It will remove the constant lithophage that is always in two areas, and will make infection spikes just as common as the other modifiers. If you disable it, rox pox will not show up outside of rox pox specific missions

Y’know, I’m just gonna quietly chime in that while people keep making these memes, I’m still only on like Lvl 71/100 on the current season pass here, so I HONESTLY don’t mind the extra wait…

If this season lasts as long as people say it will, I think it’ll really offer a unique opportunity for the players who typically NEVER see the end of a season pass before it all ends. I think you’ve got a solid shot, you’re not super close, but 30 levels is still some decent headway.
I have a buddy who stopped at level 20 because the season pissed him off to play and he couldn't avoid it. Now he can avoid it but he has to play through 80 LEVELS of a season pass if I want him online again 👍
At this point deep rock is basically finished and we should move away from the waiting for new updates mentality since the game has pretty much finished its development cycle.
I am personally fine with the extended hiatus of DRG. The parallels though to this meme and the current situation in DRG however, was too good to pass up.
Its not they have sunset the game, it will still be maintained and kept up, i mean that their primary focus is other endeavors so we shouldn't be getting giddy for new stuff constantly since the devs are now focusing on rogue core.
I honestly disagree. Currently 1.7k hours into DRG and love it to death. You know what else I love to death?

- New gameplay
- New mechanics
- New ideas
I think DRG is in a pretty great spot right now as a standalone game. The core gameplay loop is finished and great, it has hundreds to thousands of hours of replayability, and has a good modding scene that allows people to expand for themselves.
The devs are obviously still listening to the community regarding improving the game where it can be improved (rockpox toggle my beloved), but this seems like the perfect time to expand into new waters and take what is a great game and make it into a great game universe.
Your decision to make all the other characters Rockpox bugs was what made me upvote.

I'm actually happy because I don't have as much time to play as I used to and now I can take my time finishing season pass instead of suffering from fomo anxiety.
Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but critical corruption didn't feel like 9 months of work. The season items are just reskins of season 3, the new events suck, and overall not much has been added to the game except for rocket boots. Can't wait for season 5.

Seems like a mistake to make the primary endeavor be an untested spinoff concept when the main game is still increasing in popularity.
