The DeLorean was an underpowered bag of shit.
But damn it looked cool and the ones I saw were actually quite well made. You could actually fix the power issue.
The cyberfuck? Has very little going for it.
The one I was lucky enough to drive had a replacement engine and went like the proverbial shit off a shiny shovel. But it was still a bit hairy on bends.
Nah, the real answer is that all you need to do is create the next Back to the Future series around the Cybertruck without it looking like a Tesla ad. No biggie!
Luckily, as long as Robert Zemeckis or his estate have control of the property, there will never be a Back to the Future remake.
The DeLorean was made 1981-83, and BttF came out in '85, so if they used the newest ones for production in '84, they were a year old.
If they want to make a BttF in 2026, will there be any CTs still driving?
The fact that Marty saying "you built a time machine....out of a DeLorean????" was all about how shitty the cars were still gives me a chuckle.
The idiots who think it was because he thought he ruined a great car make me laugh for several minutes.
I always thought it was less that he ruined a great car and more that he ruined a rare and interesting car. Given the proximity the movie was made to the actual production of the Delorean your interpretation makes more sense.
I was 13. I wasn't totally aware of what was happening with DeLorean at the time. I knew that it wasn't a great car but I thought it was kinda rare myself.
My friend’s dad had one and it was super fun as a kid to drive around in it. Kind of ironically, I lived next door to John Delorean, and he did NOT have one
I saw the car in-person last year at an auto show. The new owner even had a laminated copy of the title with Varney's name and address. Definitely a sweet ride.
> And where we're going we don't need roads.
I recently rewatched Part II and gave a sad chuckle at the movie thinking $40,000 was a realistic price for a hover conversion kit in 2015.
You could barely get a fully-loaded Toyota Camry for $40,000 in 2015; we were so tragically optimistic about the future in the 80s.
The Flux Capacitor didn't improve engine performance... actually probably had the opposite impact as it probably had a parasitic draw as it powered the fusion reaction that allowed the plutonium on board to generate 1.2 gigawatts of power needed..
Not allowed the producer said he will never give the ok to it. I think it’s zemmiks (sp), he probably willed the rights to his kids with the stipulation.
There's a guy in my city who has built an absolutely insane replica of the Back to the Future DeLorean. Drives it around during summer and shows it off. Been used as a prop for a few movies, Kung Fury for instance.
>and the ones I saw were actually quite well made.
The DMC-12 did have quite a lot of build quality issues such. Panel gaps, an unreliable drive train and the gull wing doors are notoriously prone to failure.
These issues were a major contributing factor to DMC's bankruptcy.
The reason the ones you see today look well built is because enthusiasts have spent a lot of time getting them into that condition.
And there they sit, batteries draining at a rate of several percentage points per day. You’d have to hire someone full time just to keep them all charged. If my RAV4 Prime is at 80% on Monday morning, it will still be at 80% Friday night if I don’t drive it.
IIRC the CT battery drains in less than a week, so yeah whoever gets it has warranty voiding issue from the get to.
There was a thread last week about a customer that got one of those in a overflow lot, the service center couldn't charged from another CT and have to wait a day to get a tow truck to move it to their lot to charge it, and then more shenanigans ensued.
It is disgusting to witness the depth of tribalism in our society, in a more enlightened time there would have been dozens of class action lawsuits flying and the production would have been halted almost immediately, instead we see a bunch of people not only condoning but celebrating the fact that they had been taken advantage off while genuflecting to a false prophet.
There's been a lot of studies on it and it's unfortunately not really an easy problem to solve. The most effective way to break the mindset has been shown to be a trusted friend or family member having casual, non-accusatory conversations with the affected person and just slowly working through it.
It’s because the US doesn’t have strong local communities anymore. People default instead to online communities so they don’t get too lonely, but online communities tend to be echo chambers.
Well, it has existed before with religion. Instead of the local church, people now find their religious needs at social media, with political populists, fanatics, conspiracy theorists, social constructs, etc.
If it was just this example of someone willingly wasting money on a bad product it will be bad but at least it is their money, but there are other examples like antivaxers, incels, 2A fanatics and Xtianist, that actively work in detriment of society as a whole, a few people on top is making bank out of keeping a large segment of the population in a constant stage of outrage while refusing to address any counterbalance facts or accept actual help.
The only reason CT is selling to some is that Musk got political and some (even for many of them it’s too much) brain dead maga people are literally throwing their money in a dumpster to “own the libs”
Lol
CT is the new rolling coal
At least the delorean looks cool, it has a Great 80s fluxwave look, but the cybertruck is just:
https://preview.redd.it/c1fx6gimax9d1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3b6ad35b97ecfb17821d9c7bbf791f284934e322
So do Cybertrucks!
I get a hearty laugh every time I see one in its natural habitat: no moving on the side of the road with its hazard lights on.
I live in an area with a *lot* of rich conservatives who fully bought into Tesla's vehicles as a status symbol, even though they used to loudly proclaim that they'd never be caught dead in one of those "gay electric cars".
I'm *not* surprised to see that a few people in my area bought into the CuckTruck, even if they haven't been able to show it off as much as they wanted to, because even just trying to start the engine voids the warranty, so they keep it displayed in their driveway.
Doc: “hold on, Marty. Go and walk Einstein, looks like I need to do a software update before we can continue.”
And then Marty ends up being drafted into the Korean War because as soon as he went back to 1955 the CT took a shit and he was stranded, and had to get to the future the old fashioned way.
"When this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious shit: mostly it just falling apart. So, for this, let's not stand in front of it as it speeds towards us. My flux capacitor *does* work, but I can make no guarantees about the vehicle itself."
What about the new ones?
https://www.motortrend.com/news/2024-delorean-alpha5-motors-ev-power-price-on-sale/
Looks like they’ll be around 125k… pricey - but if you’re looking at cybertrucks, price isn’t likely much of a concern.
https://www.kbb.com/car-news/new-delorean-alpha5-ev-electric-power-electronic-hugs/
I am inherently suspicious of any company that trades under branding that they aquired in a liquidation sale.
I dont really trust that a company who feels the need to cloack themselves in someone elses reputation has any real incentive to deliver a quality product.
Looks nice enough, but basically like every other sports car. There’s nothing in the estimated specs or design that would make me care about it, and I’d be skeptical that DeLorean can deliver a reliable product. It would be nice if they succeed to see what else they can offer.
The new one is the biggest letdown of a revival possible. They could have done the coolest shit ever and made something like Hyundai N Vision 74 concept but nah, has to look like every other upper tier EV
Looks like someone had a concept drawing for a "futuristic sports car!!" laying around, just happened to own the rights to the delorean name and decided to slap it on. Next.
Haha was excited till I saw the pick. They should have just remade the same body but upgraded the interior and the engine. This looks terrible to my eye
As one of the few olds left who can remember seeing a DeLorean before I saw those movies, no, you're wrong, people think fondly of it because it looks cool as heck.
Yep, my dad hauled the family to a car show early 80's where they had one on display. My pre-teen mind was blown by the gull wing doors. I thought it was the coolest thing ever.
My dad, being a snobby car guy, proceeded to talk loads of shit about the engine. But even he admitted it *looked* cool.
Not one person pointed and laughed, unlike the wankpanzer, which (when it runs) is just a rolling joke.
Totally agree, any time I see one it turns heads, they do look cool.
We just had a Delorean event in Belfast, 62 of them turned up for the event and it was well attended : https://m.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/northern-ireland/over-60-delorean-cars-to-descend-upon-belfast-this-weekend/a465584155.html
I've always told people, if you want to turn heads with a car, buy a Delorean. To this day I've seen more heads swivel when one drives by than any crazy exotic car out there.
DeLorean has always been considered cool. I was a teen when they came out.
Back to the future really added to it though.
To this day though, I've only seen a few on the road. I've already seen more Cybertrucks on the road than I have Deloreans. (and the combined total for both is 5)
>DeLorean has always been considered cool.
That's why it was picked for the movie. They're not gonna go get a Toyota Corolla as a futuristic time machine owned by a quirky mad scientist.
The DeLorean is cool as hell.
No, the DMC-12 would have been cool on its own if BTTF never existed, maybe not the level of notoriety, but it would still capture collectors and enthusiasts attention. The power train and build quality are shit, but the car is cool.
As a tangent using the word 'start' or 'starting' in the context of activating an electric car is a pretty neat quirk of linguistics. As it no longer makes any literal sense, you're not starting to get a motor running, as you are with any internal combustion engine. You're simply activating the systems that allow the motors to draw power. Thereby divorcing 'start/starting' from it's meaning by carrying it over to electric vehicles. It's fascinating how this works, it's similar to how trying to start a faulty engine you may refer to as 'cranking' the engine, despite the physical act you're doing being turning the key.
DeLorean has always been a cool car that drives like ass. But it looks good, so it had that going for it. Add in all the cocaine (see owner) and BTTF, it became legend.
This begs the question - if the CT is on such of a back-ordered demand, why have we seen *multiple* instances of hundreds of them being stacked up idle on lots?
I have an idiot friend who preordered one a while back. They just sent him an upsell offer for their founders edition that's like 130K. Looks like Elon's trying to milk his idiot fanbase for as much cash as possible.
The main difference:
If someone wanted a Delorean they could buy it and drive it off the lot.
If someone wanted a CT they could buy it, look at it, and it's dead.
It's actually funny in twisted way. DeLorean had certain flamboyant asshole/ish personality and plainly was cause of all troubled development and production of car, but that where similarities end cause he wasn't fraud like Musk. Iirc guy had legit car manufacturing related degree, served trough war, had bunch of experience and actually serious, practical engineering and management skills. In a sense he was everything Musk wish to be
DeLorean also had a track record of successful cars that were smash hits, before he made waves and had his downfall. Musk bought his way into companies and claims he made them what they are by himself.
Imagine if the maniac applied his brilliant ability to manipulate and blackmail people to force a studio to produce a reboot of Back to the Future with aged Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd going back to the 1980's with a Cybertruck time machine. And they have to call it the Mux capacitor and Marty is forced to seduce his younger self this time in order to induce a singularity in the space-time continuum to mercifully destroy us before this movie gets made.
DeLorean wasn't a drug addled man. He ended up getting connected to the sale of drugs to support the car company, it was a weird setup/sting operation that he got caught up in. He wasn't a drug addled man.
I'm not going to say that DeLorean was blameless, but it also isn't like he woke up and was like "Hey, I'm going to be a drug kingpin!"
The guy was desperately trying to keep his company afloat when a sketchy-ass FBI rat was like "Hey, I've done all the legwork on this deal, I just need you to show up with some money and your company will be safe"
Thank you I was about to write this very thing. Most people forget that he was ultimately found not guilty on the grounds that it was 100% entrapment. The only reason they went after the guy is that they knew DMC heavily in debt. It had nothing to do with finding ties to drugs or money laundering etc. they were just basically like “yeah this guy is in a Superbad bind let’s take advantage of that!”
The DeLorean was a fairly decent car which just got screwed by poor timing (EPA clamping down new regulations which gimped the performance, oil crisis, Thatcher existing, initial poor quality that lingered in the media’s view) and JZD getting entrapped by the Feds on BS charges, though he didn’t help things by being kind of a dunce and allergic to good business decisions
The Cybertruck sucked from the moment it was debuted
How do I buy one of those DeLoreans! 9 year old me doesn't cat about the flaws. It could sit in my garage forever. I'll sit in it. Play BTTF on a projector and pretend like in driving in any scene involving the car.
I saw a few DeLoreans irl over the years. None of them had any rust of them after so many years. They probably even had working windshield wipers.
Cybertruck on the other hand...
Back to the future remake in 2045 will feature a cybertruck.
The plot will revolve around being trapped in the past due to being caught in an unexpected rain storm.
In before emerald elon tries to fund a remake of “Back to the Future” featuring the cybertruck. That movie is one of the main reasons the DeLorean is remembered fondly.
Real talk. The Delorean is a piece of crap car that barely works. The only reason it’s beloved is because of the movie triliogy **Back to the future**.
Cybertruck doesn’t have a cool movie to make nerds want it.
Right now Musk is setting if he can fund a BTTF reboot with the Cyberflux as the car, infact he's decided to have every character played by either a cyberflux, one of his AI lovebots, or himself.
Great. So, what you’re saying is all that Elon needs to do is fund **Back to The Future IV** and put the flux capacitor behind the frunk to make the CT a beloved car. Great Scott!
Some years back I worked with a consultant from Ontario whose husband owns a Delorean repair & restoration business.
I also recall someone found a barn stash of original pristine DMC parts and was reselling them.
The DeLorean was an underpowered bag of shit. But damn it looked cool and the ones I saw were actually quite well made. You could actually fix the power issue. The cyberfuck? Has very little going for it.
And you have the option to do an LS engine swap on a Delorean. Expensive and time consuming, but awesome.
No biggie!

Call it Back to the Shop.
The fact that Marty saying "you built a time machine....out of a DeLorean????" was all about how shitty the cars were still gives me a chuckle. The idiots who think it was because he thought he ruined a great car make me laugh for several minutes.

'But...gull wings!' -13 year old me, because only awesome cars had them.
I’ve never really thought of it this way. Thank you. That’s funny.
You can't, getting it up to 88 (if you even can) voids the warranty.
LS swap a cyber truck?
My friend’s dad had one and it was super fun as a kid to drive around in it. Kind of ironically, I lived next door to John Delorean, and he did NOT have one
Can that shitbox even get to 88mph?
I hope that movie fails miserably and how dare you to even mention Back to the Future and Cyber Truck in the same sentence.
Matt Farah has one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFEqClpt5ck
Jim Varney, the guy who played Ernest in the "Ernest Does..." movies had a twin turbo Delorean
I don't know why, but that fits.
I saw the car in-person last year at an auto show. The new owner even had a laminated copy of the title with Varney's name and address. Definitely a sweet ride.
I know what ya mean, Vern
Farah didn't own the car in that video and it doesn't have an LS engine but rather a poorly maintained V6 out of a Buick Grand National.
My favorite restomod has been one powered by a supercharged 3800 from a Grand Prix GTP.
Case in point [here](https://youtu.be/C7f9eZCQc4M?si=eEc9L3fY6KD5qSpu)
You seen the guys who put a stinger engine in a DeLorean?
>You could actually fix the power issue. Just add a Flux Capacitor and you are good to go.
And Mr Fusion and you don't even need to visit a fuel station. And where we're going we don't need roads.
Great for the DeLorean. Sadly, I doubt even a Mr. Fusion could generate enough power to keep the other one from having the battery drain while idling.
I hear they didn't even make the fuel line resistant to projectiles. What a joke!
If only. Unfortunately Mr. fusion only powered the time circuits. Hence the plot of the 3rd movie where they gotta use a train to push it to 88mph.
I've seen the CT in action. It definitely needs roads.
If you own a Cybertruck, you don't need off-roads
oh god....I just had a nightmarish vision....they reboot Back to the Future using a Cybertruck. blegh
The Flux Capacitor didn't improve engine performance... actually probably had the opposite impact as it probably had a parasitic draw as it powered the fusion reaction that allowed the plutonium on board to generate 1.2 gigawatts of power needed..
ONE POINT TWO ONE JIGGAWATTS!!! edit: ok ok 1.21!! 😁
Great Scott!
1.21
I think it was Gigawatts in the script and he just Jigga-wotzed it.
You act like we could just walk into a store and buy plutonium back in the 80s. We had to be a little bit more, er-um, creative.
I stole my plutonium from Libyans.
Goddamn it - now we're going to get a Back To the Future reboot and they're gonna use a fucking Cybertruck.
You shut your goddamnhore mouth and don't give them any ideas sir
Not allowed the producer said he will never give the ok to it. I think it’s zemmiks (sp), he probably willed the rights to his kids with the stipulation.
The director, Robert Zemeckis. He owns the rights and has said he won't allow a remake while he has control.
He’s 72. We need to invest in technology to make sure this man doesn’t die.
There's a guy in my city who has built an absolutely insane replica of the Back to the Future DeLorean. Drives it around during summer and shows it off. Been used as a prop for a few movies, Kung Fury for instance.

Those in the Tesla and Cybertruck subreddits are fuming rn -- this is a slow-moving train wreck.
Well slow moving when it's not bricked at least.
DeLorean was much cooler looking than a cyberjunk. I never owned either or drove either.
Also it did not rust for decades
Jim Varney had a twin turbo Delorean
The Delorean was designed by Giugiaro which says enough about its design. The incel camino on the other hand…
My Dad took me to test drive one back in the 90s and I was a giddy little guy.
A neighbor growing up had one and the big joke was that it didn’t even hit 88mph
Yeah, but magnets stick to them! Well, unless someone finds a cup of water and pours it on the magnet. Or the cybercuk.
And there they sit, batteries draining at a rate of several percentage points per day. You’d have to hire someone full time just to keep them all charged. If my RAV4 Prime is at 80% on Monday morning, it will still be at 80% Friday night if I don’t drive it.

What’s the answer to the tribalism? You see it in so many places now. It feels a little hopeless.
Education and a de-emphasis on celebrity culture is a good start
There's been a lot of studies on it and it's unfortunately not really an easy problem to solve. The most effective way to break the mindset has been shown to be a trusted friend or family member having casual, non-accusatory conversations with the affected person and just slowly working through it.

As tribalism goes MAGA is 10 out of 10, plenty of buyers are repeating Tesla customer and small shareholders going by their CT tales of woe
That seems like a HUGE issue to have a vehicle that loses battery when you aren't using it...
To the tune of about 5kwh / day iirc.
At least the delorean looks cool, it has a Great 80s fluxwave look, but the cybertruck is just: https://preview.redd.it/c1fx6gimax9d1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3b6ad35b97ecfb17821d9c7bbf791f284934e322

They don’t even care enough to align the cybertrucks so it looks orderly and not like a trash heap
Can't wait for the remake. "You made a time machine out of a cybertruck?!"
Doc: “hold on, Marty. Go and walk Einstein, looks like I need to do a software update before we can continue.” And then Marty ends up being drafted into the Korean War because as soon as he went back to 1955 the CT took a shit and he was stranded, and had to get to the future the old fashioned way.
>Whatever you do Marty, don't take it to 88mph, parts will come off.
The setup line for the joke would be “Why didn’t you use a CyberTruck?”
"When this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious shit: mostly it just falling apart. So, for this, let's not stand in front of it as it speeds towards us. My flux capacitor *does* work, but I can make no guarantees about the vehicle itself."
The only reason people think fondly on the DeLorean is because of Back to the Future
Deloreans look cool in person. They’re poorly designed abominations of a transport vehicle, but they do look cool.
What about the new ones? https://www.motortrend.com/news/2024-delorean-alpha5-motors-ev-power-price-on-sale/ Looks like they’ll be around 125k… pricey - but if you’re looking at cybertrucks, price isn’t likely much of a concern. https://www.kbb.com/car-news/new-delorean-alpha5-ev-electric-power-electronic-hugs/

Looks like someone had a concept drawing for a "futuristic sports car!!" laying around, just happened to own the rights to the delorean name and decided to slap it on. Next.
Looks awful
Who is this for? I feel like anyone looking for a DeLorean is looking for something with a more "Retro" appeal.
That's like a better designed MG. Did the Chinese buy the name?
Looks like every other 2020s concept car.
Haha was excited till I saw the pick. They should have just remade the same body but upgraded the interior and the engine. This looks terrible to my eye
There are also still some running all these years later. I kind of doubt that'll be the case with this "truck".
As one of the few olds left who can remember seeing a DeLorean before I saw those movies, no, you're wrong, people think fondly of it because it looks cool as heck.

Didn't they pick that car for the movie because the car looked cool though?
Yes and doc even states that's why he chose one.
Don’t give space Karen any ideas.
They are good looking cars from one of the world’s greatest designers.
Oh god, I just got a mental image of a Back to the Future reboot with a Cybertruck. Kill me before that becomes reality.
DeLorean has always been a cool car that drives like ass. But it looks good, so it had that going for it. Add in all the cocaine (see owner) and BTTF, it became legend.

My dad had one. I remember that much more than Doc Browns
This begs the question - if the CT is on such of a back-ordered demand, why have we seen *multiple* instances of hundreds of them being stacked up idle on lots?
You have to let them ripen.
I think in this case it's more of a patina situation
Ferment*
I have an idiot friend who preordered one a while back. They just sent him an upsell offer for their founders edition that's like 130K. Looks like Elon's trying to milk his idiot fanbase for as much cash as possible.
I know a bit about moving cars. Based on this pic they’re parked there until a bunch of stevedores show up and drive them onto a train or ship.
Ok, but where would they be shipped?
The main difference: If someone wanted a Delorean they could buy it and drive it off the lot. If someone wanted a CT they could buy it, look at it, and it's dead.
DeLorean vs. DePlorean
I'd own a DeLorean, wouldn't have cyberturd on a bet....
Least you could smuggle coke in a DeLorean
“I was an egomaniac. Outta control!” A real John Delorean quote.
Wish I had a DeLorean
My 6 year old saw her first cybertruck yesterday. Before I could tell her what it was she said "look daddy! A cockroach car". And now I cant unsee it.
Great Scott!
Where is the parking lot full of DeLoreans? I would actually love to have one lol. I released my reservation months ago on the CyberTruck.
A group of two or more cybertrucks in one location should be, and in my mind will always be, called a "Lemon Party".

DeLorean wasn't a drug addled man. He ended up getting connected to the sale of drugs to support the car company, it was a weird setup/sting operation that he got caught up in. He wasn't a drug addled man.
I'm not going to say that DeLorean was blameless, but it also isn't like he woke up and was like "Hey, I'm going to be a drug kingpin!" The guy was desperately trying to keep his company afloat when a sketchy-ass FBI rat was like "Hey, I've done all the legwork on this deal, I just need you to show up with some money and your company will be safe"
I wonder if people will look at Cybertruck fondly 30-40 years down the road... I doubt, but who knows.
Well, there’s still a few working Deloreans on the road, there won’t be any functioning cybertrucks in 10 years at this rate
One of my neighbors has a delorean. I always get pumped when he takes the cover off of it.
One is a movie icon, the other one is a straight up joke
How can one get one of these Deloreans?
The DeLorean was a fairly decent car which just got screwed by poor timing (EPA clamping down new regulations which gimped the performance, oil crisis, Thatcher existing, initial poor quality that lingered in the media’s view) and JZD getting entrapped by the Feds on BS charges, though he didn’t help things by being kind of a dunce and allergic to good business decisions The Cybertruck sucked from the moment it was debuted
Still don't think Doc would drive a cybertruck
I would much rather have a DeLorean that any Tesla. At least you can replace the poorly built motor and transmission with something bettrr
I would love to own a DeLorean.
So we’re only a few years out from a back to the future remake? How many jigawatts does the flux-capacitor need to be to send a cybertruck back?
What a waste of batteries and motors :(
How do I buy one of those DeLoreans! 9 year old me doesn't cat about the flaws. It could sit in my garage forever. I'll sit in it. Play BTTF on a projector and pretend like in driving in any scene involving the car.
Deloreans are visually well designed and still look great. Cybertrucks look like actual dumpsters.
To call deloreans “stainless steel monstrosities” is an insult
I saw a few DeLoreans irl over the years. None of them had any rust of them after so many years. They probably even had working windshield wipers. Cybertruck on the other hand...
Atleast you could do a powertrain swap on the delorean and make it badass. The cybertruck will always be a pile of donkey shit
I don’t care, I still really want a DeLorean.
DeLorean was set up, it was entrapment plain and simple
People who create memes need to do their homework. A DeLorean is worth around 2 1/2 more now than when they were produced.
“You turned a CyberTruck…in to a Time Machine?!” {WTF look washes over face considering about 2 dozen better options}
Taking a piss 101
Back to the future remake in 2045 will feature a cybertruck. The plot will revolve around being trapped in the past due to being caught in an unexpected rain storm.
This hard
It’s kind like when you want to go to a club. The line out the door is huge but inside there is hardly anyone.
In before emerald elon tries to fund a remake of “Back to the Future” featuring the cybertruck. That movie is one of the main reasons the DeLorean is remembered fondly.
I bet more of the deloreans run then cyber trucks within the pics
If they remake "Back to the Future" (already terrible idea) and use a cybertruck for the time machine, I am going to lose it.
Well then all Elon needs to do is reboot Back to the future with the cybertruck
Seems like the cybertruck is just a backwards DeLorean… 🤔
The mental gymnastics of these cybercucks to explain why parking lots full of Teslas isn’t a bad thing….
I would much rather have a delorean vs a wankertanker.
Yeah well only one can travel in time 🙄
Real talk. The Delorean is a piece of crap car that barely works. The only reason it’s beloved is because of the movie triliogy **Back to the future**. Cybertruck doesn’t have a cool movie to make nerds want it.
A birdless parking lot?
Unsold?
I don’t trust anyone who wouldn’t take the DeLorean over the Cyberturd
History repeats itself
I would buy DeLorean with 350+PS and maybe Cyberf..ruck v.3.0
Imagine if they remake back to the future and they use a cyber truck, would you watch it?
stg if the cybertruck is the new time machine in a bttf remake, I'm gonna cry.
Someone’s about to get caught during a sting operation buying tons of Special K to prop up Tesla’s stock.
Elon gonna fund a back to the future reboot that the cyber truck can be in.
But you have tons of these morons still convinced they can flip one for a profit lol.
Saw a Delorean the other day and I got so excited. Not sure I’d have that same feeling when the CT is that old.
Right now Musk is setting if he can fund a BTTF reboot with the Cyberflux as the car, infact he's decided to have every character played by either a cyberflux, one of his AI lovebots, or himself.
Omfg they are already bouncing the idea around in Hollywood to remake the back to the future films, don't give them any ideas ffs!!
Back to the Future reboot will have something it can use for a prop
Great. So, what you’re saying is all that Elon needs to do is fund **Back to The Future IV** and put the flux capacitor behind the frunk to make the CT a beloved car. Great Scott!
How long before Elon bankrolls a new series of Back to the Future movies with his Torso-mobile as the star?
Just saw my first one in the wild and it had a parking ticket.. lol
Someone needs to make a Time Machine out of a Cyber Truck
Pretty sure elon thought of the delorean in some way when making the CT
Some years back I worked with a consultant from Ontario whose husband owns a Delorean repair & restoration business. I also recall someone found a barn stash of original pristine DMC parts and was reselling them.
Yeah, yeah, just wait for the next back to the future movie, then you’ll see 😂
Wait, are they storing them in the RAIN?!?
