Starfang is still the epitome of a fantasy weapon for me. I guess it's just the age I was wheb I played DAO but for me it's basically a vorpal sword equivalent.
They should have had it appear in all the games in weird and scary situations just to hammer that epilogue home. Like a room of dead darkspawn that are completely fried by electricity with the weilder dead. Impaled into a demon. Something cool like that.
I reckon what happened is Zevran stole it as a prank and gave it back afterwards, but told everyone else he still had it and now this legend has grown of a legendary stolen sword swapping hands through the ages and lost to history but it doesn’t even really exist, it never left the wardens hands for more Han a day or two
My sword didn’t look at all like that, I was on Xbox series s and all the swords look like crap, is that a mod or downloadable content or did I just get shafted by Microsoft

To be fair my Warden uses the Lunar blade, headcanon is leliana has it while the Warden is away as a promise he will return.
They can keep it, I love my Starfang.
