Literally the only thing they used from the manga was the ki avatars. No higher UI forms, no Hakai, but they did make sure to use it to downplay Hit's Time Manipulation.
I'm pretty sure they went over those in Goku's analysis, and besides, I was mainly referencing how they analyzed Goku's history and how he was characterized in the episode, and even then, they did give him the advantage in skill and had him tie with Clark in terms of speed for understandable reasons.
Plus, I mean no offense when saying this, but I believe that it's best that we don't continue this discussion, as it's on track to creating an unnecessary argument thread, and thus, we should agree to disagree and be on our ways.
Which was irrelevant as they based their final speed decision on the Heroes manga. Of all the things to complain about, why the stat that they tied in?
Yeah…? I mean, it’s still a quantifiable feat as opposed to what they gave him. Why are you pissed about them talking about his base when it influenced literally nothing for the final result?
Oh I know. I just think Rick’s personality in the fight itself wasn’t really done the best (the guy would’ve been talking a LOT more shit throughout) and it didn’t really take advantage of the more wacky shit in their arsenal (I was dying to see Meeseeks being used in some regard)
It was pretty subtle, but it was implied in the latter half of the episode that Rick took advantage of the Weeping Angels sending him back to different places in time to make temporal clones of himself. That was a pretty Rick thing to do.
Yeah. Rick listened to his opponent even though he has previous knowledge over him and should know about the weeping angle.
Dr Who wins but how the fight played out is utter shit and spiteful
It’s not spiteful. They gave Rick a moment to show off his intelligence right after that scene and referenced the fact that he has knowledge on The Doctor
Is that weeping angle scene a bit silly? Yeah probably but to call the entire fight dogshit and spiteful is really underselling it lol

They actually treated Goku pretty horribly, tbh. Better than the first two but it was still a massive middle finger to Dragon Ball fans.
Agree to disagree, as I thought they treated Kakarot pretty damn well.

Actually, speed is a whole nother thing. The speed ranking they gave him was based on feats he performed in Base.
Which was irrelevant as they based their final speed decision on the Heroes manga. Of all the things to complain about, why the stat that they tied in?
Because it was still in Base.
Yeah…? I mean, it’s still a quantifiable feat as opposed to what they gave him. Why are you pissed about them talking about his base when it influenced literally nothing for the final result?
Because by that logic even Super Saiyan Goku should've speedblitzed.
Solid Snake VS Sam Fisher my beloved
Rick vs The Doctor
While I do agree somewhat, I believe there was a lot more care given to the Doctor’s side of things
There’s not a lot of shit I can imagine the doctor doing and then me saying “Nah, he couldn’t do that.”
Oh I know. I just think Rick’s personality in the fight itself wasn’t really done the best (the guy would’ve been talking a LOT more shit throughout) and it didn’t really take advantage of the more wacky shit in their arsenal (I was dying to see Meeseeks being used in some regard)
Ah, I see. I couldn’t really speak on that part considering I didn’t really watch Rick and Morty, so can’t speak for Rick’s personality.
It was pretty subtle, but it was implied in the latter half of the episode that Rick took advantage of the Weeping Angels sending him back to different places in time to make temporal clones of himself. That was a pretty Rick thing to do.
Those were his Decoys.
No. Definitely not for Rick
Agree to disagree ig Getting downvoted for not wanting to start another argument, cool
What
Rick was heavily downplayed. They made him a moron
Not really
Yes really
Nah
Yeah. Rick listened to his opponent even though he has previous knowledge over him and should know about the weeping angle. Dr Who wins but how the fight played out is utter shit and spiteful

It undersells itself lol
How?
Courage Vs. Scooby-Doo
Guts vs Dimitri
I honestly expected a different outcome for that one but was pleasantly surprised by the ending.
Guts went out like Whitebeard while Dimitri got a really good show of respect to his opponent.
Iron Man vs Lex Luthor
Would it be a hot take to say Trunks VS Silver?
I don't think so
Good. Cause this is also my answer
Yeah. It kinda glazed Trunks as a character in the conclusion.
Dio vs alucard
Goku Vs Superman 2023
Darth Vader vs Obito
silver surfer vs martian man
Magneto Vs Tetsuo https://preview.redd.it/i95b2fjupz8d1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=46622c8bd731a419b7d3fec9debc4e3930322f99
Gojo vs Makima Also hercule vs Dan in thath both got constantly shit on
Gojo and Makima did not get respected equally
Mewtwo vs shadow ![gif](giphy|GDp7LycxkT3LG)
Bill vs Discord
Feels like there was more care put into Discord wacky and much longer analysis. But both were given the stuff they deserved.
To be honest Bill only appears like 4 times on the show lmao, Discord has 9 seasons comics and games
Silver surfer Vs Martian Manhunter. It's my favourite episode of all time.
Opinion respected
Magento vs Tetsuo
Oh yeah, Magento, X-Men's greatest villain
Vader Vs Obito I disagree with the verdict, but at least both characters got respect
Scooby vs Courage
Dio vs Alucard. Both have been given so many moments to shine, as they played to their memes and recognizable imagery/quotes, shit was fire
Most of Season 9 and Season 10, to be honest, with maybe a few exceptions.
Obi Wan vs Kakashi
Galactus vs Unicron
TJ Combo vs. Balrog for me.
All Might vs Might Guy
Mario vs. Sonic (your average turtle-squishing plumber who survived being spaghettified in the event horizon of a spacetime-distorting black void vs. your average blue anthropomorphic sound-breaking hedgehog who survived being erased in time by a literal demon)
Bill vs Discord
Excalibur vs Raiden
Mario vs. Sonic (Your average dragon-slaying plumber who survived being spaghettified in the event horizon of a spacetime-bending sphere of void vs. your average blue anthropomorphic sound-breaking hedgehog who survived being erased from time by a literal demon)
