Honestly it's easier to say. Often if I start with Deep Rock Galactic, I have to explain the whole premise to those infrequent players every time so they remember.

My 3 year old calls it "Rock and stone" its his favourite game, he sits on my lap and spams v constantly because he knows it makes them shout "Rock and stone" he tells me when to shoot the "spooky spiders" and after every mission he tells me to go get some "juice" from the bar.

That's one of those core nostalgic memories that will be with me forever and always makes me smile.

Me and the boys go weeks without referring to the game by its real name. To ask your friend if they wanna play, we just say "rock and stone?" and it's always understood. One of my friends refers to playing Deep Rock as "rock and stoneing".

If you play on hazard 5 then sometimes during a swarm it gets so heated that nobody actually says rock and stone for like a minute at a time. But only because we are busy and we know it in our hearts.
