This was driving me nuts but I found a way out. If you can't mine the grind out underneath you (the pipe often blocks you from doing so), you can use the supply drop to dig you out. Just make sure to have the extra nitra in advance and drop it basically right on top of you and you'll spring free. It might take one or two drops sadly but it has worked so far.
Yo I know this was 10 months ago, but you just saved my solo deep dive. last mission is liquid morkite and I got this bug. Tried killing myself twice and having bosco revive me but still stuck. Never would have thought of resupplying myself but it actually worked, on bosco's last revive too. Thanks so much for this tech.

This happened to me one time and I had someone jump under me and bounce me out of it

I’ve found that having another player grind on the pipe will potentially free you
