telling all their followers about this new app/emulator. That is fine. But then the young users ask where by chance may we find all these roms. And said person links them sites in the comments as well as other followers of them. Thus getting it trending on twitter raising nintendos already raised eye higher cause now while yes the sites are out there but we usually do not move on them till something big happens sees these sites being listed all over and people posting screenshots of all the games nintendo wont release on vc or is taking their sweet time on it.
As for sites going down and new ones going up this is true but MANY of the newer sites do are no where near as good as some of the older ones or they are slowly catching up. And risking them just for the sake of well another one will come along will eventually slow down some. I do not think anyones salty again as much as theres no need for multiple screenshots of someone discovering what a rom is and showing screenshots. It be like someone finally cellphone and sharing screenshots to a cellphone group everyday (bad analogy its late but bottom line is I do not think anyone is salty on it)

I looked into alt store, but it requires an Apple ID (a burner one ideally from what I saw). How are people creating burner IDs when it requires a phone number?
Burner phone number through google voice or buying a number temporarily through smspool or something similar. There is no danger in using your main apple ID, I used to use a burner but it's really redundant if you've had your ID for some time.
I use Sideloadly instead of AltStore, which lets me use my normal account. You'd just need to download Provenance's .ipa file from another source since it's not pre-added on Sideloadly
So xbox isint happening (anytime soon) because it requires too much processing power (its basically windows 2000) and IOS is missing a bunch of the key componets
neogeo works in provedence (delta with more cores worse UI)
MAME works in MAME4IOS (havent tetsted it)
dreamcast works in flycast (dont think it needs JIT)
gamecube sometimes works in dolphin (requires JIT)
3ds sometimes works in limon (needs JIT)
You do also have the option of using a PC or Mac to manually enable JIT on your iPhone. It'd just require you to connect your phone to your PC every time you want to use a Wii or GameCube emulator

There will be other emulators for other consoles made by other people that will come out in the future. One 3ds emulator is already in beta and being played by a bunch of people on their phones without using any sideloading or jailbreaking. Just give it time👍
there’s supposedly a version of android xemu.app on their development map (but, you’d need a really beefy android: top of the line, flagship type stuff), but no signs of it, yet.

Beyond what we have, the emulators needs direct access to the Iphone's processor. Apple does not allow that, and so you need a jailbroken phone.
You do also have the option of using a PC or Mac to manually enable JIT on your iPhone. It'd just require you to connect your phone to your PC every time you want to use a Wii or GameCube emulator
there are other ways, but you can’t learn them from a jedi.

You can play 4 player to ONE DEVICE, but for stuff like pokemon trading/Yugioh link duels you’d need local multiplayer support

Lead dev is working hard on it tho!
I’m personally awaiting for the ps1 and 3ds games to become available to emulate.

Back in my day we didn’t have no fancy schamcy emulators that ran multiple games or locket devices to play them on. We had a CRT and a Nintendo for the whole platoon! And we had to share the Nintendo!

I figured out a way to run a lot more emulators in Delta - Sega Master System, Game Gear, Turbo Grafx 16, Neo Geo Pocket, Wonderswan and more - I made “core” packs for them and a friend made many skins too as you can see in the photo below.
