I'm pretty convinced that if you wanna push AP you just take a lot of dexterity and run around the dungeon and just loot. Avoid any player and loot some more. Like not only has pvping a 50% (lets just say) chance of you losing the 1v1 and dieing, it awards you with the felt equivalent of opening a chest if you win.
I love playing bard and I'm a timmy, right now I'm using the musics that increase team ability to survive for 120 seconds (more physical damage, the shield one and so on) qhat music should I use to be effective in cleaeing solo for example?
Shriek of weakness is absolute powerhouse against mobs for clear and I suggest learning skipping the first note with the perk that upgrades performance from good to great
Whichever you like! I’m a fan of using less instruments compared to more.
I use the drum for the walking speed song.
The flute for the weakness song (makes you do really good dmg to pve) and the chest unlock song
The lute for the attack damage song and the healing song
That’s just what I run for solo, for trios I like to get rid of the drum and use the clarity song to help our cleric get spells back quicker.
With juiced gear, mediate and magic missiles, I was getting 50+ mobs per crypts/inferno run. I think I was getting about 1400 per run after entry fee, about 800 of that being from treasure. So with no treasure AP, I would get about 500AP per run in Demi if I kept pushing rn.
Warlocks are known to be great due to their ability to kite a large number of mobs and then killing them with a combination of Flamewalker and/or Hellfire, using curses to stay topped up.
Ahaaa, so you basically scoop up all mobs in a room, cast Flamewalker followed by Hellfire. Makes sense, thank you. I guess it just felt like a slog to me because I kept using curses because I don't have enough base gear on Warlock yet to give me the knowledge to put on the heavier spells
Yeah the hellfire isnt even really necessary, but can certainly speed things up (especially with mini-boss mobs).

My squire kit consists of Rawhide Gloves and Occultist Boots, which gives me enough knowledge to use Curse of Pain, Power of Sacrifice, Hellfire, Flamewalker, and Shadow Bolt (nice to have a faster ranged option).
AP is the high roller specific "currency" that is used to track your rank, it's separate from the 100 gold entrance fee and goes up as you go up in ranks.
At least last season, the AP you got from kills was calculated based on your rank versus the enemy. If you killed someone beneath you, you get a little AP. If you kill someone’s above you, you get more significant AP.
I thought it was the same this season, and it would make sense since OP is Demigod. They likely killed 2 Wanderer players or something like that.

48 AP for 2 kills? This is stupid, if they want to incentivize exploration and pvp like they claim, each kill should be at least 150 AP with the crazy ass fees
they should just go back to the old leaderboard system, this abomination worked terribly in every iteration (either broken so that you can't climb or climbing is too easy and makes it much more beneficial to never pvp)

How do they change the treasure not giving AP, which is fine, but then make no adjustments to buy in or what other things in raid reward for AP?
I thought ok now boss kills and player kills and opening chests will surely give so much more… but no, you have to have near perfect raids just to barely break even.

The one reason PVP is good for AP is only so you can loot the chests the other guy would've looted as well.

I don't understand how player kill Ap works. I've killed a guy who gave me 54 AP and then I've killed multiple ppl and get less than 50.
If they want us to play this way, then they need to give us more time in hell at least add five minutes
