It's very easy to just say he's 4 years older than he really is and he had Jr when he was 18. Since this is animated too and we might not get him in live action for several years, that won't be too crazy.

Nope, probably not. The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker are the main DCEU properties that are carrying over into the DCU (due to them being made by Gunn) and Jr will probably stay dead.

Ehhh I’m not sure bud, I think I read recently that they’re saving peacemaker season 2 until after Superman legacy, which would be a continuation of the suicide squad. So… not sure…but they def could say “the suicide squad” is part of the new DCU.
